PoliticsDeclaring The Winners Of Nairaland Tribal Fights by Blackteeth(op): 8:35pm On Aug 31, 2012
If a winner is not declared in a fight that means the contest still rages on. I think at this point the neutral judges should announce the winner between the Igbo and yoruba tribal warriors if actually the final result is what will put an end to the fight.

As someone who is neither a yoruba nor an igbo, I think am qualifed to speak as a judge to declare the yoruba tribal worriors the winners of the age long tribal fight on nairaland after I considered which of the two groups of warriors have been dishing out heavier and more jaw breaking punches.

At this piont I call up upon team yoruba warriors to come forward and recieve their gold medals.

Now the winners have been declared, can the closing ceremony begin?

PoliticsThe Answer To Nigeria's Hatred For Coins by Blackteeth(op): 5:49pm On Aug 26, 2012
A lot of us are complaining about the upcoming transformation of N5, N10, and N20 to coins, but I really don't see any valid reason whatsoever to complain about the new coins coming up soon. I have always said that Nigerians always expect the government to help them when they are not willing to help themselves either, and this coins issue is classic example.
Since the government doesn't care about us by deciding to place on us the inconvenience of lifting coins around then why cant we look for means to counteract the coins inconvenience? We all accept the fact that carrying stacks of coins in your pockets together with your phones is annoying, but someone can design a special kind of wallet that can flatten and conveniently house as many coins as possible and still make it fit conveniently and quietly in your pockets like coins doesn't exist. At least the coin friendly wallet would sell well enough for the designer and craftsman. Even a small hand wrist belt can be designed and crafted to house coins around its circumference conveniently. So what is the complaints all about?
As for ladies, they have no excuse not to use the coins at all cos the hand bags they carry about has excess room for it. If the hand bags become too heavy to carry about due to the coins, then ladies will have to consider dropping the 2 blackberries, mirrors, lipstick and powder they put in those bags, cos this time around we all have to use this coins unlike the fate of the previous ones, or else we will suffer for it.

PoliticsWill The New N5000 Note Increase The Activites Of Armed Robbers? by Blackteeth(op): 1:04pm On Aug 25, 2012
After the new N5000 note has been introduced, armed robbers will realize that it has been made easier and encouraging for people to carry large sums of money in pockets, purses and little bags. This implies that these robbers will be more tempted to strike more often with the hope of hitting a jackpot in a single strike. Is this not possible?

When you see a nice car you like for the first time, you can say: I LOVE THAT CAR! So that means I lust for the car. Lol. Why cant I also say "WOW I LOVE THAT GIRL" when I see a lovely lady for the first time?

No one can leave nairaland cos of frontage. By the time 50 more picture threads are sent to the frontpage posters will get used to it and stop complaining and the price of garri will reduce.

ocelot2006: And why can't the govt seal up the bridge till it's fully repaired?
And your comment also shows why I said Nigerians are not helping themseves. Are you waiting for govt to seal the bridge before you stop using it? One of the problems Nigerians have is that they over rely on government for everything. The masses should cooperate and seal the brigde themselves
TravelRe: Sadiku Bus-stop, Lagos "Killer" Pedestrian-Bridge (WITH PHOTOS) by Blackteeth(m): 2:03pm On Aug 11, 2012
And people still walk on it. When it collaspes and people die, the government will be accused of killing them. Why cant these folks stay away from the brigde since the authourity doesnt want to intervene? It is true that the government has been ineffective but the citizens are not helping themselves either.

PoliticsRe: Why is the london olympics painting a political and ecomomic story? by Blackteeth(op): 7:23am On Aug 09, 2012
bokohalal: More about the individual than the country's political or economic life.

What to say about Jamaica,Kenya or Ethiopia? They must be awash with billions of dollars and everyone is wealthy.

Scandinavia and petro-dollar rich Gulf states?
I mean the top 10 nations in the table with the most medals. Though it doesnt accurately conform to what am trying to say.
PoliticsWhy is the london olympics painting a political and ecomomic story? by Blackteeth(op): 12:04am On Aug 09, 2012
If you check the london olympics medals table you will discover that the countries grabbing most medals are those with a good level of economic and political stability, while countries such as Nigeria with almost zero stability are yet to get a medal. China and the united states are currently leading the medals table and this is a reflection of the political and economic rivalry between these two nations. Can anyone explain this?
RomanceRe: What Will Ladies Do In A Situation Like This? by Blackteeth(op): 7:58pm On Aug 08, 2012
ogugua88: Well, looks aren't everything to me. I don't give out compliments and I don't let compliments that I have received faze me. I enjoy a person's character and love debating an array of topics. I can be deceptive myself, so whoever's trying to deceive me may jam wahala.

I don't want to say that a woman who falls into such is weak, but after a while, some things make themselves obvious. Like I said earlier, if a guy is treating her how a caring boyfriend should, or how she expects him to treat her, then she's not losing in the situation at all.
You talk as if you can never fall into such but you are wrong. I didnt mention anything about looks or compliments. If you check the character, Someone can have a good outward character but may still not be sincere in his heart. But how would you know someones mind intentions well concealed? You can't.

Eleven contestants are coming to Times Square for the annual competition Wednesday afternoon. The winner gets $50,000. Competitors range from 16 to 24 years old. Last year's champion Austin Weirschke is coming back to defend his title.
The competition tests three skills: speed, accuracy and dexterity. There are three rounds to the competition: texting while blind-folded, texting with hands behind their backs and Text Blitz, where phrases are shown to the contestants for a length of time and they have to copy them as fast as they can.
The competition is sponsored by LG Electronics.

RomanceRe: What Will Ladies Do In A Situation Like This? by Blackteeth(op):
ogugua88: How could a woman be in a relationship for three years and not know his true intentions? The only way for him to feign something of such nature is to immerse himself in an actual relationship with the woman, or at least be willing to deal with her, as in treating her, spending time, etc., just so that he could proceed to intimacy. I wouldn't catch myself in such a situation, but I'd be more than understanding of a woman who decides to remain in such a relationship. Three years no be beans. Just as he's working hard to have money to make her comfortable, she's putting in her own work to keep him satisfied, albeit her office na for bedroom lol.
What makes you think you can never fall into such a situation? How would you know his true intentions if it is well disguised? Are you a woman of God who sees into people's minds?
