A40: Lmaoo you people hyping AD after that Disney ring owe me an apology. I take them in Bitcoin, AVAX and XRP.
And don't tell me I was hyping this team entering the season. A nigga was playing devil's advocate. This team should not be 17 games under .500 in a conference with 3 teams openly tanking
Anyway what we have established is that the bubble ring was a dodgy one like we knew all along This is a wack@ss take. You played seven games and got beat 4 times. Wether it was played in the bubble or the moon, those were the champs that year. It is not our fault you couldnt visit your favorite strip club to destress because of covid. Your indiscipline cost you a ring, take the L like that. |

steady986: Stephen A saying the GOAT conversation is officially over because of what transpired this season is the most laughable thing ever . It just shows you how LeBron is held to a different standard from everybody who ever played the game of basketball. A 37-year old man in his 19th season who was on and off because of injuries, who was also missing his sidekick for more than half the season. Lmao. Where was MJ in his 19th season? That's right. He was eating cheese cakes and getting fat on his couch. Like I don't get. The same standard LeBron was held to at 27 is still the standard he's held to at 37. I know he's superhuman but come on The biggest blame goes to Lebron himself. See, when you talk too much, you better back it up. That is why even Steve Kerr was throwing shade openly. I have been following Lebron for a minute, and he tends to do badly when people are heaping praises on him. He needs this dose of humility, after all this foolish goat talk. No GOAT refers to themselves as GOAT. It is a conferred title, it is not you that will use your hand and take it. I hope people keep throwing shade all off-season. It will get so hot all the sycophants will leave and we can get a grounded Lebron next year. |

This is a case of a boy who was born with natural athletic genes to an basketball player father. Even in high school and college many doubted his own love for the game.

Android22: They won't make it. They are a game behind Spurs who are in 10th position and Lakers have Nuggets, Suns and GSW in the next 3 of their last 5 games. They could beat the floundering GSW but their next 2 games are sure fire Ls of which Spurs could then be 2 or 3 games ahead of the Lakers. I am fairly sure the Lakers are out. And it would be a fitting end. Lakers need to take their L and go learn some humility. AD wey no play all season trash talking Suns that if he was healthy they woulda taken out the Suns. Westbrook taking a dump on the court almost every game and insisting it smells like roses . Lebron trying to use points to cover the fact that he cant lead this team to do anything, not even the rookies. At this point in Lebron's career, ability to lead is more important than dropping stats. Yes, this team is old and doesnt play defense. But they have lost some games in a way that indicates leadership is also absent. You cant have goat like results and be a nice guy all the time. |

Roland17: Speaks volume of the chemistry in that team and excellent work Taylor Jenkins is doing as coach; he is definitely my coach of the season. One thing I love about the Grizzlies is that everyone knows their respective role and play within that role in an expansive system that is predicated by pace and quick offense. He was coach of the season last year too imo. At the beginning of this year, I listed them as top 3/4 teams in the west and folks thought I was crazy. But I remember what they did in last year's play in. They only lost because of first time playoffs jitters. No team from 3-8 wants to see the Grizz come playoffs. |

steady986: Lol. You're only noticing him now because his team is good. That's it. In this league no one gives a hoot about you if your team is bad, and that's sad. I for one have always maintained that KAT is a top 5 big man in this league. Like you maintained AD is top big man KAT's talent has never been in doubt. His commitment was. I used to follow him when the wolves had Wiggins, and was never impressed. I stopped following because I wasnt going to waste my time on such an unserious fellow. |

Roland17: Anyone with thoughts about the J. Butler incident?
Spo is usually measured and in that incident he was out of character which leads me to believe he has tried his best in managing Butler's excesses. Udonis is the OG on that roster that keeps everybody in line, Butler is a renegade who doesn't feel accountable to anyone. Butler has a history of being disruptive (Bulls/ TWolves/ Sixers) and it was only a matter of time before this happened.
The Heat have a strong mentality when it comes to their culture. I think they sit down together and hash this one out, especially as the post season closes in, things like this are not new in professional sports. Butler is an integral piece of the domino but he is not indispensable to Miami and that is why I feel this might be his last season in Miami if this is not properly addressed because while it is nothing, it is something. Just Butler being Butler. He likes to bark a lot, but nothing will come of it. |

Literally no win against any top three team in either conference this team. For a supposed top team. And not only do we lose, we get our backs blown out.

mattfeuter: My brother,
Since we can all agree that the rings argument has “sailed” and never to return to harbour, I mean, why not catch/pass Kareem lol
Personally, I wouldn’t want him to shut it down regardless if the lakers make the playoffs or not. I think the NBA is better with Lebron. . . . . It hasnt sailed imo. He just needs to be more patient - the Lakers can come back next year with young legs and win the whole thing. The reason he doesnt look GOAT like right now is really Lebron's own doing. You should never heap GOAT accolades on yourself - others do it for you. See Tom Brady, have you ever heard him put himself in the GOAT conversation? No. Just let your body of work speak for you. All the things I praise Lebron for, this talking too much thing, that is the one consistent knock on him. That and passing the game winning shot to a 3pt shooter when you are right there at the rim with 2s to go |

Humans can never be pleased. Which kind backhand compliment be this?
If he plays hard, he’s stat padding.
If he doesn’t, then he simply doesn’t care to give enough effort.
Wetin una want exactly If Lebron gets injured this year only to miss playoffs or get blown out in the first round, that would be foolish, do you agree? Sometimes its better to shut it down, recuperate and come back. And I have never accused Lebron of stat padding. If Lebron is on the floor he is good for a triple double any night, we all know that. Question is, is it worth the risk on a 37 year old body. |
Sports › Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 1:58pm On Mar 22, 2022 |
I still feel Lebron's intensity this late in a lost season is a foolish and lost cause, but I have to give props where its due. When the guy said he wasnt going to quit, he meant it. It takes a special breed to still lay it out on the floor every night. And it sets a very good example for the rest of the team. We play hard till the end. |

Lol, I have very little ill will towards Harden. I no get energy abeg Sometimes, I actually pity him, because I dont think he fully grasps what it means to sacrifice to win - the guy is addicted to partying. Like I told Roland17, I really want to see how Embiid handles this if the playoff dreams do not materialize this year. |

Danielnino00: I was thinking, what if they introduce a rule to put a limit to the number of three pointers a team can make in a game? Say not more than 15 threes attempt in regular minute and 3 in OT? Would that make sense? Cus it appears a lot of folks believe that the advant of the 3-pointer has made basketball boring... A better option is to allow more aggressive defense, and give perimeter defenders more benefit of the doubt. The hand check rule also needs to be repealed. It will kill some peoples games, eg the Harden, Klay etc and tilt the game back towards skilled bigs and big guards. Just my own opinion. |

A40: I don't think he's hurt right now but for his size and salary his play is just too mediocre and inconsistent. Was a bad trade by the Mavs in the first place He is not hurt, but he is still missing games. you know mark cuban has a weakness for euro players. He was thinking he had a second Nowitzki. But Porzingis turned out to be more like Chandler Parsons |

A40: This Celtics defense is serious boy. How do you hold the Warriors to 32 points at the half
And how fitting is it that it's Dinwiddie that hit the dagger on Brooklyn. Offloading Porzingis is already looking like a masterstroke At this rate, Porzingis wont be in the league in the next 2 seasons. The way the guy man dey miss games, he makes AD look like Navy SEAL. |
