successhungry:hello, please how did you go above getting the refund? I also paid application fee, biometrics fee and RPRF with my access bank account. Am I entitled to some refund too or it's case specific? |
TemiGee:Amen. thanks so much |
Lastdot:Thank you! thanks everyone |
This is the Lord's doing, and it's beautiful in my eyes. It's PPR for me. IELTS October 27th 2018 L8 R8.5 S7.5 W6.5 asked for a remark and I received my miracle W7.0 ECA WES December 12th 2018, took two months, professional degree from Unilag ITA December 18th 2018 CRS 450 Police certificate, Inspector Moshood POF 50% savings and 50% gift deed from Mom Medicals at IOM One year work experience, though I had 3 but needed to avoid reference letter headache AOR January 24th Med Passed/BIL March 5th, submitted 6th I raised CSE five times, called twice, mailed Ralph once, mailed Ottawa once Ghost update August 23rd PPR August 24th, dated 23rd. VO Ottawa Single applicant I received a lot of help and info from this forum before ITA and I'm deeply grateful for it all. May God bless all those helping others and responding to questions. To God be the glory. |
Is it advisable to land in missisauga Ontario and stay temporarily with my younger sister and her family before getting my own accommodation and job, or I should go to a countryside...(say saskoon) to hustle and forge my own part without knowing anyone there yet? I'm a single 30year old health professional, will appreciate your advice. |
Good morning my good friends. My application has crossed the 6 months timeline. I omitted the address in my bank statement of account in my address history on cic form because it was a temporary address I used just to update the account. I'm worried this may be the cause of my PPR delay. should I raise CSE and explain? though no ADR concerning it. my eligibility was met 2months ago according to Ralph. I'll appreciate your suggestions dear seniors. |
By God's grace, I will share my testimony in this thread. |

jazzy:My EOR with BC took 25days and it came out positive. Yours will be upgraded too. Remark only the section you need an increase in. WES will update your profile to verification received once they receive verification from your institution, once you see this, you can contact them immediately via Facebook messenger to know when report will be ready since verification is confirmed, they'll give you a date. |
Chicagomum:Madame, if you have money, apply to WES for evaluation too ASAP. WES won't take more than 6weeks if there's no delay from your school. Better to part with some extra cash than wait till you drop points. |
bharbhyie:a |
muvey10:Your verification status update will appear on your profile when you log in, they don't send mails to tell you you've been verified. Contact them via Facebook messenger if you have questions, they respond within 12hours, attach your WES reference number to your question for identification. |
revlane:I am not clear on your question. Add credential for degree how? Did they ask you to upload your certificate on the site? I completed my evaluation in December and I don't really understand this question. Fill your post secondary education details you want evaluated only, they will automatically request you tell waec/neco to send your result regardless. Someone who understands his question better can please respond. |
mosbiod:The idea that WES is a difficult body to use because of WAEC is not true. I evaluated with WES, sent everything requested for, WAEC inclusive and my evaluation was completed exactly 2weeks after all my credentials had been verified; 6weeks in total from the date they received my documents, could have been shorter had my school verified me faster. It is not difficult getting WAEC to send your result. Go to WAEC office at Yaba with 2passport photographs, a photocopy of your waec result, a sworn affidavit that the result is yours, one waec scratch card, 2 envelopes and 20k cash. You don't need connections there, WAEC will send your result and verify you. God's best. |
nomad26:You lack courtesy and you should learn how to talk. My opinions aren't forced down anybody's throat, so you should mind your business. Go and die if you don't like my opinions, never tell me not to express them. I emphasised in my first post that my submission weren't facts but my opinion, hence no one is compelled to believe them. I have decided to advise people in line with what worked for me and it's not your business what decision they make. Na only you know say money no dey grow for tree, Yeye. |

