Kaysalas: Why are you beating about the bush? The question bothered on him being a net importer, thereby making him an antithesis of some kind, when he claimed consumption to production mantra. And he went ahead and said he only imports 25%, how is that a logical answer to the question? If already 75% of his wares are locally produced, why the move Nigeria from consumption to production mantra? Reason my friend, reason! I thought we were still on the matter of prisons. Is Peter Obi the only distributor in Nigeria? I don't get your point. You don't think we need to move from consumption to production? |

Kaysalas: Maybe I missed it, the question again was ; you have been accused of being the biggest net importer, isn't that a contradiction when you say you are gonna move the country from consumption to production (rephrased to the best of my ability as I nor get time to watch again), kindly highlight succinct and cogent response from what Obi said here. I dey wait Last response on this as I really don't like repeating myself. Rufai's question started as a rebuttal to his earlier response on agriculture. Rufai mentioned it wasn't that easy because of bandits and criminality before going on to ask the question on him being an importer. He has answered the criminality question and then gone on to talk about him being an importer. It's how conversations work. |

Kaysalas: So for your mind, what Obi said is a logical answer to the question asked. Please, take a piece of paper and write down the Question he was asked about being a big net importer, then listen to his defense again. Then judge objectively if this Obi get sense It was a very logical answer. He likes to give context before he gives an answer and that's okay. He answered the security question first and then the allegations of him being an importer and so how will he say he will move the country from consumption to importation. It was a very good response. |

Criminals exist in society because some people like to cut corners.
Norway despite its wealth and equitable distribution of wealth still has criminals and prisoners. Yes, but in Nigeria, a lot of the criminality is also people looking for their daily bread. |

karnafiu03: I personally watched the program...that was his answer, I actually don't know why he diverted the question though. You can download the complete interview online. Please listen to it for yourself. From 33mins. He answered the security question first. He said he went to the prisons and saw people in jail for 30k, 50k meaning if they had something productive to do it would reduce criminality. They would be part of the people earning income. On the issue of his importation, he was a distributor when he was in business. He has also invested in manufacturing. He distributed many things including manufactured goods etc. That only 25% of his operations was imports, the rest were local. He supplied everyone including Nduka Obaigbena, Thisday Chairman. He was a major distributor for Coca-Cola. Don't just listen to soundbites that people share for whatever purpose, research for yourself. |

Keep up with your cut and join videos. You cut the first part of Rufai's question that mentioned insecurity. You cut the remaining part of Obi's answer where he started with how people were in prisons for petty amounts which could be solved by them having something productive that brings income and would reduce insecurity. And then he answered the rest of the question. blank: Please listen to it for yourself.

Pls what’s your take, can I have this girl to myself or is still the shout of quit? Marriage is not all about kids. If you want kids with her, there are medical procedures that will ensure your kids are AA or AS. But it will cost money. Don't bring an SS child into this world. It's not fair on the child. |

The MPs have elected him, will the public? Remember, the conservative party members were not going to vote for him if Boris had made it to the ballot.
The video below sums up whay Phy123 was talikng about. Let's stop living in denial. I don't agree. Boris got 102 nominations while Sunak got 177. With more nominations than Boris, means that more Tory MPs wanted him as PM than Boris. If he is able to turn the economy around post Brexit, he will win any general elections called. Right now, no Tory PM will win if an election is called. |

It’s obvious we are heading for doom with our over dependence on oil but someone is telling us how we can make headway from agriculture but some people who have been programmed to wail even if it will help them start mocking tinubu
This is what reasonable people also feel about it Let's not play fast and loose with the facts. Tinubu was talking about eating corn while we want to move from the base of raw materials and start refining and manufacturing. That's the only way to actually compete and reduce dependence on oil. |

Gemma11: The highest is 45% and it is tiered like this. You know that the tax on the higher bands is on incremental income and not the entire income? For example, if you earn 120k, income below 50k is taxed at 20%, income from 51k is taxed at 40%. It would be better to talk about the effective tax rate which is more like the average of the rates for your income band as that is closer to reality. |

progress160: Hello guys. I have a serious issue. I arrived the UK few weeks ago. My employer wanted to give me the company car today for visiting clients and told a south African guy to accompany me to test my driving. It was quite different from the manual car i drove in naija and I had issues putting it in gear one. The guy just looked at me for close to ten minutes as I tried to put it in gear one in the roads in and afterwards he shouted on me to come down tgat that he is going to report me to the office that I can't drive. He drove to the office and worked in to discuss with the boss. My boss didn't wait to hear from me and said I have to go back to my country since I can't drive. I insisted I can drive. She said she can't enter the car to test my driving but my manager convinced her to and joined at the back. She however explained how to put it in gear one and I drove them for a short distance.
She said I should come and drive her husband round the city tomorrow to prove my driving prowess. She insisted i get a car immediately and said my case will be determined tomorrow.
I heard the SA guy is bringing his sister-in-law to the company. Don't know what to think right now or what to say to them tomorrow. I need advice Can you not tell her to give you time to get your UK manual car license so you can use that time to go to a driving school? Been a long time I drove manual and I don't think I can still drive one |
