Wickedtruths:Which of the election did he win in 1999? |
CodeTemplarr:Christmas don reach the government through their mouth piece and spies have started re-spreading their propaganda before to look for ways to increase fuel price. When they want to do demonic comparisons they speak this trashes saying Nigeria has one of the lowest prices of fuel. But when it comes to paying living wage you'll hear inflation and they will not compare again. The next thing you'll hear them say is that civil servants don't work. But imagine those who gave been ministers of petroleum from 1999 till date could not make the four refineries to work but there have always collected money for point of no return journey of TAM. |
adenigga:I wished there are people like me who would just go out and beat the bones out of people who say nonsense and be blaming consumers rather than the service providers. Imagine an individual blaming consumers who have not upgrade their prepaid that it's their fault!!!! Something they said the Discos are supposed to do free, why blame a consumer? Is it not just for them to go door to door, building to building, apartment to apartment, compound to compound and do their work with the vests on and proof of identification!!! What's all this rigmarole of stupid talks? You don't need to consumer to notify the Discos to come upgrade the prepaid meters if the protection agency are even saying the truth and have not been compromised!!! |
emkz:Sorry but you can't put the likes of Ben Bruce to stand against Wike. Ben Bruce no get political weight against Wike. It's good you mentioned Saraki but still they know who Wike is and they will need much more than that. You see that thing we Tambuwal do Wike for the presidential primaries, they will all collect wototwoto. It's just even a little pay back from what they did Wike and most especially what they all did to PGEJ. You see why even PGEJ no dey put mouth for the matter. I look forward to the old guards been brought down and let a new guard be formed. The old remain a threat and treacherous. They have been in governance and shown themselves and they are nothing but deceit and no meaningful development in even their home States. |
Edygrin:Na only you dey complain. Keep complaining. |
Tabithatim: |
nikky5:You did not mention the type of building and number of rooms of it. Also foundation type largely depends on soil type. Also you did not state if the truckload of granite and sand is that small truck of 6 tyres or ? Also kindly drop the foundation plan of the building for better comments from architects, engineers, builders, artisans, contractors and also experienced home owners who have built recently. |
obataokenwa:It depends on what angle of what it takes to have a Senate. Remember they all have constitutional roles, duties and obligations. The real question should be is do the masses really want to do the right thing? There is what we call recalling a senator and we the masses have never done that which is our constitutional rights. If we know that the Senate are being bought over or are just mere yes men to the president then they all should be recalled and another given the position. Till we do what is right as the populace the so called leaders will take our power for granted just because of the few who collect nuts from them. |
obataokenwa:When there was still subsidy and no devaluation of currency what was the value did the governors add to the nigerian economy or should I say their own local economy? It's not compulsory and not by the constitution that the president takes decisions from members of the FEC/House/Senate. It is his obligation to listen to their opinions and probably read their reports if they put up a working document towards that effect. But the bunch of the work and final decisions resta on him. That is why if anything goes wrong most times even if he uses a document presented by anyone he the president will still be blamed by Nigerians. |
blueAgent:People who don't use their brains when it comes to economic issues end up saying what you just posted. One-way thinkers and nothing else. They look always to throw blame to another. When there was still subsidy and no floating of currency what was the value did the governors and local government chairmen add to the nigerian economy or should I say their own local economy? |
obataokenwa:Yes, it may seem or should I say PBAT is getting it all wrong. But I don't really intend to look at it from that angle because we have made it a habit of blaming the FG and every President who fails to meet up the aspirations of the masses. But we have refused to put same weight of blame on the respective State governors!!! Just as Jesus Christ said in the Holy Bible, we have neglected the weighter matters. Imagine a President has to ensure that the entire economy has to be functional and operational in the entire 36 States of the federation having their numerous local government council areas. But you see governors, many of them will blame the president but there are those who have cone heads that produces nothing good. |
