Oh and about the "you can't sustain your populations comment", you should read more news coming from this continent instead of spreading your ignorance around for everyone to see. All over Africa there has been a substantial increase in agricultural yields, with some countries (ie. Malawi) having food surpluses, which allow them to donate or sell to neighboring countries. In the more arid countries, there is now a lot of transfer of technology coming from countries such as Israel (I don't like them, but they are damn good at efficient farming) and Turkey, allowing these nations to achieve large crop yields without using many resources. Commercial agriculture is an important sector to watch too, billions of dollars in foreign direct investment have been poured into numerous African nations, and in the years to come expect many more surpluses. Many have described these recent strides as the beginning of Africa's green revolution.

Africa also has some of the worlds fastest growing economies, with big gains in jobs and improvement in many social areas like education, health, sanitation, etc. While most of Europe is in a recession, Africa is growing:

As you can see, the list of growing economies is dominated by Sub-Saharan nations, while the ones in negative growth are dominated by European nations. Many prominent economist say Africa is in the stage Asia was in during the 80s, which suggests in a few years Africa will be seeing a HUGE economic revolution, which will in turn lead us to industrialization.

New Zealand and Australia are doing pretty well though. The economies in these two countries are growing steady, and they are both actively trying to attract immigrants.
