Islie:The one they said during the campaign has not been accomplished and there's no timeline for everything said by this APC administration seems to be in indefinitenon existing existence. Now, whatsoever that was said in far away Cape Town promising Nigerians 20 hour daily power supply is just for that fora. We are going in sweet nothings. If you like give them beyond 2027 we will still be doing it wrongly as long as Before you know they will tell you they are not magician's. This people after stealing the nation dry without remorse come out to tell Nigerians to pray for hardship they created on the nation. What manner of pray will work when those who tell you to pray don't pray and even when they do pray it's only from their lips, for their hearts and hands acts contrary to what they speak, so tell us how does God answer such prayers? |
chidiokay:Are you sure you're not part of the average Nigerian who usually don't think and only dish out myopic perspectives of a whole broad subject..... Do you really think just fixing the refineries and all that you put up here will give anything worthwhile to the value of your naira? Whereas a greater more percentage of our livelihood and sustainability as a people are completely dependent on imported things because we are at the bottom of the food chain of stark consumers. How many sovereign nations whose currency are of real worth and value are stark consumers on all round imported items? Without proper industrialization forget about the value of the naira. Na life support the naira dey on in terms of real working economy. |
WorkTheTalk:If local production is good enough for Dangote and if he truly encourages it sincerely why has he not encouraged the FG to ensure those who are engaged in the cooking of crude oil into it's derivates be brought into the business legally rather than destroying it? After all for over the years most of the PMS and AGO used by all, comes from those are involved in oil bunkering from the creeks to the Sahel. |
WorkTheTalk:Do you eat foreign rice? |
ijustdey:If only Nigerians can just agree to stop buying just one of Dangote's product for just 30 days then he would know he is in for business. But I guess we will all just rant and rant and will continue in the vicious cycle of nonsense and absurdity. |
Kosisochukwu12:Politics of showbiz.... This people were in prison the SG did not help in any form, just because there was public outcry PBAT acted through the AG and we are all in for a show. We don't like to get it right. We just like to do whatever we like since there's no accountability and indices for measurements of standards. |
jospepper:Being POTUS is just 4 years and it's not far. He can choose to appeal the case or do whatever he feels like armstronging everyone and playing some propagandists theory of some sort. His case will be waiting for him after his tenure as POTUS and he will get his judgment where there is no immunity. |
Almiron:That's the same fufu you had in your entire head the reason you definitely did not read neither did you understand and did not comprehend before responding. Because you used your fufu Nigerian immunity head to read that's the reason you responded the way you did. Now kindly go back and read again and correct your mention. Thanks. |
fergie001:It's just nothing but four years as POTUS. Let's just hope his court cases don't give him a judgment that will make him make another history in the Guinness world book. I also hope the same Nigerians who are celebrating him don't come out here when his policies affect them. Nothing goes for nothing. Everything comes with a price. Let the citizens brace up. |
ogascomax:Nobody is fighting dirty and there's no such thing. Just because some persons are not prosecuted now does not mean they might not being future or even when they are dead. It all depends who is at the top of the leadership and the petitions being written against the governors or individuals concerned. There's nothing wrong if you have all your petitions properly filed, factual and documented about Wike or any person you feel might have towed the line of corruption. You never know when it can be valuable for use, the world will not end in the next 50 years and there's no law stating when a corrupt issue can be handled or not. |
FreeStuffsNG:No be the Okowa wey dem make VP to Atiku for the last Presidential elections and Pa Clark dey complain about the State money wey him governor spend!!!!!!!! E be like say them no share for am oOoOO for am to go write EFCC... |
Kosiso12:Atiku has never been interested in the PDP same with many others. He only comes when he wants something and not what he wants to give to the party. If he is a builder we would see in his home State, Adamawa. |
adenigga:I would really like to know how much was budgeted for the entirety of this program of events including the monies given to entertain certain dignitaries and those who would be given white envelopes or electronic transfers.... That I guess has already reduced the hardship on the benefactors. |
virginchaser:The Prince Charles Commonwealth Head of Government meeting and this meeting about coastal high way are they of the same class? Why will you make it look like it's same function. It's like a participant in the FEC meeting trying to cause some unnecessary friction which ordinary should not happen.. |
