No hope oo Bro, we too de hypocritical as a people towards doing the right thing. Someone steals cup of garri, people go killl am, but when one steals 10m, them go hail am. What kind of human beings be that? People will invest in a friendly land of other people, but will not allow people to invest in their own land. People will carry out elderly care abroad, but will not dare do that in Nigeria. They are proud of Canada, UK and other countries, but will not make effort to make where they live ok and comfortable for others. |

bigiyaro: Ordinary, large markets is one of the advantages of large vibrant population. Large markets should translate to large volumes of production, hence large exports. China exports even pencils and toothpicks, utilizing thier large population (enough cheap labour) But in my country, everything is upside down, insideout. Our Large population counts for nothing, it can't even be hannessed for anything. Our hypocrisy as a people towards doing the right thing stinks. We do not encourage good ventures like farming, foundry, productive activities but we rather encourage religious stealings, useless owambes and mindless importations. We really need to address ourselves both the poor and the elites |

A nation where her politicians see electives position as means of getting more wealth instead of service to the nation. Yahoo Yahoo will soon become legally accepted. This statistics will continue to increase until our leaders do something to our economy. Surely yahoo yahoo is the economic backbone of the masses in South of Nigeria. Nobody is seeing the effect of political government spending in the life of the masses. So yahoo yahoo may well be legally accepted. It is so unfortunate that those in legit businesses so called do not invest to make the monies felt in the economy of the masses as much as yahoo yahoo has done. We need to review our ways as a people. Our hypocrisy and wickedness stinks do much |

I am not defending the church. But your judgement here is very illogical. There are bad people in the church, there are also bad people outside the church. Whoever cannot choose a good wife from the church cannot choose a good wife from outside the church. Whoever is able to pick a good wife from outside the church can as well pick a good wife from the church. Well said. No generalisations |

I doubt if we still have up to 1 million people left in Nigeria at this time. So where is that multidimensional poverty statistics coming from? If almost everybody can afford the cost of Japa that doesn't come cheap. This makes me to come to the conclusion that, Nigerians might not have money in their bank account, but majority have tangible assets that can be easily converted to cash if the need arises. God1000: Good news, too many innocent people have died.
It appears netanyahu government is finally bowing to international pressure, though we need more than 5 days of truce.
We need a complete cessation of hostilities, Israel should not expand military offensive into southern Gaza where it has told civilians to take shelter because they are planning to do so.
I have no problem with any country fighting a terror war, but it becomes an issue if if you end up killing tens of thousands of civilians and not the actual terrorists you claim to be fighting and then disregard international humanitarian law by cutting food, water, fuel and electricity to civilian population
such collective punishment is evil and it's against christian values.

Skills acquisition and blue collar jobs should be emphasized more than university degrees that adds nothing to the economy.
