SA Goddess:
She praised the husband and then talked about the lazy guy she dated before she met her man. . . .  .did I miss something?
I know that she praised her husband in that quote, that was what i was trying to bring out.
Now in this thread, she makes him sound inadequate and dat if she lets go the whole world will collapse.
okay let me modify my post so u will understand.

@ Tosinville: I married my husband out of love not because of his money cos I was doing very well on my own prior to our meeting. But I had to marry a man that can take care of me and my family. And am sure that was part of the reasons he married me as well cos we can HELP each other out in dry patches.

I will never leave my husband if anything was to happen to him finacially cos I know he is not a lazy man he can take care of his family and bring the bread home. If he is able which he does to it entirity. Am probably one of the lucky ones my husband will clean the streets if it means putting food on the table for his family. That is a man.

I once dated a poor man, what an absolute bore - this guy was lazy and that was the genesis of his poverty. At first I thought love will do it, Hell No, it wasnt happening always angry for ever miserable life wasnt treating him right and all the jobs he could find werent good enough and all the ones he wanted he couldnt do I mean honestly he did not have a clue.

We couldnt go out cause he didnt have money I was always footing his bills. At this point honestly men you loose your respect
I am not one to usually point fingers but you do upset me.
Your husband is ready to do anything for you and your kids but you are not?
See who is calling someone lazy.

ebonyvibe:
@Tink sh: I dont think my children will love me if they couldnt attend the best schools, dont think my husband will be too happy either if he was to come to an magnificantly clean house but still no food on the table cos all his salary has gone to paying bills and there isnt any food in the fridge not to talk of cooked food. Oh by the way we might not have gas as the supply might have been cut off.

I have three kids, two are in boarding schools and I take my annual leave when they are on vacation my youngest is five and is well looked after. My mum comes in the morning to look after him before school and his father picks him up when he is coming home from work. I spend all the weekend with him that is my system.
I wish you the best sha. My prayer is that your husband will get a better job so he wont be feeling inadequate (the way you are trying to paint him out to be).
Maybe then you won't be feeling that without that your job that his world will collapse.
Help him enjoy some dividends of married life, na.

I know that i would av used that ATM card and withdrawn as much as i can and put it into another account.
When the owner comes to look for it, i will return it.
If no one comes, i will keep the money and spend it very well.

I don't really know much about cars but let me share my personal experience with this devil baby boy.
My husband bought that car for N1.7m and from day 1 we av not had peace.
It was always one problem followed by another.
The last was this gear box thingy.
He had just changed the transmission fluid and done all round servicing cos of the last problem it had.
He had to buy a new gear box fo N140k.
It was this dat made us sell it for a paltry N800k.
Now, we have a brand new car.

No more tokunbo and no more Hondas by God's grace.

What is funny is dat chicks say don't tell him while guys say go ahead and tell him.
I think you should tell him since she has refused to tell him.
If he decides to go ahead with the relationship at least ur conscience will be clear.

In my area in Surulere, my husband told me that for the past 2 weeks, NO LIGHT AT ALL.
One of the reasons i was happy to move to Surulere was cos of the almost 24 hrs light in my area.
But since GEJ, light has progressively gotten worse till now we don't av light at all.
I am not looking forward to going home at all.

Its ridiculous that he can afford such while ordinary shareholders are being hounded to repay the loans we took to buy shares in his bank.

Money that he stole and can now use to buy his way out of jail.

Nigerian Woman Dies On Delta Airline Flight From Lagos

A 57-year-old Nigerian woman died today on a Delta airline flight from Lagos to Atlanta. The woman died about an hour before Delta flight 53 was scheduled to land at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation told Saharareporters that the woman's body was brought into their office this morning for autopsy. He declined to disclose the identity of the dead passenger, referring us, instead, to the FBI field officer Steve Schmidt, who is in charge of the investigations. However, the FBI field officer said they won't be commenting on the case since it was apparent that there was no foul play in the death of the passenger.

Delta airline has similarly refused to disclose the identity of the passenger, or the circumstances in which she died.

Abeg let us hear word. As if guys don't do it with their own guys.
My husband is very generous and some guys like to take advantage of it.
We will all go to Natives and they will order Chiken Nkwobi, 5 rounds of beer, etc.
When time reach to pay, na only me and my husband go dey table (na den dem go answer long phone call or dissapear inside toilet).
Some might contribute N500 as if one bottle of Odeku on the island is N500.

Even if chics do it, when u see guys doing it it is so sad.

I want to be the kind of MIL mine is to me.
That way, if my son should ask if his mum can come even if it is not for health reasons, she will jump at it.
Maybe cos i saw my grandma interfere so much in my parents marriage that i am very adamant on no external forces in my marriage.
When my dad put his foot down, my grandma did all manner of manipulations to get my dad to throw out my mum cos of her.
Thank God for Christ cos it was Christ that made them stand together during that trying period.
From her own experiences, my mum finds it difficult to even ask how things r in our marriage and rebukes me if i even complain for 1 sec.

My MIL had a MIL that showed her so much love and would always cook for her and buy her gifts and that is what she does for me.
U think if any of these 2 women want to come and stay that either my husband or i will kick against it? NOWAY.
This is cos they have proved dat they want BOTH our success not just their own child.
Cos they av come to realise once both are happy, the child in question will be happy.
