my dear i feel u totally. What u described was me in the first few weeks of us living together bearing in mind i was 4 months pregnant by then. I would clean and clean and be so fagged out at the end of the day cos he was just too dirty. Yet when he came home he would ask what have u been doing all day. No matter what i said it was, so what else did u do, watch Africa Magic?

When i resumed work that month, it was worse. I stopped feeling bad about it. I will even join him in the parlour and we will browse, watch films and gist. Let the house catch fire 4 all i care, this life is only once. I will clean only when i am up to it and not the whole house. He doesn't mind. I no fit kill myself. When MIL comes around, she brings her househelp and he cleans the house from top to bottom.

Appreciate the ones he does and forget the rest. Its a woman's life to carry such burdens. Spend time with him and leave housework for a bit. I would rather have baby any day than an autocrat. Don't just send him on errands, do stuff together and make it a happy time. Make him look forward to coming home not drinking himself to stupor at a bar with the excuse that he is waiting for traffic to reduce.

I have never given a thought to this issue before. My parents were from the same village so it never came up and my husband and i are from the same state. As for village, i answer whichever one takes my fancy or suits my purpose at that time. If i am talking to an acquaintance/stranger, i say my husband's village. If its someone i know very well or its for official purposes, its my village.

Actually, i think i always say my village.

Why in the middle of the night? I woke up by 4 to check the news and was so sad that i could not get back to sleep. Funnily enough, the roads were free except VI. They should at least have given us one day of strike.

First, how can u be with a man for 9 yrs and he ends up dumping u? If she had a really great character, u think the guy wont have been convinced to marry her a long time ago?

Second, I don't understand women who eat themselves to a stupor. I have never been fat and will never be. Even when i was pregnant, i was never big cos i took care of myself and my little baby.

Now, i have taken a chill pill, i kind of understand where the op is coming from.
It is upsetting that ladies don't know how to take care of themselves.

However, what is paining me so much is that he wasted 9 yrs of her life. How can u date someone for 9yrs and not marry the person?!!!

I think i know the op and the lady is too big. She needs to reduce now or start flying business class cos she cant enter economy class seats.

The young baby is what we call "Obski" as in obstruction. Move him to his own crib first then when he gets used to it, let him sleep in his own room. Do u want a 5 yr old running in while u and madam are trying for a second kid?

My baby is 4 months but he sleeps in his own crib though in the same room. It was initially that he used to sleep in our bed but when i noticed that his "obski" was getting too much, bought a mosquito net and moved him straight. I even give him very light custard so he will sleep very well @ night.

About the school, i think u av gotten the best advise. Also, ur wife can teach him a little at home.

It depends on your tribe. For Igbos, the woman's mother comes but for Yoruba's, the man's mother comes. Also, if any of the mother's is not able to come, the other mother can do so.
