Sending kids to holiday lessons makes no sense.

Most of you will make your kids go to school till they become useless. You took them to school at age 3 and abandon them there. During long vacation you still send them to school. To do what?

Can't you spend time to bond with your kids? What exactly are they going to achieve in school during vacation? Vacation lesson only favour school owners, not you. Allow kids rest for God's sake.

If you should engage kids during long vacation then teach them skills. Enrol your kids in centres that they can learn practical computer usage, coding, programming, painting and decoration, catering, musical instruments. Let them learn martial art, how to shot guns, how to wrestle. Teach them something beyond pure academics.

If a school should organize long vacation class then it should gear towards extra curricula activities - debate, modelling, music concert, science fair, mini project. How would you call kids back to school during holiday to learn Math, English, Chemistry, Social studies, accounting, by same teachers that taught them during school period. What is the difference? If these teachers knew what to teach why didn't they do it during normal school session.

Education is beyond memorizing facts. Give your kids opportunity to develop and be better prepare for life.

Hello nairalanders, I need candid opinion on how to deal with this relationship. There is this lady I am dating she is 26 while I am 46. We started in December 2022 with good vibes, love, care and romance. She was very helpful in helping me settle down again after the demise of my wife and I have her all the attention, care and love I can. I honestly wanted to marry her but she said the age limit is too much, even if she agrees, her siblings and parents will not. Ok fast forward to May 2023 she just started with attitude and eventually said she is not interested again.
I tried to persuade her but it all fell on her deaf ears. We still remain friends and still vibe well but no more relationship.

Before the relationship started I noticed there is this guy that calls her almost everyday but she keep saying they are just friends from nysc.

Immediately she broke up with me she paid the guy a visit somewhere in Osun State, I got to know all these when my phone had issues and I had to collect the phone I bought for her when her own had issues too.

When I reinstall the WhatsApp on the phone hmmm all I saw was that she had been keeping this same guy all these years and when she eventually visited him they had sex that she even contacted urinary tract disease from the guys toilet. Till now she dies not know I had seen all their chat history.

What is really baffling me with this lady is that before we started the relationship there's another guy in her office she confessed to me that they had a quickie and I said I will not judge her with this let her take it as a mistake and move on.

Right now as we speak, she is still claiming she is not dating anyone considering the fact that she had gone to visit the other guy, even did masturbation and nude video with him.

There is another guy again I saw on her chat history she confessed to him she had a crush on him and they are working in the same office with the one she had quickie with.

Summary of the whole story is that this lady is on the verge of sleeping with three guys working in the same office within the space of one year she started working there (this including me but I have since resigned from the establishment). And she already slept with the other guy in Osun State and still claiming they are not dating.

Meanwhile she still has numerous guys approaching her for either relationship or sex including her ex (s).

Now to the issue, how exactly do I deal with this kind of lady because I know she really need help not castigating.

Though I know she has been fooling me all along but this time I refused to be fooled. I want to end it all with her but not without making her realise all she had done in the past while I was dating her and how this would surely affect her marital future.

She is also a type of person that doesn't mind talking to her ex. Though very useful domestically.

I've been working in an Asian company since 2017, then my salary was 70k, but it fluctuates up and down currently I've been at 100k for the past 3 years or so.

Where did I tell you am an engineer. Like I said earlier I can practise my trade anywhere in the world just need to present myself at the consulate and the rest is history. If haven't gotten that stage you u won't understand and if you try to now cos am guessing you should be above 18yrs be prepared to give up 30 yrs to get to the peak..you can't steal it you can't forge it you can't act it our, you can't crash out and it's an act and science. If it's not there it's not there.

The Oyo State Government has approved the immediate release of car loans for primary school teachers, across all zones in the state.

This was disclosed today in Ibadan by the coordinating Director, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Mr. Jacob Dairo, who stated that the loan is coming as a palliative to teachers in the state.

He said the loan which is to be distributed in many tranches is to cushion the effect of the removal of fuel subsidy, on Oyo State primary school teachers.

According to him, the scheme was graciously approved by the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, who has instructed that the loan be provided to all teachers, without any favoritism.

The coordinating Director therefore, advised the beneficiaries to use the support judiciously for the intended purpose.



The facility which is to be granted by financial institutions, is to be redeemed within 40 months.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Salihu Abdulwaheed has expressed readiness to work with all stakeholders in the Education sector.

The Commissioner stated this when he paid a visit to the Directorate of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board on Thursday.

Prof. Abdulwaheed assured that the Oyo State Government will, in due course, recruit more teachers into the basic education sub-sector.



He added that the present administration will ensure training of staff members, for an all-round success of the Government.

Responding, Mr. Dairo promised a more robust working relationship between the Board and the Ministry of Education.

Dairo also acknowledged that to ensure a paradigm shift in the education sector, all education related boards,and parastatals must work in tandem with the Ministry of Education.
