I visit this programming section sometimes to check out any products by our nairaland guys who call themselves programmers, but haven't found any products yet since inception. Why has it been so? Is this place just for discussion or what?

The guy may call her cheap at the start, but at the long run he would be amazed when he sees something different. I bet the guy will fully respect the lady afterwards for her display of courage.

With simple observation and consideration, one can see that if an average looking guy desires and toasts 10 ladies chosen at random, he may succeed in getting about 3 of the 10 ladies. whether the 3 ladies love him or not is irrelevant here. But if an average looking lady desires and toasts 10 guys chosen at random, she would definitely get about 8 of the 10 guys. Whether the 8 guys love her or not is also irrelevant here too. At least she got whom she wanted. So why are some ladies still single and frustrated when its very much easier for them to get any man they toast? And why are ladies scared of toasting a man when there is no record of men insulting ladies who toast them? Unlike the heap of records of ladies insulting male toasters. Ladies would say its because the society banned them from toasting guys, but again if an average looking lady toasts 10 guys who believes a lady should not toast guys, I bet the lady would still get about 6 of these 10 guys. So what are we talking about?

Am against women empowerment via placements in high positions because it doesn't help to distribute wealth among the population. Wealthy women stay single or still marry wealthy men and depend on them therefore accumulating wealth for themselves. But if you give a man that position he can marry a poor jobless lady and pull her out of poverty. But this is not the case with a wealthy woman in that position.
Women should simply be in the kitchen pounding fufu and changing the baby's nappies at home.

The yorubas are currently boasting of being peacefull people partly because they make no noise like the igbos about secession from Nigeria. But I think we are missing something. If today the northerners start killing the yorubas massively in the north I can bet pounds and dollars that a yoruba kind of MOSSOB will spring up with full speed and start clamouring for secession. Biafria is obviously the product of the mass killing of igbos in the north. They igbos felt since they are not wanted, they have to go. If the northerners haven't been busy killing the igbos am sure igbos would have been as"peaceful"as the yorubas, and biafra would have been a non-existent name on planet earth today.

Ehm. . . Don't we think ladies should be more wealthier than men when we consider the following factor:
Men only work in jobs and private businesses to make their money.
When it comes to ladies, many ladies also work in high places and also own businesses. But unlike men they still wholely or partially depend and extract money from men which adds to the ones they got from their job and business hussles. Most wealthy women I have known still married wealthy men who take care of them.
So ladies can you tell us where you have been banking your surplus money? And what do you do with it?

Poster, I think its because you spray the insecticide widely and randomly as its done the traditional method. There are chances the insecticides will miss the mosquitos in their hideouts.
Personally, I locate the individual mosquitos in the air or at rest with a bright spot torchlight and spray DIRECTLY on them. No furcking jazz mosquito will survive a direct spray. Besides get a window net if you don't have it.

This thread is not rocket science to understand.
The fact remains that the millions these pastors rake in from the congregation is in excess of what is required to run the church. The church only needs money for building maintainance, running programs and purchasing some equipments. Apart from these mentioned, the rest should go to the needy. A pastor should have a job and feed himself. Why would pastors who call themselves men of God hold millions of excess ideal money to waste on themselves when there are lots of needy people out there? If those billions are used to help the needy in this country, a big impact will surely be made.
