Looking at Russia military power, I believe 48hrs is enough for Putin to level Ukraine.

Since the invasion began Ukraine has been on a defensive position and surrounded by Russian forces. In the sense, Ukraine will be the one to always call for peace talk and if the peace talk should happen between Putin and Zelensky, Russia might attack as away of showing their might.
