dober:No online report, just the hard copy. |
MrsM:Hi, it's the same cost if you send just one or if you send the two certificates so I advise you send both. Cheers. |
smartmum:You can reach them via this email address, cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc but I believe you should send your entire package back to them by courier with a cover letter explaining what you observed and requesting them to review again as earlier advised. All the best. |
labiz001:Hi, all the info, required steps and other links needed are here, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/index.asp With this, he is on the way to Express Entry, all the best. |
Monjay:Hi, for online payments, please use this link, https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en You register at the location, make your payment with your card and a receipt is instantly generated and sent to your email. Print the receipt and add to the documents you are sending to AVO in respect of your baby. Cheers. |
Kirri:Yes please, this is to increase your chances of receiving a successful nomination but be aware that all your applications will be saved in the general CIC database and they will be available for all the provinces to see. An applicant was recently asked by province A why they should nominate him when he also applied to Province B. In the end, they did not nominate him. Just be prepared for what may happen either way, cheers. |
unibadan:Hi, CIC usually attempts to debit cards across 4 to 6 days. So your card will be tried again however, you can update CIC to retry using a CSE and explain the circumstance, https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx |
oladeleadebayo1:Hi, first thing is to determine in detail if you qualify for Federal Skilled Worker category through Express Entry program. This link will help you, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp |
livepluslife:You have said it yourself, you need at least 1 year full time work experience in an eligible NOC to be considered. If you can get an employment reference letter that says you worked as marketing/sales manager for at least a year, you're good to go. |
livepluslife:Hi, fill in both occupational classes but you can only indicate one on the basis of which your application will be assessed. |
ejirostephen:Hi, you can fill in your B. Sc but you wont get any points for it since it was not evaluated. |
unibadan:Hi, you were rather fortunate that he even agreed to check the system and confirmed that your application was captured. Most times, they just tell people to send an email and end the call. Ofcourse, they take forever to reply the email (one week to six weeks if at all) and it's only to say your application is under review. You could try to get GCMS notes on your file but it takes about 6 weeks to get feedback and it may tell you the same thing you just found out on the phone! I would say you should just relax and spend this time doing other stuff like researching more about Canadian certifications in your field of work, the province where you will live and generally how you can prepare for the road ahead. That's what I did and it worked out well ![]() |
Marlicque:Hi, you have already answered your question by highlighting the fact your girlfriend boxed herself into a corner by using her POF instead of keeping strictly for the purpose for which it is intended. Yes, we all have financial challenges and need funds for everyday living but the priority of the FSW application should be upper most in our minds so it's best to leave your POF jeje and solve your financial needs fro other sources until you get your PR visa. Since any bulk inflows or little but rapid credits into her bank account statement now will immediately arouse suspicion, I would suggest fixing the money immediately in fixed deposit and sending the FD certificate to AVO. It's not foolproof but it's what I can advise. Just back it up with prayers. Ofcourse, if anyone has a better solution, you're welcome to try it but take note, time is ticking. All the best. |
opilekzy:Hi, see above. Cheers ![]() |

smartmum:Hi, permit me to say that you should have received PER by now. If you have not, you can request for a status update using a Case Specific Enquiry at this link, https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx All the best ![]() |
@damkollins, hi chief. Just a heads up, we'll be seeing sooner than earlier planned. Still work on that stuff o, lol. You are the Moses of the times and must lead all to the promised land. ![]() |
Hey guys, just found this topic on Nairaland. It's the Microsoft Office competion, a good idea for those of us who have younger ones we wish to encourage in getting into tech, https://www.nairaland.com/1941430/olubunmi-agusto-emerges-first-nigerian#27190301 I happen to know the previous winner and can vouch that it's real. |
