Seniorwriter: Be your own BOSS Do you know that with your qualification you can earn as much as #100k monthly by setting yourself on some nice online teaching platforms. BTW why not create a regular income by going into Affiliate e-clinics(online education clinics)..... OP if you have 10clients that pay you as little as $10 dollar for solving questions online weekly that's $100 weekly earnings. Proactivity Leads To Productivity.
@SeniorWriter OP don't listen to this advice. Online teaching is not a thing in Nigeria. You won't get any student. |

Hashabiah: My dear brother, except we want deceive ourselves, teaching in Nigeria has no future, and it will never add value to you as a person in the long run. So why not drop that lousy teaching job and start a new career in the factory your aunt recommended. Because this is an opportunity to relocate and learn practical skills that can add value to your life. And who knows, it might just be a gateway to your greatness in life.
Peace You have said it all. For those who haven't taught before, pray your condition doesn't get so bad that you'd have to teach. Teaching is not easy. |

Armaggedon: and she is now helping him into oblivion abi. what a liar! Even if Psquare were still together, they wouldn't have achieved much. Like other artists, they reached the peak of their careers in 2017. Don Jazzy used to have a midas touch. Artists clamoured to feature him because his beats or voice worked wonders. That is not the case anymore. Olamide used to be the talk of the town, but not anymore. M.I and Ice Prince used to be the kings of rap, but the crown is now worn by other artists. Every artist must see their popularity wane with time. Whether Peter and Paul get back together or not, they won't be as popular as they used to,and this has nothing to do with Lola. 2Face isn't as popular as he used to, so is Dbanj. Who do you blame for their waning popularity? Even the super talented Tecno has disappeared from the music scene. We hardly hear of Wande Cool these days. J.Martins hasn't been making music, so are African China, Faze, Daddy Showkey etc. As new artists come up,old artists lose their relevance. That's how it is everywhere, not just in Nigeria. So don't make a big deal of our Psquare's separation. |

The first air-condition car they rode was Lola's. When lola started dating Peter, people wondered what she saw in him because he wasn't her class. She used her connection to pave way for PSquare. Know the facts before you cast stones. |

OjukuwuHusband: this your experience is very much in most african societies and communities, and is part of the reason why the Nigerian diaspora is still at mediocre level compared to other nationalities.......the typical africans would contribute money if you fall sick or they're doing burial or wedding anything as long as that money would not advance your life and stop you from asking for help from them. You just hit the nail on the head. I couldn't have said it any better. A black man would rather keep his siblings in a perpetual state of poverty than assist them to be financially independent. Their fear is that if they assist their siblings to gain financial independence, there won't be anyone to send on errands. And they also fear that their siblings would begin to rub shoulders with them. African parents are also to blame. The most successful child becomes the favourite even if he/she is the youngest. If my parents accord me respect and affection because of my financial status, won't I be tempted to prevent my other siblings from rising so I won't have to share my parents respect and adoration? |

This post is partly true. I have seen rich people who don't care about their immediate family members. I have seen rich people who are generous to people they are not related to, but stingy to their family members. I have seen rich people who wouldn't give their siblings money to establish a business because they don't want them to rise.
For a long time,my elder brother wouldn't assist any of us because he wanted to be the only successful one in the family. He wanted us to literally kiss his ass, but we chose to avoid him than worship him. |

