Car Talk › Share Your First Car Bashing Experience. by bishopkay(op):
No matter how much we try to be careful, we still tend to get distracted at times leading us to bash other road users and you begin the popular rhetoric " Oga ema binu please no vex sir" grin gringrin

I had my first official bashing since beginning to drive for four years now and it was caused by negligence on my part.
I was rushing for an appointment you know been best man to someone and wedding about to start so driving fast became unavoidable with the barage of calls coming in asking "where are you"?

If you have driven in Benin you would know hold ups happen along that Sapele road a lot. Well I bent down my face for a second to pick up my phone to answer a call and I saw the car was already in my lane in front of me (how it got there I didn't know) and I had closed the gap quiet easily been that I was driving a Benz and going fast and was entering a hold up Double wahala -Sorry Triple wahala! Lol
I slammed the brakes but couldn't save myself from the inevitable. Gbuah!! It had happened.
I sha begged the guy since the impact didn't damage anything and we parted ways.
Lesson learned:
1. Never get distracted by calls or anything while driving. it could cost you a lot.
2. No matter where you are rushing to, getting to your destination is first so never compromise it with excess speed.

So share your first car bashing experience, let's Thank God, and perhaps laugh over it too.

You start with disjointed statements and end with lies. Why will u be expecting the govt to spend money, when u know very well that the cases are still in court?? And please, which are the corruption cases u are referring to that efcc is keeping quiet about??

My friend, please stick to logic and facts!
Were you in the country when Buratai's Dubai houses were busted? Were you in the country when Dambazua was implicated in the arms probe but had his name extricated from the list? They finally traced some very expensive real estate within and outside Nigeria to him. What did the EFCC do about it? The President's COS Kwari was exposed for receiving 500 million naira from MTN to help them renegotiate their fine.

All these with evidence and what did the EFCC do about them? Did Buhari even act like he heard? I guess he still had his ear problem then.
You would definitely feign ignorance on these cases or even prefer not to hear about them, but would rather jump all over Patience Jonathan's thread frothing at the mouth.

Bros fairness to one is fairness to all. Let's not divide ourselves into these for and against teams these politicians want to put us while they steal us dry. They are all the same; the padding saga comes to mind...

When your car drowns in one of the numerous "ponds" in the roads, you will be convinced to "change the change "

Do you people even have sense? You keep regurgitating d rhetoric "if we can survive PDP for 16 years" crap.
Is PMB PDP? While one is a party, the other is an individual.

Now ask yourself who and who makes up APC now if not former PDP members. APC is simply PDP repackaged in another cloak and you are here spewing rubbish.

Nigeria truly deserves the leaders she gets because if at this stage tribal and religious sentiments can still prevail over sane reasoning then we are finished in this country.

oga stop allowing hatred to lower ur reasoning. Is it not becoming obvious with this huge amount of cattle recovered from these rustlers that they, the rustlers, are the ones attackin those villages now to the average farmer seeing them with their cattles they are herdsmen. So this operation is really needed because it seems the activities of these rustlers have been going on unchecked.
That was why I asked what happened to the police and Civil Defence corps to mitigate against the crime of cattle rustling? Then you saying these rustlers are the ones uprooting people's cassava and feeding it to their Cows and kill and maim people when challenged, then go about killing and sacking whole villages is just laughable.

Let's even say the rustlers are the ones attacking farmers; what about down south? Have you heard of cattle rustlers down south because I only hear them up north. So if in your judgement you say cattle rustlers are the ones responsible for sacking whole villages and not the herdsmen per say, how then did they cross from the north to the south with their rustled cattle? How come the miyetti Allah coordinator speaks on their behalf whenever there's an attack stating why they attacked, Why has the FG not gone after the criminal rustlers instead of playing mute? Or are they subtly supporting them?

You can fool certain people all the time but not all the people all the time.

Bro I know what their work is. But considering the votality of the polity surrounding these herdsmen issue now, the war in the NE, the resumption of Militancy in the ND and other pocket crisis here and there, don't you feel this is a misplaced priority? What is the work of the police and the civil defense?

The police is the appropriate authority bordering around civil law, and it's the job of the armed forces to protect our territorial integrity!

All the security apparatuses of this country have been reduced to a joke! Cows and sheep seriouslyhuh

The airforce is now tasked with recovering stolen cattle and sheep, the DSS now guard pipelines and arrest lawmakers trying to impeach a corrupt governor and the Army are now the aide d camps and escorts for fulani herdsmen. Reason they got themselves killed in droves by untrained civilians in Niger state coz instead of em to train they use such time roaming the bushes, harassing fulani target communities, and taking their arms for self protection.

Where are those APC sai buharists? Someone please Cc them cos I can't seem to find any of em here.

TO THE STUPID NEVER DO WELL ZOMBIES, THESE ONES SHOT NOW ARE THEY "IPOD YOOTS" OR SECESSIONISTS?

You celebrated the massacre of unarmed civilians in the SE and the shitte what would you say about this now?

Then these communities seeking peace from these Fulani animals, you can never reason with animals...you simply kill them off. Never involve the police or armed forces in these disputes because they would naturally tilt to where there's money for them and from what i hear about the modus operandi of these herdsmen, they have quite a lot to throw about
RIP to the dead

*Modified

You never value what you have until you loose it! I don't remember protesters being shot and killed like this during the last administration; yet they called him clueless and a tyrant. I remember the trigger happy policeman who shot someone during the #occupyNigeria protests, was fished out and properly dealt with. But the current FG emboldened the armed forces to shoot unarmed protesters indiscriminately when they were busy reading riot acts and massacring people instead of listening to the grieviances of the people; Its a pity.

Now if this community arms and mobilizes themselves for reprisals and the military or police come in out of the blues to disarm them, won't a scenario like what happened at Niger state repeat itself again if the people refuse undecided undecided embarassed

We keep on stacking up new problems for ourselves in this country instead of solving the ones on ground angry angry angry

O Lawd I've seen it all and I'm so happy seeing this. Cyber stalking now under EFCC jurisdiction? I don't really know the job of the police any more in this contraption called Nigeria.
DSS our SECRET police now arrest house members trying to impeach a corrupt governor and protect pipelines, the Army has taken over the work of the police as a normal Nigerian now prefers to go report a crime to them instead of the police and leading them to go attempt to disarm people who have taken self defense to heart resulting in unnecessary casualties on their side and many other things strange happenings.
