He displayed passion, initiative and experience about the gas filling business and handling of POS....so I just took the chance, we also speak same language. I've been acting nice and all but I think I now know why most Nigerian bosses are mean to their workers by default

Second cylinder was started today by him......when I told him to calculate everything sold from first cylinder based on daily record book ....it felt short of 10kg

From the sales from second cylinder that started today, The account book does not tally with what is remitted through ATM/POS mode of payment .....I dint know this until I checked my Moniepoint acct as I got home now cos my phone was dead before I went to the shop this evening

Even the POS part of the business does not tally with the cash I gave him this morning for people who need cash withdrawal

I'm boiling right now realizing the boy had lied to me when balancing the account this night using the record book, only to get home and power my phone to see cash fell short of 23k in my monie point acct linked to the POS

The bolded is true for all States of the federation. So it's not just whether it is a SHC or FHC.
We only say good things of the judiciary when a judgment favour us but when it favours the opposition , the judiciary is to be blamed.

Bayelsa State Governor wants IOCs to bring their HQ to the State , is that not the same thing Rivers State has been shouting as well, how about Delta State, will they be denied same too?

So Gov.Diri can't look at the FG laws regading stoppage of gas flaring and enact laws in the State that will make the IOCs to stop it or mitigate it.
Sometimes I just believe we don't have governors who are actually knowledgeable enough and be able to think through and reason.



Na this Bayelsa State we dey for 4 months now no light and we don't think the PBAT has heard it but those northern states that don't have light for just 10 days are known by PBAT.

The headline is saying that they have withdrawn their purported affidavit but when you read the article it says they "withdrawn part of it"....
Please does this imply that the affidavits and oaths they took have been amended because to me that's what to withdraw part would mean.....

In as much as I know that even such affidavit can't actually stand in court for this particular case but does Gov. Fubara and his men not gotten their hands on this so called affidavit or what exactly has he been using as evidence in the Courts he has been going to or we are just relying on media dramas and gimmicks and fairy tales.

Without much thought his party has suspended him and withdraw his office and he is just a floor member till the investigation is complete. It's just a video evidence of his assault.

To the best of my understanding, Gov. Fubara is not been truthful in certain of these things.


A lot of things were itemized on the peace pact agreement.
Was it Gov. Fubara that took the SHA to court or they took him to court that he is the one to withdraw the case?
Is it not the person who instituted the case that will withdraw the case?
Is that not how they do out of court settlement?

What exactly is there to hide?

What other things were on that peace pact that he refused to accent to the moment he came to Rivers State from Abuja after listening to his so called advicers?

So, how much of Rivers State allocation will he be giving them and for how long can he do that if it's all about money?
Is it not this same money we were meant to believe the former governor wanted from him!!!!!
There's so much Gov. Fubara is yet to tell Rivers State people about the real issue between him and his Boss. All I can say is that na gossip we dey gossip.

The court of Appeal already ruled against Fubura after initially refusing to even grant a stay of execution, Fubara was Ambushed by Wike and his goons after he obeyed the peace agreement brokered by the President and he withdrew his suit against the Wike faction on House of assembly, this case has is now being tried on technicalities rather than the merit, you withdraw your case already so you don't have any case you need to respect your decision which means Wike faction are the legitimate HOA, the court of Appeal ruled also on that technicalities rather than merit and I expect the supreme Court judgement to go their way also but what I really want to know is that can the merit of this case be tried again right from the federal High Court?

You can't take the same case on same subject matter to the HC again.
I don't believe anyone ambushed Gov. Fubara in that saying because he withdraw.
The agreement he had with PBAT on white paper specified certain things to be done by him. Now if he wants us to believe that he was told to withdraw the case of which he did, also note that the other party is supposed to withdraw as well because it's a two way thing!!!
Those who went with him to the peace pact have not even come out to say that PBAT deceived them if that is the case.....
From my own perception Gov. Fubara did not carry through on those agreement on that pact the moment he came back to Rivers State from Abuja for reasons best known to him.
So you'll see he is speaking from both sides of his mouth. You can't be saying you don't have any problem with PBAT and on the other hand you'll taunting the president.There hare things you don't do as an administrator on public television.

It's an appeal in futility.
There's no court that will give him judgment because there's still no court that has declared vacant the seats of 27 others.
We are being told that there's a case at the Supreme Court with respect to that but I can't seem to say from where because the Appeal Court previously said the Rivers State High Court lacks jurisdiction and so can't declare those seats vacant. On another case the FHC said he should resubmit the budget to the proper SHA members.
I still don't know who Gov. Fubara is taking advice from but it all seems like they will not work in his favour. He's attitude shows lack of maturity in handling such things.

Of what importance is settlement our of court?
That prison sentence even if it's 6 months that Senator will serve and he will lose his office and other will take his place. That way many others like him will behave themselves. Even the Senate President and Speaker are not exempted.

It is that same court that put Fubara to be Governor. Itis that same court that put a serving senator and governorship aspirant in prison too.

It won't be the same license and vehicle plate for God sake. It will have national identification but with West African compatibility to facilitate regional trade and even enhance security.

A Nigerian registered vehicle and Nigerian driver will still be identified appropriately by Ghanaian or Beninoise police.

They will know where the vehicle and driver originate from even if both have compliant West African approval to drive within Ghana and Benin Republic.

West African compliant drivers license and vehicle registration just means they will no longer be harrassed and/or extorted, plus possibly detained for hours as is happening today, driving through Ghana or Benin Republic.

Drivers license is same. Only vehicle registration is not standardised. Bottom line is that it is the Eurozone that manages the standardized aspects of free travel of good and services not, for example, France alone. Same as this cannot be anything Nigeria alone will control or even direct. It is a joint regional initiative.

I have seen it work and work well first hand. We don't have to begin from a position of pessimism and negativity over everything.

Worth looking at the pros of a policy and then workability before dismissing it. IT capacity and DBM (database management) has moved on significantly since the EU came into existence.

We have templates to use, I.e the EU ,plus better and more modern capacity to coordinate and manage regional integration. I think it is a good idea. Nigeria will be the big winner.

NB, you have got it wrong about Security also. It is like DNA when collated and managed effectively with an efficient DBM system. It enhances security effectively.

Cross border banditry, terrorism, human trafficking and general crime is a problem in West Africa. We as Nigerians feel this more than others. Tracking of vehicles and drivers info more efficiently can only help significantly to enhance security.

It is not about being pessimistic but about sustainability. If another FRSC comes on board he will be looking for what to do and abandon this one. We lack continuity.

Every country should have their own pattern for driver license and number plates while that which is for ECOWAS because of regional trade they should also have a different pattern for such so that those who are into regional trade and business with their vehicles can opt for that a proper identification process and data base be kept to maintain security.

Trying to make all ECOWAS states have same drivers license and vehicle number plates will cause a serious insecurity problem in and for Nigeria since we already have one that is yet to be tackled given the prone nature of our boarders and attitude of all those who are expected to mount the boarders.