Bobloco:People will say Falana is on point and he speaking against it because he is handling the Rivers State governors' case at the FHC in Abuja. Falana will have to write a book on autonomy of the not just the judiciary alone but the legislature as well. It's all because there is a fight between a former governor and his successor that's why it's looking and the former governor who is given an appointment at the federal level is replicating what he did in his State at the federal level and now it has looked like judgments are being purchased!!! This one will pass for it does not have substance whatsoever. |
obataokenwa:Who are the elders of Niger Delta? Elders who can't bring significant development to the region? Elders who only come to talk and collect talking allowances. Gov. Amaechi ruled for 8 years and the purported elders mouths were clipped. Gov. Wike ruled and though he brought them out of their hiding places and gave them relevance but still their mouths were clipped. Gov. Fubara came and the elders though happen to be talking but because they want to continue to collect their feeding bottle allowances. |
[quote author=amSTARboy post=132968156]Soludo for President…. Saraki for Vice President….. I was in Anambra last month and I was really impressed with the level of infrastructural development going on simultaneously across the whole state. The capital Awka is undergoing a facelift….all these in 3years. I hope he doesn’t slow down if he gets a second tenure. Good job Prof… [/quote What did Saraki achieve in Kwara State for 8 years? How many flyovers did he build during his tenure? |
NwaNimo1:PBAT should as a matter of fact call set up a meeting between the Attorney general and Accountant general of the federation and same of the Ogun State government and incumbent governor and find out what really happened on their own part because governance is continuous. For me this is just a formality but let due process be adhered to. A period of 2 weeks is okay for them to give their reports. The assets amounting to that amount that the FG has lost should be deducted directly from the FACC allocation of the Ogun State government in installments and same paid to the Chinese company on behalf of the State government. Doing this will forestall any other State governor or government who would want to do same to other foreign contractors and also a system should be done for even local contractors who State governors/government are indebted to and hep recover the bad debts. Moreso, all governors and those in the process and admnisration of such contracts who break contractual agreement and refused to pay should be punished by the law. It will also serve as deterrent to others in future. |
Vinnie2000:Have you ever heard don't jeopardize your work for anyone be it family or friend ? Moreso, how can you write a receipt for an actual amount when what was collected was not up to the original amount? That's defrauding the company and how do you expect the company to still retsin you or how will the staff feel if the owner funds out a d pretends not to know and when salary is been paid the balance is deducted from her salary assuming her salary is even more than the purported balance? |
ogododo:We are sure the Area North not quite long just completed 8 uninterrupted years and if they did not serve their Northern interest then they will have to wait for the 8 years of the West to be completed and afterwards give the East their 8 years to be completed before it will go back to the North and return again to the people of the Niger Delta of the South. The North should forget all these their talks for though they think they have the population but not all of the North is gullible and in roads will be made. Let the Northern governors put their respective States' in order and do what is right for a modern society. The North in Nigeria is not the only place where Sharia or Islam is practiced but I'm sure backwardness and retrogression are not inherent in such practice of religion because if it is then UAE and even Saudi Arabia would not be what it is today. Let's all emulate what is good and leave out what is bad. |
Electorate:Please what's the source of this information? I like reading things one would hardly come across or be told ordinarily by another. |
Racoon:Every administration has its own clowns but this admnisration has numerous of them growing by the numbers. The only problem is that those who are their followers are insensitive insensible. |
Ezziezzy:They keep telling they know but won't me too names of the known people and will always speak nonsense just like it means sense. How will someone know who causing him disaffection as a governor and will not mention the names. I guess probably he doesn't even have any tangible proofs. Who are the opposition politicians and don't he think even within the party he is there are oppositions too. The moment they asked him to show proof of the State debt he claimed to have paid and all that he started saying all sorts of humpty dumpty stories. |
