PoliticsRe: Sanusi: Why Abacha Locked Me Up In Sokoto Prison by Blue3k(op): 7:16pm On Aug 29, 2021
FarahAideed:
Abacha had already jailed him for that and besides Jonathan didn't know the the extent and extant of the powers he bore ....Is this not the same Jonathan that was giving Tinubu contract and licenses everywhere ? Was it not to hide Sanusi skeleton that they quickly made him Emir and when they were done they found a way to remove the radical ...

Where do you think the Pant bomber was radicalised ? He was radicalised right in his father's house , the same house that brought Sanusi to FBN ...
Conspiracy kook murder doesn't have a one year sentence. He was locked up on national security grounds. There wouldn't be a double jeopardy hence your incompetent leader could have prosecuted him at anytime. Nobody has been never prosecuted for the death of that igbo trader as FFK has said you clown.

PoliticsRe: Sanusi: Why Abacha Locked Me Up In Sokoto Prison by Blue3k(op):
FarahAideed:
He actually rallied and provided moral +material support for mob that stormed police station to behead one Mr Gideon .... All intelligence agencies have a full dossier on this ...Sudan trained Sanusi is not who you think he is
Conspiracy kook why didn't your incompetent leader Jonathan prosecute him? Are you not aware murder doesn't have a statute of limitations. They have all the evidence as you claim yet the fool let him walk free. You clowns are only good at spinning tall tales but can never explain why these your inept leaders wouldn't lock up this supposed mad mullah.

He acting went to Jail because of Islamic radicalism ..don't play yourself..This man , Abdulmutallab the father of the Panty bomber are all Islamic radicals
The story has changed again now he went to jail for being radical instead of murder. Can you explain why Johnathan didn't do anything about? You guys have silly conspiracy theories. Since when did these crimes have a one year sentence?

If only Akaluka got the same opportunity before his body was hung on a stake in Kano.

Hiss!!!
He was on stake instead of beheaded? Weird how the story keeps changing.

"Not many people know that between June 1995 and June 1996, I was in Sokoto prison as a threat to national security under General Abacha," he said.
People do know Sanusi went to jail but they believe it was for a murder of some igbo trader. Strangely enough some also believe this wouldn't be used against him despite battles with Abacha, Jonathan and Ganduje. Seriously someone should tell conspiracy kooks murder doesn't have a statute of limitations.

Duh everyone knows the crime rate in Nigeria grossly underreported. The crime stats are pretty ridiculous when adjusted per 100k population.

Fineman87:
Many of the people talking here dont understand the implications of losing medical consultants. Who will treat you and your mothers when you get ill or need a surgery. Smh.
Your illogical arguments and guilt tripping doesn't help your case. Saudi Arabia isn't taking all the doctors. There's a new batch of doctors graduating every year. If you want to keep your talent make the country a prosperous place. Most migration is due to economic factors. Don't make this a complicated issue.
PoliticsRe: FG, Ehanire, IGP - Stop Saudi Arabia Recruitment In Abuja by Blue3k(m): 6:26pm On Aug 25, 2021
Your argument is based on a false premise OP. The doctors don't owe subsidies because they aren't loans. Subsidies are tax dollars the state extracts from productive members of society to pay for projects they deem a public goods. If your issue is should the state be heavily Subsidizing education that would be an interesting conversation.

Students should be expected to pay more into the system. If they did the university would be better run and they would get better service and have less disruptions by way of strikes. Notice it mainly thing run badly by the state that experience perpetual strikes.

PoliticsRe: There Will Be No Election In Anambra – Simon Ekpa by Blue3k(m): 4:35pm On Aug 11, 2021
festacman:
"No election in Anambra State" stance suits Pres. Buhari very well. He will simply declare state of emergency, appoint military administrator (MILAD), and more crackdowns, near-state of war situation and deaths follow. It will give the military the legal foothold and leeway to foray into any SE States and do what they know best.
Not at all it simple goes into a run off election(s) then the winner is declared.