Career › Re: A 100k Monthly Salary In Nigeria Is Better Than A 400k Monthly Salary In USA by BinamRex: 9:25am On Mar 10, 2021 |
bloggerblogger2: YOU MAY AGREE OR DISAGREE.
A 100K monthly salary earner in Nigeria is better than a 400K monthly salary earner in the United States.
The luxury lifestyles some of us live here with 100K, cannot sustain us a day over there. We can’t try such in US and save a dim.
Some of our annual rent here is weekly/ monthly rent over there. Can you pay over 100K naira monthly house rent with 400K monthly salary here in Nigeria? You can’t do that, but you don’t have a choice over there. You pay or kicked out of the house.
Some of our people over there are becoming wiser now. They don’t mind sleeping on the streets, work for at least 5-10yrs, move back to Nigeria with their savings. You cannot survive with 100M living comfortably a year over there. Tax go finish you up. But you can live large with 100M for 5yrs or more here in Nigeria depends on your lifestyles tho.
You don’t pay unnecessary tax here. But in foreign countries you pay almost everything. In naija you can own 10 cars..not in the United States because you pay for packing space for each car. You get the point now?
Some of our people in diaspora, once they earn $10K in a month or so, depends on the job, they’d send $9K down to their Nigeria account and keep $1K for their upkeep. Some would buy lands and build houses for rent or some other businesses. If you don’t do that, you’d work all your life and come back with nothing. Those of you on this method are wise. But becareful of the people you send your money to here. Trust no one! Get a trustworthy lawyer involved.
U can make unnecessary noise or play loud music here. You can’t try such over there and not find yourself in police cell.
So you see….We are privileged here. We only need to get bad political leaders off the way. By getting involved in politics, national, state, LGA and community affairs. That’s how American youth you admire, do.
They don’t just fold hands, wailing and waiting for a miracle. They debate, disagree, challenge, involved and create. You get the point now? Every nincompoop wants to write. I bet you have never been to America. America is so hard yet those living there aren't coming back home in droves. America is a better country than Nigeria any day any time. I know quite a number of people that have relocated abroad. None of them have told me that they regretted the decision. |

Christians used to be the majority in the Middle East, but most of them converted to Islam to avoid paying punitive taxes or to escape persecution.
In the 1900s, Christians constituted 20-30% of the population of the Middle East. Today Middle Eastern Christians are not more than 3%. There population is dropping at a fast rate that if the trend continues, there will be hardly any Christian left in the Middle East.
Some of you may argue that they travelled out in search of greener pastures. While this is partly true, the major reasons Arab Christians are fleeing the Middle East is to escape persecution. Do you know that until recently, a church in Egypt needed presidential approval to carry out minor repairs. This power has been given to the governor of the state the church is located. The same law doesn't apply to mosques.
Arab Christians in Israel prefer to live under a Jewish state than an independent Palestinian state with Arab Muslims. Their reason isn't far-fetched: they are afraid of persecution and marginalization.
I feel for Yazidis, Christians and other religious minorites in the Middle East. Living with Muslims isn't easy. They go out of their way to oppress and terrorize religious minorites. |

GBOKASINCHA: When will the imam of saudi arabia visit our brothers in sambisa forest You should have known that Arabs are some of the sponsors of Boko Haram. Just tell Arabs you want to implement Sharia in your community, state or country and you need funds, and watch them come through for you. Muslims will not support a peace-loving imam. They always prefer the ones who preach hatred. |

El-rufai is a calculating and a shrewd politician. Don't be fooled! He doesn't love southern Kaduna. He just wants to soften hearts before 2023. If he wasn't nursing political ambitions at the federal level, he wouldn't have done anything for Southern Kaduna. In 2023 when people attempt to castigate him for neglecting Christian areas in Kaduna, he would use this to shut them up.
Why should Muslim areas be given priority when it comes to development? Couldn't development have taken place simultaneously? El-rufai is a snake. Those praising him will vote for him in 2023, then come here to lament like clowns. |

2010goingon: White man can move mountains and we can't ?
An Indian Swati Mohan was in charge of the Mars landing mission.
Japanese can , Indians can , Chinese can
They don't care for white man
Why should we , maybe because we are slaves to white man's religions , white man's culture , white man's language etc and hence are always subservient .
This is what I think , feel sorry but we simply lost the plot. I don't think it's about religion. I know many Nigerian doctors and scientists who are Christians and are doing wonders abroad. Ngozi Okonjo Iweala is a devout Christian and she currently heads the World Bank. Ben Carson said his Christian faith helped him become the person he is today. Last year an Igbo lady, a Christian, emerged the best graduating student at her university in India. She wasn't just the best graduating student at her department, she was the best in the school. We are as intelligent as white people. The thing is we do not give jobs to people who are really deserving. I once heard that if Nigerian doctors stopped working in the US, the country would face a health crisis. This goes to show how important we are if we chose to be important. The black race could send a rover to the moon, but we can't do that presently because we would be busy fighting over which tribe would head the space agency. Then everyone will come with their candidate. The state where the agency is located would want to have a number of slots for the citizens. We are not ready to contribute to the human race |
