I think the school agents of this schools should inform students before embarking on a journey, where job is not guarantee and not just concern about hitting sales. Also discrimination, and pretence. i think Canada is better off in my own opinion. just think and way your options before u jakpa and come back to square 1. All this money if you have it please kindly invest back home because i see it has just wasting it over there.
I said this earlier as well when I said I regretted doing a Master's in UK. Total waste of time and money. School in a country that would give you the opportunity to emigrate.

People that it works for are medical people, Big 4 accountants, IT people.

You should have also added that the rent for the place is taken out of their paychecks. They don't live there for free. And they have to pay from their own pockets for any upgrades to the residence above $100k per term.

They pay for their own groceries, dry cleaning, designer clothes, even gifts for foreign dignitaries.

Cousin9999:
These don't even appear to be cops. They're mall security. She's about to own the mall.
I know the full story. She's been banned from coming to that mall but came there and was harassing people in a pharmacy to buy her tea. They reported and those ones called police. Police asked her to leave and she refused. Female police officer grabbed her by the hand and insisted she left. She grabbed the woman's hair and started a fight. That's how she got a swollen eye.

She's been going round joining some Nigerian WhatsApp groups and everyone has been condemning her attitude and her for fighting. She's trying to raise money but no one is giving enough.

She comes across as very aggressive and combative and is still going back to the same mall that she's been banned from.

Oyinbos are demonic.

But people will be fired and charged behind this. And she will win a law$uit.

They also need to charge the people that call the police. There's no way this was just a random encounter. It's a combination of rëtards in the community who call the cops with false reports or purely out of racism, and then their fellow rëtards swoop in.
She will lose badly because even by her own admission, she grabbed and was pulling the police officer's hair and refused to let go when asked by bystanders.
Celebrities › Re: Depp Vs Heard: Between An Abused Victim And A Victimised Abuser by blank(f): 1:11pm On Jun 03, 2022
I was tempted to believe same until I heard the recordings for myself. Did you know that there's a recording of what happened in Australia only that it wasn't allowed into the trial because one of the major participants was dead and it would be hearsay? If you listen to the recording, you'll see that the version of events tallies with what Depp said and not Amber's version. Also, it shows that she was afraid she'll be arrested for assault.

Did you listen to the other voice recordings where Amber was talking about punching him and also telling him that no one would believe he is a DV victim? Did you read Jennifer Howell's deposition where she said Whitney and Amber were lying but could not be brought up in trial because it's hearsay?

Depp and Amber had destructive actions such as abusing drugs and alcohol. They constantly insulted themselves but when it came to physical violence, it showed that she was violent but he wasn't. And just the fact that someone could make up such stories of r*pe and physical violence is just too much.

ExAngel007:
A Nigerian TikToker has been praised for proudly showing off her belly button.

One said: “the doctor probably didn’t cut her umbilical cord properly when she was first born so it grew like that, the same happened to my cousin.”
It's an umbilical hernia. A simple hernia repair surgery is done for kids before age 5. It's dangerous if left untreated as the intestine can get caught in the hole and cause an obstruction.

It has nothing to do with how the umbilical cord was cut.

Abetterperson:
I met my boyfriend sometimes last year, I really love him, he's caring and we complement each other quite well.
His the first son of his family and his dad is quite absent in his life.

he started working at the age of 15 to support his family and has been working since then to support himself and his family, in simplest terms he carries a lot of burdens.
The problem I have with him is that he is addicted to weed, he doesn't let it control him, he functions well but I just have a problem with it.

Please how can I stop him
He says it stops the pain but I don't want it to destroy him.
Weed is not a big deal. Depending on the type, it can help you function at a higher level or keep you calm. Weed doesn't make you aggressive. It helps with building relationships. As long as it's not controlling him, it's okay. It's now legal in a lot of countries.

If it bothers you a lot, you can ask him not to take it when you both are together and he shouldn't take it inside the house.

Did your baby had issues with blood sugar level and temperature regulations during when is birth weight was low? Please what did u do?
It's been over 10 years. Don't think I remember the details. He was in the incubator for 1 day. He lost weight till he was 2.1kg but I kept feeding him milk on demand and on a schedule. No water for the first 2 weeks. Doctor didn't mention anything about temp regulation or blood sugar levels.