But you already said the entire process was completed in 5 days and you doubt it was really reviewed, so was the result supposed to change? or which one is incorrect theory again? I am a man of faith, and I believe if you need an upgrade in writing only but decide to include speaking when you don't really need it just for the possibility of refund then you lack conviction. And it's no way to exercise Faith. |
ontarioissauga:Lol, I see people here who already maxed out speaking at 7.5 BC IELTS still request for remark in same with writing because they're after reimbursement. Majority of those who have 7 in speaking and need writing to get to 7 most times do not need the 3points added by speaking after getting 50points from writing upgrade. But if you're all actually more interested in reimbursement rather than an upgrade to clear writing, suit yourself. I know what I know. I was never talking about IDP IELTS |
ontarioissauga:Why exactly do you want to mark speaking? |
ceyrahtlk:From my observations based on my interactions with friends that have applied for EOR and info here, I don't think BC Lagos forward every EOR application to senior examiners in UK. This is because one of my friends got EOR feedback result within 13days after submission, and of course their was no upgrade; I don't believe it is possible for the application to be processed, flown abroad for remark, and returned with other remarks back to the country and picked up all within 13days. It's highly unlikely it was sent. Their was also a case of someone here being discouraged from applying by the person collecting EOR applications, this is wrong in my opinion, considering especially the fact that only 0.5 increase was needed then. Also, there are details I don't want to put up here. I opine with a high level of certainty, not absolute, that not all EOR applications are forwarded to BC in the UK. Their's a bandwagon of EOR applicants the week after results are released on Friday, you're likely to be among those whom their applications isn't sent if you apply at this period. I think you should apply for a remark in the main section you really need, and shouldn't be after settling for a refund if you don't. If you had to make a choice, would you rather get an upgrade in writing and lose the 15k, or an upgrade in speaking you don't really need and get reimbursed? I also think the senior examiners are human and they might know when a candidate is trying to kill two birds with a bullet when just a bird needs to be terminated, and may give an upgrade in the section you don't really need instead. This may not be accurate, but I emphasize that they're human. Lastly, I believe more Nigerians would do better in the writing module if BC examiners here in Nigeria were fair. All the above are just my opinion, not facts. |
ceyrahtlk:Mark only writing Don't rush to apply for EOR next week, apply for it upper week Pray fervently Advise based on experience God's best. |
#ECA #UploadORnot So, I noticed today a couple of our good-hearted and well-meaning members have commented on a post stating that ECA is NOT required to be uploaded in an application post-ITA since it does state so, anywhere. I have attached a screenshot of the page, where it specifically mentions that it needs to be uploaded. Also, there have been several cases of application rejection right at the R10 stage, because ECA was not uploaded. If you err, then always do so on the safe side. Please upload the copy of your ECA along with your educational credentials, degrees, transcripts/marksheets, and IELTS report. I am also quoting below a rejection text by IRCC for the very same reason. Quote: "Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), has assessed your application for permanent residence. We have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of a complete application as described in sections 10 and 12.01 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. Your application is rejected for being incomplete. Specifically, your application does not include the following elements: - Proof of education You must submit an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) to support your Education documents. Note: A full review of your application was not performed. There may be other elements, not identified above, which may also be missing or incomplete." and another one, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has reviewed your application for permanent residence. We have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of a complete application as described in sections 10 and 12.01 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. Your application is rejected for being incomplete. Specifically, your application does not include the following elements: - Proof of Education Original copy of your Education Documents (along with the translated version) and an ECA (Educational Credential Assessment) are required. Note: A full review of your application was not performed. There may be other elements, not identified above, which may also be missing or incomplete. Refund of fees As we are rejecting your application, IRCC will refund the fees that you have paid. This includes a refund of the processing fee and the Right of Permanent Residence Fee, if you have already paid this fee. Job Seeker account Since your application is rejected, you are no longer a candidate for Express Entry and your Express Entry profile number is no longer valid. If you registered for the Government of Canada’s Job Bank, you should deactivate or remove your Job Seeker profile from the Job Bank website. You should also remove any references that you are a candidate for Express Entry from any private job board websites, if you used any. Unquote: #foreverhopeful Kubeir |

nelronaldo:You qualify Bro, don't let anyone confuse you. Visit the immigration website and check minimum requirements. |
Zutlin:You are wrong. He is qualified. I'll advise the original person that asked the question to go check the minimum requirements on Canadian immigration website. He's qualified with multiple full-time jobs that sum up to at least one year in the same field of practice. |
