HarunaWest: We Africans or should I say Nigerians are angry with the west because they came here to colonize us. They took our resources, shoved their religion and ways of life upon us and took us as slaves to europe et al. The Westerners and Russians are all bad. Non is better than the other. They should have just left the black man alone so we develop at our own pace. They introduced us to a lifestyle that we couldn't cope with. That is the genesis of our problems in Africa. You are too ingnorant and naive. |

Misterone: it's like you like shifting the goalpost. you said constitution is the problem of Nigeria, I said no it is the people because we are too selfish. you said no because we don't practice true democracy. then I pointed to China. now you are talking about love for country. is it not the same thing as the people being the problem or solution and not one law or constitution? The dude is confused. |
Politics › Re: Cost Of Nomination Form For Primaries: Texas In USA Vs Nigeria by blueAgent(m): 3:31pm On Apr 29, 2022 |
jimyjames: The Constitution was written by the military and passed to civilians, but it still has that type of military directorship in it, it gives too much power to leaders not the people, in democracy power belongs to the people not the leaders Rubbish excuse. If you like give Africans the constitution used in Heaven the Idiots would still fail. It's the people's attitude and Character torwards the constitution that matters and not the letters of the consistution. |
Politics › Re: Cost Of Nomination Form For Primaries: Texas In USA Vs Nigeria by blueAgent(m): 3:28pm On Apr 29, 2022 |
Misterone: it's like you don't get it. you think man is made for laws instead of laws for man. the constitution is shiit without the people. it is the people that enforces the constitution not the constitution enforcing the people. you talk as if laws are alive and work on their own. that is bunkum. no matter how good a law, constitution or whatever is, it is dead unless the people enforce it. and the degree of enforcement determines how effective the constitution is. furthermore, this depends on the character, the commitment, and orientation of the people.
P.S to this topic the constitution is not the problem but the character, commitment to unity and orientation of the people. if you take all Nigerians out of Nigeria and replace them with people from Norway and vice versa to use their constitution, they would still beat the constitution to death. Excellent. The blackman is too foolish to abide to laws no matter how good it is and even when it is for his own good. |

There are other laws and special treaty and rules governing when a vote against a permanent member of the security Council is involved. |

nathyx: Mister I don't know your name you sound very bittered, frustrated and utterly disappointed by the Nigeria you found yourself in. Don't be dismayed our western colonialization did not favour us especially because these people (U.S) they don't give a piss about you, as the name implies it's all about us us us, If they give you a pack of noodles it's because they want to steal the gold bar in your hand. how long did it take for Nigeria to discover they can refine their own petroleum right here in the country 60, 62 years? Now this same set of people have come telling you they want to help you harvest your produce and you quickly fall for that? what does it take for Federal access be given to indegenous private investors to research and setup ammonia processing gas plants in those places. Your arguments are without facts. Shell a UK company built a refinery in Rivers state,Nigeria as early as 1965, It was nationalised by Nigerian government. Nigeria has been refining oil for years, I wonder were you got your information from. The only reason the refineries are not working optimally is becos of poor management and corruption, would you blame US and the west for that? You forget that whatever technology the indigenous companies would use to produce methanol is owned patented by the West, especially US. This is an industry I know very well,The indigenous companies do not have the technology , capital, or resources to build such plants. Ppl like you keep blaming western colonization for our failure which is totally wrong , becos their are several countries that where colonised and they are doing well. |

Upworkwriter007: They were granted the special status of Permanent Member States at the Security Council, along with a special voting power known as the "right to veto". It was agreed by the drafters that if any one of the five permanent members cast a negative vote in the 15-member Security Council, the resolution or decision would not be approved.
This is right in the link you posted. Ha! check the second to the last paragraph. If they veto, the case is dead. Read it na. And you fail to read were It is written that incases were they refuse to vote or participate the vote of the other 4 and 5other non permanent security Council members would be used. |

Igbofam: You need to sit this one out. I do business all over the world as a broker dealer and I can tell you for free that even the Chinese would tell you that their economy depends on the west to Thrive.
This is a simple game US holds the aces to. The west largely determines how quickly or slowly China can rise up.
Why do you think the USA runs a largely liberal immigration program and push "human rights" forward.
How many business are comfortable investing in China as against the west? China is mainly an output source for the west while the west is an input source for the entire world.
There is an adage that when one person cooks for you, you can finish the food but when the community cooks for you, you can never eat it all no matter how hard you try.
In a nutshell the little adage above explains why USA is the largest, wealthiest, most powerful nation in the world.
You need to go learn Geopolitics bro. Sit this one out On point. |

Of what economic importance is our selling of crude oil and buying of fuel at higher prices when other constituents are not returned? On point.
