PoliticsRe: Rivers State VS Rwanda: Why Amaechi Should Is An Underachiever by Bliss4Lyfe(f): 4:15am On Sep 22, 2013
Fine pictures...

Dividends of having a National Parliament with 55% women MPs.

OP, Public Office Thief will never allow Nigeria to attain what even Ghana has managed.

Port Harcourt is an eyesore, despite the City Oil Status.

Amaechi should keep fighting for his Northern Godfathers while Bayelsa of yesterday surpassses Port Harcourt.

Akwa Ibom has gradually over taken Port Harcourt.

Such a shame becos Port is strategically position to be the Southern Capital of Nigeria.

Igbo girls don't come cheap oh. Parents spend alot for masters programme abroad to say the least. Igbo guys know this and don't complain, but imo is more expensive than anywhere in igboland.

Madam Bliss,What's with Tinubu being a godfather of Ngige? Edo state in an APC state too. How many times have you heard of Tinubu being mentioned in that state? Ngige should be given opportunity to rule Anambra again. He is the man to bring Anambra back to life.

Vote for Ngige, vote for change!
hahah! Very funny Berem, as usual...

Since Ngige is a career politician, don't u think, it advisable to move further up the ladder for the position of Senate President or President of Nigeria, why the stagnation? Must dey make all their money in Anambra at the expense of Anambarians?

Oh well, he will be taught a very good lesson this time round and that will be the undoing of him.

See where the aspiring candidate for Gov of Anambra is sitting... He cannot even be brought to the table.

While his Godfathers from the North and Lagos take centre stage

Ndi Anambra choose wisely OOOOOOOO

Clerverly: Are you for real? I mean are you a chameleon? You keep swinging front and back like a confused brat. In one breadth, you call obi unprintable names, in another vein you are eulogizing the same Man. Paraniod?? Go see your doctor before it develops further. Smh for your would be husband!
That is correct, i am a chameleon, u change, i change. I am not a one way traffic like u. Ok!

I believe, i have made my point. That is Ndi-Anambra must resist Godfatherism.

Since Peter Obi decided to be a Godfather to Obiano, i turned my back on him, besides u can't say he did nothing in 8 years, that will be incorrect. Soludo promised so much more, precisely to restructure and expediently reposition the economy of the east.

Back to the matter cheesy, Ngige did not present one bill while he was a senator true or false?

Ngige, only focused on his village as Gov true or false?

Did Ngige support the deportation of Ndiigbo from Lagos? tRUE OR fALSE

Does Ngige live under Godfathers? True or False

I rest my case, and might no longer dignify u with a response.

fitnesswis: You have a point but where you lack evidence is if ngige has done anything for his village. dont you hear of ALOR London? 80%roads in his village are tarred.water is running and free there.the towns near his own town also benefited. his administration tried so much in health sector roads and education. We should try other persons to me but if he wins he should cos he has been tested and trusted only that I do not like his Party APC.
My point exactly, and that is why i give it up to Peter Obi becos his strategy was development for every locality and village though not substantial but everybody had something. Ngige won't win his own village after the deportation saga. Who wants Tinubu to get his hands on Anambra Oil wealth. Godfatherism must be resisted. All his life Ngige has been running from pillar to post, from one godfather to another.

Clerverly: As much as Anambra State remains underdeveloped
So Ngige has been Gov, Senator and now aspiring to be Gov again but Anambra remains undeveloped? huh

I rest my case. embarassed

Ndii Anambra vote Ngige to continue undeveloped and be deported from lagos... sad
PoliticsRe: Ngige Flags Off Campaign In Anambra State. by Bliss4Lyfe(f): 9:44am On Sep 20, 2013
How many times does Ngige want to rule Anambra? Is Ngige the only person in Anambra state? First he was Gov and then Senator and now he aspires to be Gov again.

In all those time, what has Ngige got to show outside his village/locality?

Anambra must not recycle old leaders besides he was to quick to betray Ndi-Anambra deported to Fashola.

He should contest for Lagos State Gov.