LandMann:Let each zone constitute a committee get a copy of the tax reform bill, understand it and tell us the advantages and disadvantages and if there is any hidden aspect of it, let them draw attention to such and make it known to their constituents and populace at large. Then we can all decide if we would go on a national protest. |
Princelyod:What the FG approves is for only FG civil staffs. That is why the meeting there with the NLC also had representatives from the 36 States and Abuja in attendance..The FG approval is just benchmark that all others should follow and not necessarily that they should do same. That's why any State can go higher than it and not lower. |
VillageOracle00:Whatever Wike approves of, he will fulfill. |
Michael547:As you responded so it is. |
Michael547:Does the Bible say it is a must that a Christian should be circumcised? Yes or No... |
owukpa:All this go forth and back lashes will continue because it's all about religion and not about God and Christ Jesus. The Bible has been given to man to read and understand. The Holy Spirit has been released through Christ Jesus to mankind to those who are of the Light to understand the Truth in the word of God. Tithe will continue to become a thing of controversy to those who are controversies and controversial. Ever wondered why the early Apostles of faithand especially Apostle Paul did not talk about Tithe outside of the Israel on his entire missionary journey. The same reason he did not bother to make anyone to be circumcised and that was why he stood up to Apostle Paul to tell him why does he play the hypocrite when the Apostles and others distanced themselves from one of them who was not a Jew but was a Christian and believer who was not circumcized. Even Jesus Christ himself used wisdom and avoided controversial people. Ever wondered why would the Son of Man pay the temple tax when he was asked to when his disciple inquired of Him when they were asked of their Master does not pay the temple tax....... Jesus comment still remains and will never change and He asked his disciple........whose inscription is on the coin and he responded Caesar's. May the Lord enable us with His Spirit to apply God's wisdom in our everyday lives and living. |
Bobloco:Even if this may be true, you have left out some aspects of the truth. So you can blame Wike to be economical with the truth while you're doing same thing. Nevertheless, I still wonder if it's true that Wike abused PO out of PDP and he PO legt the party without telling AA, then it amazes me that PO who later became the LP Presidential aspirant still find it good and worthwhile to go to Wike who was still governor to solicit for help in getting votes to win the presidency!!!! I don't still get it!!! If the man couldn't help you while in the same party believing he Wike kicked PO out of PDP when it matters to have helped him become the presidential aspirant while will he Wike help him PO become president..... |
PressMyButton:“It’s funny how we quickly forget history. In 2014, when Emir Ado Bayero died, this same “Lagos Axis” flew into Kano, met with you as the then Gov of Kano, and lobbied for SLS to be made the Emir against the wishes of the majority of Kanawa, just to spite Jonathan (SLS wasn’t even part of the 3 contenders nominated by the Kingmakers then) .You agreed to it after “the Lagos Axis” promised to support your presidential ambitions in 2019. I so much like it when they quarrel and the truth starts coming out in trickles. Tomorrow, someone from no where will come and tell me that SLS is loved by kanawa......please who are the kanawas that love him? I look forward to the court final judgment and ruling on the case. |
Richtaiwo:What makes you feel that because Shettima says so means that is the FG position? Have you heard PBAT say anything concerning such? You have no idea who PBAT is on such matters and I think the Vice President can't speak for the FG about such. |
LegendHero:I couldn't make any sense of what he is saying here if that is what was said by him. I guess those people he was and is telling such things are part of the educated illiterates who don't happen to know anything. What has the bribery of NA members of the North over offshore assets in the South become harmful to the North? I guess he should have told them that the meshiya and wheelbarrow pushers will also be paying their taxes to Lagos as well and they want to take their HQ to Lagos. |
Ebubu9:Don't worry the new CJN of the nation will shine her touch light on that at the right time. The case in court is still on. Nobody can tell what might happen. But Ado Bayero remains in the palace that he is stationed along his security details. Everyone has their cards to play. For now, Emir SLS is playing local politics. |
Bobloco: ![]() Interestingly not quiet long the WB said, the FG/Nigeria should hold on to their reform policies and stick to it be consistent and over a long duration the economy ans people will see the desired results..... But look now, the IMF says the policies ain't working and it's putting the masses into more hardship... Between the WB and IMF, which institution should Nigerians believe? We know what a long term policy is but what is the FGs short term policy duration to know if it's working as predicted by the economy handlers? |
