Timfreds: I agree. However if you love your wife and respect her and respect women generally, you will not deliberately cheat 3 Likes |

Olifiz: Not in all cases. If for instance the guy goes out with his friends for drinks and say his drink is spiked and he messes up, it's still cheating, but it's not necessarily deliberate |
Romance / Re: Lady Dumps Man Who Wants To Marry Her Because He Can't Cook, Leaks Their Chat by blackweaver(m): 9:51am On May 14, 2018 |
I don't think her issue is about whether or not he can cook. I think the issue is the fact that he says that because he's a man the question is irrelevant. Basically he's implying that she will do all the cooking if they get married, she's a medical doctor and there'll be times she'll work round the clock. For him to expect her to cook for him all the time doesn't make sense. If he said he can't cook because he never learned but he would have no issue with learning, it would have been a different case entirely. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Has anyone tried Manjaro Linux before? It seems to be the new popular linux distro on distrowatch. I'm thinking of checking it out to see if it's worth all the hype 1 Like |

neezar: In that case, go for the Samsung Galaxy j3 2016 if you can get it. I will always take 1.5gb ram over 1gb, unless you want to risk lagging after some time has passed |
Phones / Re: Android, Anyone? Part II by blackweaver(m): 3:44pm On Apr 19, 2018 |
neezar: Are you based in Lagos or planning to come to Lagos? What's your budget like? In slot the Nokia 2 is roughly about 32k, but if you can afford it, I would recommend that you go for the Moto E4 instead, while on Jumia you can get the Nokia 2 for 31k5, you can get the Moto E4 for about 36k and it comes with 2gb ram as opposed to the 1gb ram on the nokia 2. If however you cannot afford the extra money, you might as well buy the moto c plus on jumia, it costs about the same, has similar specs and is easier to root, or even go for the samsung j3 2016, at least that one has 1.5gb of ram and costs about the same. I don't know about costs outside lagos though |

Food / Re: "I Have Been Eating Plastic Rice For 2 Months; Be Careful" - Lady Cries Out by blackweaver(m): 5:34pm On Feb 22, 2018 |
This is how people will be spreading alarm without doing their research properly. Plastic rice for 2 months and your body won't know it? Anyway I did a quick search and it turns out that the "plastic rice" story is a hoax. Even BBC talks about it: http://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-40484135 |

MrGoogleHead11: You could search jumia/konga if there's any usb ethernet/wifi card or sound card. But i'm really surprised that none of those things are working. Are you sure it isn't a hardware issue? ok it seems to be a valid issue. Folarinibrahim1: 1. Xfce is as good as any other ui, and yes it's less unfamiliar than say gnome3 if you're coming from windows. 2. Yes, mint is compatible with ubuntu and they are more or less the same with minor differences that probably won't matter to you. You can install ubuntu packages on mint. In fact you could alter your software repo to point to ubuntu's repo without any significant repercussions - until you decide to upgrade to another version |

Family / Re: Who Is To Wash The Dishes In This Scenario? by blackweaver(m): 5:54pm On Jan 04, 2018 |
RabbiDoracle: I like your statement. In fact the first question I would ask is who would wash the dishes if fiancee wasn't there? If it is mum and sister, then if fiancee stays back while they are washing, that is a warning sign of trouble to come. Nobody should have to tell her to join the ladies in the kitchen - unless they explicitly tell her not to bother |
Family / Re: Who Is To Wash The Dishes In This Scenario? by blackweaver(m): 6:20pm On Jan 03, 2018 |
All the women should carry their discussion to the kitchen, they will decide who does the washing or maybe take turns among themselves. Or maybe the men can do the washing instead. |
