Hi good morning, I need you guys advice on this.
So when I first resumed to university the hostel I stayed in was a new hostel like half of us were freshers and some big boys and older girls but quite a few rooms only about 15 or so. We did have problems in that hostel especially with one big guy at the back harassing with an incident where he was arrested. I'm an introvert by nature but I got along very well. My very close friends who are roomates still live there but will probably move soon due to hostel issues. However even when I go to visit them I'm really cool with a lot of people there.
So due to a lot of this issues I moved out to another hostel, bigger in size 39 rooms in all.
Moving here I'm currently staying alone as I plan to convert this room into a makeup studio too. I'm a very polite person by nature and I endeavour to greet everybody I see even if I'm just going out or fetching water with a smile on my face, but I've chose to mind my business. The hostel is mostly filled with older students and 3 different blocks. I don't know a lot of people here, however when I moved I started having some people, guys always asking me when they see me probably fetching water why don't I come outside (?)
At first I just took it as nothing but there seemed to be this odd curiosity and slight hostility in some towards me in my block (I don't really have any reason to go to other blocks).
The network is poor here for mtn but I also have glo which isn't bad. I go about my daily business normally but at night some guys and girls like to hang outside probably to browse. I'm not comfortable nor feel the need to do that, perhaps that's the 'come outside' they are talking about. I do engage in small talk with people in the hostel when I see them, 2 freshers in another block, one girl in block c, my next door neighbour and like 2 othere guys in my block.
There was an incident where a guy in my level, different courses; a coursemate of mine was visiting this guy(i don't know him personally he's from another block) came to knock my door and query me as to why I don't come out, he asked me why I don't even relate with the 2 girls in our level in another block ( I actually have those girls on WhatsApp, they've been to my room like twice and I went to see them once). I was baffled, the next day he came to ask me if i was going to church I said no, and he was like he wanted to make sure I'm around so he can come and read with me for exam. I told him I was going to my friend's place. I have had other guy's come to meet me maybe when I'm outside cooking and stuff cause kitchen is outside and ask this same question.
Now I really hate hearing that sentence "why don't you come outside?
This hostel is filled with a lot of cliques and so many complicated relationships I don't want to get tangled in all that. I'm not looking for friends here just to be cordial with the people who live around me and I've always been very polite and greet everytime even when I don't know them.
Please am I doing something wrong?

I got a job to transport some surgical equipment from lagos to Abuja . As usual , I left lagos past @ night . Got to Abj quite early as I ws heading to Utako , just by city gate FCT , with the usual early morning traffic , I applied breaks, e no catch o , pumped the break pedals like it was an Olympic final game , still zero friction , thank God I was @ the last lane as there was an E-class in my front ,I left my lane & faced concrete slab used for road diversion to staduim & slammed into it . Lots of damages , thanks to FRSC on stationed there .

Have you experienced brrakfailure while driving or in a vehicle/ bike .

I have been dating this girl for like 2 years now. When we started dating, she was a private school teacher. She was always complaining about the job being too stressful and the salary not worth the stress. I was always supporting her financially the best I can to pay her rent and feeding. In January this year, We agreed she resigns from the teaching job and come live with me while she searches for another job.

For over six months she was living with me, I was catering to her every need as she was jobless. She was behaving all good, humble, and nice. I felt we were a perfect match. I even went to see her family to collect the marriage list and we planned on a wedding around November.

Recently, a relative of hers who has a level in Government asked her to send him her Curriculum vitae to get her a federal job in one of the ministries. I was so happy for her. From the look of things, she might be earning more than me.

To cut the story short. Last Saturday I gave her money to go to a computer center and scan the necessary documents for her said relative for the job. She left the house around 10 am to do that, but when she came back around noon, she was entirely a different person. When I opened the door for her, she just walk past me without a word. I asked her if she succeeded in sending the documents, but she ignored me. Next, she started complaining about how dirty the house is and why I didn't sweep, clean, and cook something she will eat when she comes back. She was just walking up and down the house angrily. She said I should better start learning to help out with the house chores as I wouldn't expect her to do it all when she starts work soon. She even threatened that she will get her own house when she starts to work as she doesn't want me adding to her stress.

I was dumbfounded by her sudden change of attitude. We had a heated argument like we have never had before. She said so many hurting words to me that I can't say here.

I'm beginning to have a double mind toward her as it regards marriage. I feel like she just showed me her true color. She is yet to get an employment letter for the job and yet she is already acting up and looking down on me. What would happen when she now gets an employment letter to resume the job?

I'm confused about whether to continue with her or if I should end it all for my peace of mind.

Late last year, the company I worked with decided to reduce workers as a result of the high inflation. I happened to be one of the victims of the mass reduction.

I decided to use my little savings to buy a tricycle so I can be using it to do town service but my fiancee outrightly rejected such idea stressing that my societal standing is above that. After intense argument I went ahead and bought the tricycle. Since that day she has not picked my calls, call me or come to visit me.

I have moved on.