PoliticsRe: Lagos State Residents Registration Unveiled. Fashola PICS by Bliss4Lyfe(f): 8:13am On Sep 20, 2013
PointB: How many ID cards do one need to own to live in Nigeria?

There is the Passport, the drivers' license, National ID Card, Company ID cards, and now this?

Seriously, I think this duplications of ID card is pure waste of time and resources.

Personally, I think the (International) Passport and Driver's License should suffice in nearly all the cases. This Lagos State ID Card is either a pure waste of tax-payers money or designed for far more ulterior motive (666 on mind, Illuminati things lol). The National Population Census suffices for enumeration sake.

I will stick to my International Passport as I see no reason for another round of time wasting session in the name of ID cards. I know this will soon be challenged in the court.

By that Fashola's head make for interesting caricature. Reminds me of hammer head (of horror.) grin grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy
Exactly, Stick to your Passport and Drivers License. Those are Federally approved documentation and if the Federal gov finds a need for ID cards, it should be a National ID Card.

Nigeria is not safe and you don't want ur personal information falling into the wrong hands or used by OPC for targeted killings of people of other origin, since Lagosians are diverse in origin. This should definitely be struck off or voluntary not compulsory.

CrimeRe: CRUELTY: Police Brutally Beat Helpless Women Over Petty Crime (GRAPHIC VIDEO) by Bliss4Lyfe(f): 7:27am On Sep 20, 2013
Nobody, man or woman should take the law into their hands. This is a clear case of abuse of power.

The victims under police custody where assaulted, battered and suffered actual bodily harm.

The violence against these women are clearly sexually motivated(BD....SM) as the men kept on removing their item of clothing and wiping their bottoms.

Hence a charge of sex..ual assault is inclusive, although the video did not capture the offence of ra..pe , it is likely that they might also have been ra..ped. cry cry
PoliticsRe: Lagos State Residents Registration Unveiled. Fashola PICS by Bliss4Lyfe(f):
This is an exercise in futility, a total waste of tax payers money. As long as Lagos is part of Nigeria it remains a no mans land.

ID card don't change citizenship.

Best theory, i can think of, is to enable election rigging, an alternative voters register for APC and Lagos State.
FamilyRe: Traditional Marriage In The Village, Is It Compulsory? by Bliss4Lyfe(f):
Please I need an answer ASAP. My cousin is getting married soon, and this has been bothering her seriously. She happens to be Igbo, but with a mother from Kwara state(yoruba).

The children are very close to their mother who despite being married to an Igbo man, despises the Igbos(especially Umu village). Unfortunately, they(my cousins) were all born and brought up in the North, and they understand yoruba only, depise Igbos too, and have never being to the village.

Now my cousin is getting married(to a yoruba man) and wants her wedding(white and traditional) here in Abuja, but the dad insists that they must do the traditional marriage in the village or no traditional marriage at all.

I've asked friends around and they said it depends on the village, tradition and her position in the family(1st or 2nd daughter), and luckily for her, she happens to be the second(the 1st daughter who married a yoruba man too, also had same issue, but only did an introduction in form of Traditional marriage and a court marriage here in Abuja).

Although I'm an Ada, grew up in Abuja, but have no problem doing mine in the village if that be the case(maybe because I schooled in the East).

But Please I would like to know, is it COMPULSORY for an Igbo lady to do her traditional marriage in the village?
Dis is the type of rubbish a yoruba forum like nairaland will be quick to Front Page.

It depicts the mental disposition and bigotry of nairaland as an anti-igbo and pro yoruba site.

Marriage between both group do not even account for 1% of the Igbo population but nairaland would love to make it seem like marriage in Nigeria, is an affair strictly between igbos and yorubas and a tug of war between the participating couple of diverse origin, with the kids adopting their yoruba culture and despising their igbo half and culture. How delusional can nairaland admin and mods get.

Well, wateva rocks ur boat as the world carries on.

Like I said earlier, the Igbos that do this otherwise were either ostracised by their umunna, or they are osu, etc.