This is a good initiative to engender and encourage tech interest in our youths. I guess that is why it is targeted at those under 22 years before they get swallowed up by the distracting Facebook and Twitter culture. Kudos to the competition organisers, ReadManna. I will follow the competition closely. |
Well, until the ink dries on that deal between Coca Cola and Fifty, Diddy remains the richest. What with his Bad Boy Entertainment group which includes his record label and production company,(Bad Boy Records/Hitmen), his Sean John Clothing line, his restaurant chain (Justin's), his production deals with MTV, (that brought you Making the band among others), the guy is just churning out money faster than he can count it! |

Jazzman Olofin's new album, "Mr. Funky". |
Missy started out as a great songwriter for other groups like SWV, 702 and Aaliyah then showed her creative talent as a producer before she shined as a rapper and singer. Who can forget her "Supa dupa fly" album with such bangers as " Can't stand the rain"? Then she let us have it again with "She's a bitch" and "all in my grill" on her follow up album. "Get your freak on" was a new kind of production effort where she began to experiment her sound and though we liked it, we could feel her moving away from us and into her own zone. Her album "Under construction" was a project that personally I feel should never have been attempted although it did have some standouts such as "Work it". Sadly, after this it all began to go downhill as far as I can tell 'because for the life of me I don't understand the beats she's been cranking out since for herself. Cookbook was the final straw! Missy has lost it. But then, that's only my opinion. What's yours? |
Rather unfortunate that Nwoke has such poor musical appreciation. But then he is certainly entitled to his taste or lack of it. Dare's album is revolutionary. It's arguably the first time a Nigerian musician has released a full lenght album that caters to various tastes and blends different genres of music. The album has something for everyone. Well, almost everyone. "Escalade" is a ballad that talks of a young man's desire to have a meaningful relationship with a lady regardless of his small cash flow. "Young man", the single previously released several years ago, is a solid rap song, was a club favourite too. "Fuji" was a daring surprise to me but if you understand yoruba or appreciate fuji music, you'll feel this track for real especially with it's hip hop twist. "Eko Ile" is a salute to Lagos and life in this great city. Even if you weren't born and bred here, you can still relate to the stories about "Eko" as sung by various artistes on Storm Records (Storm Records All-Stars). "Escalade Part 2" is a club jam and also good for cranking out of your car stereo. I played this song at high volume while driving through Surulere and got much love and saw lots of bobbing heads just feeling this great remix. Never used to like Dare 'cos I used to percieve him as vain but with this album, all is forgiven. |
Sorry, all First Inland bank tests and interviews are by invitation only. Infact, they don't take more than twenty five people in a recruitment batch. If you were not invited for a recruitment exercise, don't bother to waste your transport fare and time. They don't believe in an "all-comers" affair. If you haven't got your NYSC discharge or exemption certificate, be patient and wait for your time. Those who have, just submit your sealed CV addresed to the "Group Head, People Management Group, Head Office, Lagos at any of the branches and pray! Tests/Interviews are held in Lagos, Port Harcourt or Abuja. It is advisable to do your hustling in these locations as well as for jobs in other banks because this is where most organisations have their regional offices. Mohammmed has to go to the mountain 'because the mountain sure aint moving nowhere! |
Hello eveseh, thanks for the welcome. And hi to you too, dominobaby. Nice to meet you and by the way, I'm black as I wanna be, lol. Take care. |
Zahymaka, I see you're here again and controversy seems to have followed you too. But since you seem to have worked things out with Senisho, I'll shut up on that count. Anyway, does anyone here play PS games passionately? I'm into Need for Speed: Underground now. I'm also feeling Die Hard Trilogy. Ofcourse, I can't leave without paying my respects to that ultimate of beat-'em-ups, Tekken. |
This is really a non-issue. Your ex is most likely to get married after you break up for whatever reason to someone else. That she/he got married to someone close to you just underscores the fact that it's a small world. At this point, just search your self and see if you really need to keep up a relationship with them. If things are amicable all round, then you can maintain contact. But if things were messy in the past and are likely to adversely influence the present, respect yourself and keep your distance. Bow Wow would look good with Jojo and Ciara would look good with Fat Man Scoob! What do y'all think? |
