Most people know the country based on TV. Most of the country is actually rural, with average education ending at high school. Iphones and youtube has exposed many things. The major population centers like nyc, bmore, htown, atl, boston, la, frisco paint a very incomplete picture.

Some of the corruption here will make your LGA chairman look like amateur. The police acts you see are tip of iceberg. Psychos with ptsd in d police that make mopol look like the good guys. They have black site jails that even lawyer and judge cannot get you out, even though you are yet to be tried.

yeap. plus florida is looking bad right now. You can isolate the players, but what about the workers that go back home everyday? Bro, there are many 50 yearolds that were ranked above 25 yearolds. Check out the top 10, it's filled with guys from the 60s to 90s.

You have to be honest on the top 10. Their stats still look crazy - you cant just throw KD or Curry in there because they shoot lights out.

After top 10, it gets questionable - Why is Harden smelling 30s - what did he win to be in the same hood as Isaiah Thomas. Giannis could be top 20 someday, but not right now - there is not enough body of work to put him above AI. These guys are higher because they are familiar names

ESPN ranked Giannis above Patrick Ewing, Allen Iverson and Isiah Thomas, and ranked Kawhi above all these guys plus D Wade. It's still these same ESPN analysts that say MJ is the GOAT. That says it all.

Its a business decision. If you rank some 50 year old over a 25 year old, your advertising dollars will suffer. I wouldnt take these rankings too seriously

The Pistons had a Jordan rule book they applied effectively anytime they can up against Jordan under Doug and the Bulls but Phil came with the triangle and changed everything.
Yesterday, I rewatched the full episode of 30 for 30 Bad Boys Pistons yesterday and was able to find the YouTube videos. Also, I don’t care how his personality is being vilified, Isaiah Thomas was a great player during that era and nothing will change my view about that. He had some personal problems especially with his communication but he was held to different rules as he was already seen as the head of the snake.

Isaiah is much maligned, but the dude is very very underrated. the mental discipline, to me is on par with MJ or Kobe. You should also watch Isaiah's interview with chris broussard if you havent already. He explains the Jordan rule differently from what most people are saying

Jerry Krause desperately wanted to be a part of the inner caucus. He felt threatened by Phil's popularity and how close he had gotten with MJ/Pippen/Rodman. I can't understand for the life of me why he would rock the boat in the middle of the season by saying Phil will not return the following season. I mean, he could have waited until the end of the season and that just backfired because Michael is as loyal as they come. This man would have been celebrated today if he did not get jealous. I mean, he got Phil, saw the potential in Pippen, and was the brain behind bringing Rodman from the Spurs but got overzealous.

Rolling with the 90s bulls and MJ will bring out every insecurity and self doubt you have. Even just from the interviews you can tell Krause had a self esteem problem. That shot at Phil was more fear than stupidity - how will you fire a coach that goes 82-0? Because he has threatened your sense of self worth.

You know whats sad? The man is dead and he is still getting no love - pride does a different level of damage to people. I should add that I feel some type of way about bagging on a man who cant respond. It would have been nice to get his perspective 2 decades later

Typo. I meant the player he was when he lost to Dallas. 2010/11. Across board now he is much better than that player. He was so limited. They slagged off him and forced him to shoot and man could not hit water standing on a boat. I felt for him.

I have been watching Hardwood classics on NBATV and I have observed something upon watching many of the old games. The 1980s bunch were really good. As for 2000s-2010? These present teams will beat them silly. And all that "this era is soft" is nonsense. They gave the silliest fouls in the early 2000s. Goddam the Dallas vs Miami finals of 2006 was so poor. I am pained. LOOOL.

Side note; LBJ has really improved. The player he was when he lost to Miami is 2 steps below LBJ of 2020 and that is saying a lot considering it's been 8/9 years since then.

Ice is a stretch. KD shot at a higher clip and averaged more points. Bear in mind Westbrook went 4/20 in the elimination game

To be honest, Westbrook probably did as much damage to Durant by hogging the ball that series