Dapromzy333:When it comes to Wike you'll see all the hate and dislike but look at Dave Umahi ordering security to walk out someone from a public event.......let those his brothers from the other side tell their brother that which he is doing is worse than Wike. I just hope one day all these politicians will meet their evil repercussions. |
CodeTemplarr:It is a shame you're are saying the bolded. I would be asking myself how did the professor come about the academic title. |
God2man2again:If your question means making them to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour, then we should take a clue from the Scriptures. At age 12 Christ Jesus was already in the temple and we all know what He was doing there. Luke.2.42 - And when He was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the feast. Luke.2.47 - And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers. Luke.2.48 - So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, "Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously." Luke.2.49 - And He said to them, "Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father's business?" From the above I'll say probably it's better a child be made known to Jesus from the age of 8. For me as a little child though I can't remember saying any of it, but it's what my mum tells me , that whenever I return home from school (this is my nursery school days) that I do normally tell her that my auntie at school says that we should tell our parents t take us to church and do it repeatedly almost every week.....this event happens during the early '80s. So if a child's life is allowed to form from the nursery school such child is taken to the church or given to a good teacher of the word that will teach the Scripture to the child and the child will have informed knowledge of Jesus Christ and God and even the Holy Spirit at an early age. So with children it varies but as long as a child is watched and such been noticed to differentiate between right and wrong and a godly child will ask certain questions that will make you know that this one is ripe to be lead to Jesus and a proper follow up is made. It is one thing to know Jesus and another thing to have a relationship with Him. Many believers fall on the knowing aspect just like the Pharisees and Sadducees.... It take the grace of God in all of these. One of the major flaws about Christianity is making someone become so religious but never ever coming to the Truth. |
Afonja44:This is just VOA reporting.... Whoever is the judge that will give death penalty to anyone of those children who protested irrespective of what they did should think well and very well....... Even PBAT and all those in power should have a rethink about this or even allowing any judge make such pronouncement........ |
nairalanda1:You say substandard fuel from Europe, I guess they have companies who do that which they can bring into Nigerian and other African countries for the vehicles we equally buy from them be it brand new and mostly second new ?The moment Dangote came into the sector has told us that his own is better and has to be expensive!!!!!! Right. Is it not abnormal that the NNPC wonia supposed to produce same is buying from another at a reduced rate and selling at very good profit margin? Dangote has refused to say the actual cost of producing the PMS, well for reasons best known to him!!! I guess we don't have to question those who also rely on said the fuel to produce their commodities why they should sell at a high price? It is only in Nigeria that home grown things are more expensive that the one imported. |
post=132696493:A police officer hospitalized due to shock in the accident he caused while driving a government vehicle? I wonder what kind of shock it would be called by the doctor and written on his file? |
JTCHI:Which of the previous governors are you referring to that he worked with as an accountant and please is it as an accountant general or accountant in the treasury department or office or which of the accounting division or department was he working from and with who? |
Ulogwe1:There's nothing to hide because there's nothing hidden. Even Wikipedia does not have anything about his past, I guess he does not want his profile to be put up. By the grace of God, I have known names of persons who come from his area and LGA right from the time of Gov. Peter Odili. Please tell me from which year did his name start making the rounds? I don't need to go to his LGA to be told this sort of thing!!!!! |
WizardOfNG:I like it when you guys come out an advocate for the government, just like those who did same for the previous administration. What has all the so called possible purported good actions brought the economy into? If care is not taken you'll see that part of their campaign policies for second tenure will be that policies needs time to gain the desired results for the betterment of all !!!!! I'm sure whoever will be bring up this selling point did not sit down and rethink before they actually protested against the PGEJ government and administration. |