PoliticsRe: Was There Ever Slave Trade In Northern Nigeria? by Blue3k(m):
Ikwerelastborn:
almost all the stories of slave trade has been in the south ,we have little or nothing about slave trade in northern Nigeria, anyone knows?
You never read a history book? That was basis of their economy. Emirates went on regular slave raid expedition and used slaves as basis for tributes. I recommend the history book below.
Monogamy:
Slave trade occured in Africa entirely including Northern Nigeria but there are no proper documentation about them
That's untrue there's plenty of documentation you just never read the primary sources. Alot of it is written in Arabic and in libraries up north.

Ikwerelastborn:
Wow, thats mind blogging ,but how come no one talks about it.they tend to focus only in the south
The Atlantic slave trade is simply more popular. The trans Saharan that was just a brutal and lasted longer isn't widely discussed since the cultures involved dont hold a societal guilt over it.

Late U S president Truman always said "The bucks stops with me".

Buhari on the other hand never fails to blame his tools

Buhari's behavior ways makes me remember Psalms 146:3-4
Its surprising how few people consider policy when it comes to economic outcomes. How is anyone surprised is weird considering they supported import bans to save forex and help the farmers. Also he exposed his failure in terms of security hence why he's afraid to publish crime stats. Buhari is reaping the bounty the sewed but doesn't want his credit for it.

Do ueven know what is needed to upgrade and advertise that beach to the international community?
They need to clean up the beach, they need to build structures, hotels and requisite facilities that can accomodate tourists that Will troop in to akwaibom. Advertisement is another thing..
How much does ibeni recieve as allocation monthly?
Ibeno not even the top beach in domestically. Focus on capturing the locals then you can worry about international. It's all a gradual process. Again whats stopping the cleaning, building structures and attracting hotels today? They can clean the beach at the very least before anyone starts dreaming of being international tourist spot. If you need to know how much they recieve monthly just look it up nigerstat website. As I said before the state government can assist.

Ur lame attacks to me is idiotic.
Am not a politician, I'm not aspiring to be one, i outlined the problems we r having, gave insight and solutions... U came up with fantasy solutions, u didnt even mention bar beach or beaches in lagos being controlled and managed by their lcda or lgas, na miami beach u come bring..
Local govt in Nigeria that is being manag3d by state governors, they dont even have financial capacity to run their secretariat, na to go operate and revamp my beach.
Bros u r far from being intelligent when it comes to nigeria affairs.
Please don't cry over because your lame excuses have been rejected. The fact remains the local government receives their allocation every month and they also have taxing authority and control over local affairs. Akwa Ibom does not have LCDAs so it will naturally go to the local governments. Local governments do have more control over their finances now because of the NFIU directive. The fact they're incompetent is the issue currently.

Lol you mentioned the state governments control the local government so are they stopping them from developing the beach? You never debunked the fact the local government dont have the power to develop the beaches and finance project.

U r comparing a 1st world country to a 4th world country..
Even the primary school that is supposed to be under local govt is being run by state and assisted by federal govt.
Your lame excuses are boring. There's literally nothing stopping them from developing the beach now. What do local governments exist for if they don't provide any sort of service then? This isn't to say the state can't or should assist mind you. The local government collect allocation and have taxing authority like other tires of government.

Tourism budget should be more than a billion naira yearly, even if u ser out a 3 or 4yr plan to revamp and recreate and restructure that ibeno beach to a world class money spinning beach, the present govt will oblige. Cos udom is all about investment and not squandering scarce reaources.
We have so many tourism sites in akwaibom but those who r incharge of this ministry r either ignorant of what tourism is or are just plain foolish.
Why isn't the local government doing anything with the beach. They will be the main beneficiaries of it but they waiting on politicians in Uyo to develop the beach in their backyard. Miami Beach is run by the city of Miami.

So it's being added to the curriculum yes or no? If so thats cool. Nairaland post are cool but cited and sourced info is much better. I recently bought a book on Nigerian history which I enjoyed because it was throughly researched.

I'll share stuff I find interesting about Akwa Ibom and Nigeria in general.

They can't revoke his citizenship since he never commited any crime on UK soil.... If it had been in the UK he did all his nonsense with ESN, then his citizenship might get revoked after jailing him
You don't necessarily need to commit a crime on UK soil. The Home office can make a determination to revoke citizenship for crimes that happen abroad. I dont know of they'd do this to kanu since it doesn't harm UK interest.
