GforGee: Y'all should try to understand each other and not throw jabs (I wonder why you even enjoy that ). Dru is based in USA, and every mechanic there is competent, thus making him carry the same mentality to Nigeria that any mechanic (roadside or otherwise) should be competent. My guys here for Naija knows better about Nigerian mechanics that not all are good (as a matter of fact, you have to try many to find a competent one). Since Dru have experienced lots of incompetency, he has made up his mind about certain things. I think we should see his point of view even if we don't see his point. Mr Dru, I think you should also be calming down ooh. Don't go start thinking Nigerians are incapable, no, we are not, na our leaders dey draw us back. You will be shocked at what we can do under the right circumstances and with the right tools. For example, how many mechanics do you think are able to afford a torque wrench, which they need badly They will always want to improvise. So next time, please ask those on ground and don't just condemn us, it actually makes some people agitated. And from what I've known on Nairaland since I've been visiting since about 2011 or so - No be everybody sabi take/absorb words for understanding. Baba nobody dey vex here for him, but condemning in totality is not right. |

I wonder why people belittle or condemn what they don't know. Naija no good na bad mechanic dey, if you get bad mechanic na your personality attract bad ones. Just simple physics.
There is this simple rule "Never force people not meant to be in your life in" negativity kills most of you. Possible lies in impossible so why condemn naija mechanic all to pass info here. Mechanic no good, car users na error too.
See anybody wey wan import mech come from yankee pls go ahead and stop shaming the good ones here.
Pass your info and move along, do you want me to go into details of what we Auto Tech face daily from car users, from over sabi to am enlightened.
Naso one good idiot believes watching how to fix airbag on YouTube makes him a guru till the spring fails and busted his nose or the slowpoke that thinks wiring was a piece of cake till he fumble and burn his ECU or the nigga that fixes his oil change and fail to place the rubber seal of the oil filter and thought he has done a perfect job till he was about to leave his compound and people called his attention to oil leaking underneath his car.

hvac: Thanks bro, it's Honda Accord 05 (EOD) it was scanned, and code po122 pops up That is throttle body position sensor gone bad and the signs you are getting is quite right like Common signs include lacking power when accelerating, rough or slow idle, stalling, inability to shift up, just get a mech first to get a carb cleaner to clean the Throttle body and put it back and test drive, or just get another one. But there is this VTC that actually throws up this code once in a while. Just try d first 1 out and get back to me |

hvac: My car jerks when I accelerate, I brached to a mechanic shop and he said it's spark plugs and we changed it. It started just about 3 poles away when I left the shop in onitsha. I managed the car till asaba( maintained 40k/h as you can't go beyond) another mechanic worked on it till it refused to start. We got rewire to work on it again till it started and I left with the car still jerking, went to another mechanic who confirmed it's fuel pump, he changed the fuel pump and it continues, I wanted to manage it to a nearby hotel to sleep but it quenched on the way and refused to start. Please what could be the problem? Supposed to be in Lagos now but still in Delta State. Boss specifics Like car brand and year? And if possible you can scan it? But if you can't; am suspecting multiple cylinder misfire. If that was the case then just get back to me here so I will tell you more once I know the kind of car |

Once upon a time there was a guy who after so much frustration about life got a tiny miny break through with life and had a turn around at age 45, luckily for him Nairalnad was a place of solace
This guy was abandon at a tender age due to his mother marrying out of wedlock, from 1 bad luck to another. At a point of committing suicide a good samaritan decided to help him out by making him a fleet manager at age 40. This helper happens to travel out of the country and made him a full manager at the supervision of his brother to monitor the dude and expenses.
This dude register on Nairaland by 2009 and since then all the topic he has opened or drop comment has been a true understanding of a wretched soul and empty human.
Numskull let me teach the word of God a little the last person christ called a fool was in Luke 12 and he talkeda a rich man who finds his success as an outcome of his his hardwork.
The definition of been rich can be split into different term like having 11 Corolla, having a successful career or driving the nicest truck or anything we term riches. Which is different from wealth. But further into verse 21; he stated it that he was rich not towards God, since salvation can't be bought by a Corolla then my jigga your foolishness is next to none.
Thinking anybody that is not rich in your term is a lazy person or a beggar. Baba your foolishness is at biblical proportion.

For the records, people should see the comment that is causing wahala oo.
I made it clear in that comment that I even heard he has body odour and smells a lot too.
This implies that this was heard from someone.
Infact, it is was someone from this thread that was describing him. I got the person's contact from his profile and called him to ask him something important regarding an issue with my car. Our discussions delved into "if I should get a mechanic from the ones we have on Nairaland".
He started describing them one by one for me. Infact the person said Gazzuzz is the only one that knows what he is doing but his work is very expensive and over inflated in price.
When I now asked him about the other one... He started saying terrible things based on his encounter with him. That he is fat, that he is this and that... Being that I was trolling, I decided to use it and make fun.
My hands dey clean oo.
Abeg peace everywhere... 2021 is coming. Peace everywhere. Nigga mention the person here..... |