Estimated billing is a huge scam that those involved needs to be killed... This is how exactly estimated billing is done in Bayelsa State....... It doesn't matter if you're out to work or in the house, it's always a constant. At the specified time, the PHED officials go to the transformer within each location, measure the power supply that was passed through the meter of the transformer and arbitrarily prepare the estimated bills for that month. This process is done every month. If you let them come into your house and they see the appliances you have they will tell you that's it's even cheaper, what they were giving you originally. Even if someone was to be indoors in his hours and would not go out , how many appliances would be using electricity constant for longer durations apart from fridge/freezer? How many hours can one watch television now that one can do a lot with his android phone? How many hours does one have to use the pressing iron for clothes? How many hours do one use washing machine and how frequent do you even use it? How many hours do you use your hot plate for heavy cooking which is regular except you dey run a restaurant? The list is endless..... But this scammers cease not to amaze us when they come with bills. Why would anyone pay bills for something not seen or even used? Though I know some people do not like to pay but how about those of us who are paying for things not seen used. There has been no light in the entire State for more than 3 months and PBAT is not aware because they said PHED is owned by a former president but the North did not see light for just 10 days but a Presidential order was given and it was rectified. |
WizardOfNG:Forget all these stories. There's no connection between having world best standard tax policies or whatever you can call it to having a world class standard of living.....This is absolutely impossible in Nigeria. A place where politicians are bigger that government institutions that are supposedly to be independent,a place where the rich and wealthy are bigger than institutions that are supposed to remand their in prison,a place where corrupt politicians who occupy government positions and institutions are not accountable and can't be held accountable for mismanagement of public funds and abuse of powers. Lastly, it's not whether the policies are perfect or world standard, the real issue is which man or woman, boy or girl is ready to do that which will make that world class standard made in Nigeria. Some of these people have been in politics since the creation of Nigeria and their villages are still living in darkness, imagine reading in the news that a community after over hundred years of existence is celebrating having a toilet built. |
Ulogwe1:If he was a politician as a civil servant that won't be hard for anyone to say out. Even in his LGA, was he known as a politician, it's not about even been a party member. Who amongst the entire political class in Rivers State were his people or who knew him to be a politician not a political commentator oOoOO OO........ There's no such thing as that the ikwere man wants to belittle the governor. The govenror himself belittled himself when he started this in-fighting. |
tundegan:Gov. Fubara will not be fine. Anyone who is double tongue and given to emotions is never fine because the issues are of great trouble and concern giving him sleepless nights. It's just like former PGEJ coming out with smiling face to tell Nigerians that he is okay with his decision about conceding defeat to PMB. Forget about the looks on people's face, there are many whose hearts are so much demonic compared to whatever anyone would accuse Wike of. There are those more wicked than Wike even though you may not hear their names spoken because those who are their puppets will remain puppets for ever. |
VikingKing:To join in a protest is not a bad idea or thing to be done. But to get yourself involved in a protest that you now become the one who destroys government property, public property, private citizens property then you should be blamed and you should blame yourself. One funny thing from the whole setup is that I never knew people who are brought to court are allowed to eat inside the court? I don't know if it's a deliberate act to give them biscuit and bottle water... |
tnerro1:You will see the difference this time around. Except they will not come out to vote. |
dre11:All that matters is that those given are Nigerians and that is all there is to it. Is it not even good that the FCT Minister who is a PDP member is giving out those vehicles to APC members if that is what you want us to believe!!! Or do you think Wike does not know those in PDP in FCT to give same. After all the palliatives PBAT administration gave to all the State governors was it not shared along party lines even after hoarding of same by the governors. |
Linkzlikz:He will only succeed in dribbling himself. Anyone who has not seen that he is deceitful then that person is blinded on all fronts. Those so-called Rivers State elders standing with him are voiceless, faceless and nameless. People whom Amaechi as governor ensured were silent till his 8 years in office complete. People whom Gov. Wike brought onboard the moment he became governor and he fed them fat with Rivers State allocation and these same people fell out with him for one reason or the other on the way along that brought in Fubara as governor. Now he thinks they are with him and that they have what it takes to back him up. Well in the voice of Wike......if e didn't dey e didn't dey. |
ddippset:Okay. Still expecting this anytime soon. Thanks. |