This man is just not ready to be vice-president, nor to talk of being a President. His daughter got married, not even one non Igbo person was present (at least, lookingat the pictures). Does it mean he doesn't have political allies or loyal Party members outside of his regio ? Imagine a Tinubu daughter getting married at this time...
Obi should relax or pick a Senatorial form, if he's so desperate to remain in politics.
This is the traditional wedding. Wait for white wedding before concluding.

Sis. Victoria, I have listened to some of her preaching, she also speaks to men to treat their women right also. Go and get her previous teaching before you attack her. I know you are protecting your gender and the preacher is a woman also.
I've listened to a lot of her preaching but she's lost the plot a long time ago. When she mentioned how she treated a potential DIL I knew I could no longer listen to her messages. That was a very 2 faced approach and definitely not how a Christian should respond.

She's now so money focused and so proud. Gosh, I was irritated.

Travel › Re: Help Advise Me On Relocation Plan With Money Saved. by blank(f): 1:50am On Dec 24, 2021
Dadaboy:
Good day Nairalanders..

I am in dire need of support from people who have travel experience.
When I say travel experience, I mean people who has relocated from Nigeria completely.

I will be 30 next month, single (have always hated the idea of marrying any lady in Nigeria because I have been unlucky with most of them i met as they seem complicated, inconsequential, dishonest and inexposed).

To make this short, I spent a lot of my youth working so hard to save enough money with the mindset to relocate from Nigeria as Nigeria depresses me alot.

I have been able to save nearly 20 million naira, excluding investments running in millions i wish to put on cargo to ship wherever I wish to relocate to.

Now, my problem is finding a suitable location or environment where i can relocate to without stress and problems.

Note that, I do not intend to work for anyone as I have my own skills.

United States, United Kingdom are out of my plans as I have realised their system are not built to favour me or my type of person and seem more like stress and a slavery environment to me.

I applied for Canada visa with hope to get work permit but has been on hold for months as they have been on lockdown since.

Having lived in South Africa before for a short while and felt like home there, I had it as an option but I am at crossroads, if I can have better suggestions from experienced people here.

Also, if anywhere in Europe is advisable (remember I do not wish to work for anyone except part time, in my field or if must require me to get a work visa)

Please I need advice.
Apply for study visa in Canada and the work your PR from it.

This is very discouraging Sha, So even as a chartered accountant, it’s not working for you right?
It's working for me because I joined one of the big 4 early and hot a fantastic job right after it. However, it's not been the same story for most of my classmates. Those that are successful is inspite of being a CA not because of it.

Cutting to the chase; join a recognized accounting firm and build your experience. That's really when your CA will count.

So guys I’ve been wondering, chartered accountants every where, even my science guy has gone into ican and finished it already.. so I want to know how lucrative is it?

How easy is it for someone to get a job as a chartered accountant as a starter, like fresh out of school but already chartered?

Experienced people should answer...
Thanks
It's only lucrative for those working in a Big 4 firm and that's just to give you a boost to get a higher paying job eventually.

If you have plans to relocate, you can use it (ACCA) to get exemptions when converting to whatever country's CA.

Like any other profession, it's not that lucrative and so stressful to acquire.

I'm a chartered accountant but will not advise my kids to go into it not like they would listen. I didn't listen to my dad. It's a bloodsucking profession.

Please, I need your advice because right now I'm confused about where to go, it's a lifelong decision.

I just turned 34 last month, still living with my uncle, but no pressure on his part is a big house. Currently, I teach in a school where my net salary and my home lesson inclusive are approx. N 100000 a month. I have a master's degree in engineering, so I haven't put that certificate to use. I have a saving of 900k, it will be higher by December. Although it would have been more than that, I lost 400,000 to the detriment of a bad investment. Last two years, I had an illness that struck (ENT related), which doesn't have a cure. One of the symptoms is vertigo (a sensation of feeling off-balance). This made me change my mind about travelling. For a few months now, I haven't had the experience.

I have three thoughts, but I can only do one at a time.

Firstly, leave my uncle's house, get an apartment. Use the rest of the money to start a business as a side hustle while working with the school.

Secondly, leave my uncle's house, get an apartment. Next, I invest my time in a tech skill (web dev, programming or data science).

Thirdly, travel to the US for my PhD program. I have already been preparing for my GRE before now.

Thank you.
If your uncle is okay with it, please stay with him and save more. Look for another masters in US or Canada (or apply for PR to Canada) and then start learning to be a Business Systems Auditor. You will never regret it.

Do the 2. Be a ghost corper and work. Ask people who've gone through it. It's easy although you would have to split your allawee with whoever is helping you.