Infact, its even humiliating for a man to stand alone without being backed by his umunna in any traditional thing he does. So any father who can stand this humiliation indeed has something to hide, period.
On Point. Though i take the things i read on nairaland with a pinch of salt becos some are rumours or make believe

Sound exactly like Peter Obi, such a waste. No strategic positioning of the entire eastern economy

Umuigbo will continue seeking greener pastures in Lagos, Abuja and Kidnapping.

Truely a sad state of affair.

Obazi can do similar as a Vice to Soludo.

Anambra is the gate way to the east and the entire eastern economy needs to be re-positioned.

RomanceRe: Can You Marry Outside Your Tribe? by Bliss4Lyfe(f):
dmcdad: My dear why start from the middle of something? Stop being naive please... And what is the pointless statement on "you can't love anybody blah blah blah" I just stated what I discovered to drive my point home. Who says I wanna be against you guys? All my friends from childhood to adulthood have been Ibos. You know why? Cause I like the people. You should know I don't have anything against your people so give me a break! Gosh!

Besides, I even stated it in my earlier post that I would love to marry an ibo girl...Does it still seem like I have something against you guyshuh Smh... Na wa for some people oooooo
lollz! Very funny, becos FFK used does same lines. Marriage should not be about tribe but love, but why will u love to marry an igbo girl?(delibrate choice) it seems everybody in nairaland wants to marry igbo, now that is marrying for tribe not love, becos it is fashionable(stereotype) and not for content of the persons character, as tribe will not then be a factor.

Simple supply and demand economics, makes clear that increase in demand will lead to a drastic reduction in supply, meaning alot of no from igbo families, since they don't raise children with intent to throw away but to continue their name, culture and people.

I am sure we can agree on this, even if we agree to disagree.
RomanceRe: Can You Marry Outside Your Tribe? by Bliss4Lyfe(f): 10:44am On Sep 18, 2013
dmcdad(m): 9:10am

God bless you jare... Leave people bringing up redundant posts as regards inter-tribal marriages. If you don't like it, good and fine. Everyone is entitled to do whatever he/she deems fit.

Does tribal marriage guarantee happiness all through the marital period? Nope! Infact, most igbos around me happens to be married to peeps from their tribe, and you wanna know how the marriages of most of em are going? I don't wanna say...

The thing is; marry someone you love and you will wanna spend the rest of your life with come what may. Sometimes I begin to ruminate if this is God's plan for us Nigerians. Do you actually think God would not want us to cross-breed? Why all the discrimination? And did I hear someone say that Nigeria can ever be united? That ain't gonna happen in the slightest margin. You know why? Everyone tends to think they are the best and wanna segregate themselves from the rest. And we say we want peace and unity in Nigeria. I am sorry that is just a mere phantasmagoria or rather just a castle some people are trying to build in the air because if we cannot start from the root then how do we think it can work up there?

Tell me; if you have your parents from different ethnicity and maybe trouble is looming between such ethnic groups(let's say your parents are from Igbo and yoruba lands) would you rather stand on the side of your mom or on the side of your dad (let's say you have to choose one) or would you rather not stand on both sides and face whatever that comes. As awkward as that illustration might seem, it tells you that inter-tribal marriage places us in good stead in making sure we are unified.

That is not to condemn tribal marriages in any way. But please, if you have a different view as regards inter - tribal marriage, it's okay but stop condemning it in any way. I was very surprised when a parishioner from my church was speaking my language whom I thought was from my place and I happened to know that he is Ibo but his wife is from my place. At that time I tripped cause he was speaking it with his wife and other times they code-switch to speaking igbo language. Just imagine what that means to the growth and the love within the family... Infact, is it just me or what, but most families that I know who share different tribes happens to live happily. I am not talking about outside happiness and sadness inside, I am talking about happiness in and out.

Well, I never expected to write something as long as this cause I am not even in the mood these days, but I hate it when someone tries to coin something from some baseless and redundant points. It's just...
Why the focus on the igbo people? What is the agenda? Leave us be and talk about ur own people, can't love anybody when u don't love urself, charity begins at home...
