It should be same for all prepaid meters nationwide because all meters are being utilised under distribution companies who must statutorily upgrade them to allow compliance with band tariff identification and migration charges of the FG.

There is insincerity on the part of Government regarding transparency. I think because of fear of backlash over cost hikes given the tough economic climate. Nonetheless, Government should provide accurate info regarding customer tariff bands and charges.

Personally, I'd advise Nigerians to seek independent info themselves instead of waiting for such. Customers can find accurate info for tariff bands and cost for their residence or business premises from Discos like Eko and Ikeja distribution companies in the case of Lagos State for example.

They are misinforming the public. You cannot avoid upgrade of your prepaid meter. Once your units run out you must top up. Two sets of token will be provided and must be inputted with the bonus token first and then actual units token second.

Inputting both token codes completes the upgrade. If the loading unit rejects the codes then customer must contact buypower.ng and they will sort it out on the phone there and then.

A yet-to-be-identified driver luckily escaped death on Monday morning when a 40-foot-laden container fell onto a Toyota Camry, with registration number LSR 293 HJ, at Mile 2, en route to Apapa Ports, Lagos.

Fortunately, the driver of the car was rescued by the prompt intervention and coordinated response of (LASTMA) and other emergency services, including the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA).
The victim received immediate medical attention after being rushed to the hospital by the joint rescue team.

Security during the operation was effectively maintained by officers from the Kirikiri Police Division, who ensured a secure and orderly environment for the emergency responders.
Following the rescue, the Toyota Camry was successfully removed from beneath the container.
