Christianity Etc › Understanding The Facts And Truth About God's Judgement by blueAgent(op): 2:19pm On Jan 22, 2021*. Modified: 3:29pm On Jan 22, 2021 |
The Bible warns about the judgement of God, it foretells of a day on which God will bring every action, deeds and works of men into judgement. The purpose of this eassy is to examine and establish the truth of God's word on this subject, judgement. we will look at when it will occur, how it will be carried out and the rewards of those judged.
What is Judgement ? According to the Bible, a Judgement is defined as a ruling given in favour or against a person, after examinations of the persons deeds, actions and works during their lifetime. Ecclesiastes 3:17 I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. Rev20:11-12, Isaiah 33:22,Ezekiel 18:30, Ezekiel 33:20.
2.When will it take place? Ans is on the last day, Rev 20:12,John 12:48, Roman's 2:16
Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
3. Why is there need for judgement?Ans Judgement is required to ensure that everyone is given fair trial and to ensure that everyone is rewarded according their works. It also reveals God's just nature. Matthew 7:2. Psalms 89:14 Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.
4.What will be the standard for God's judgement? Ans is God's law. Romans 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
James 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. matthew7:1-2.
5.Who will be the judge or judge the people? Ans is Christ and his saints. Acts 17:31, Psalm 149:5, 1 Corinthians 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
6.Are People judged the day they die ? Ans is No. They rest in their graves till the day of Judgement when they are judged and rewarded according to their works.
Job 21:30 That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. Daniel 12:2.
7. Is there a second chance after death Ans is No. After death is judgement. Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
8.What are the things that are considered during judgement?Ans these things will be consider by God in Judgement, Wealth, privilege, grace, favour, and the knowledge of the word of God that we had and how we used this gifts to glorify God. Luke 11:31, Matthew 12:42.
9. How thorough will the judgement be? Ans The judgement will be very thorough all deeds and actions and words we did in open and in secrets will be brought to judgement.
Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
10. What punishment are given to the wicked?Ans is torment in Hellfire that climaxes in Death, this is called the second death. Rev21:8, Rev20:6, Mathews 22:13, Proverbs 19:29 Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.
11. What is the reward of the righteous? Ans: is eternal life and the righteous will inherit the Earth. Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
12. Will everyone be punished equally?Ans is No but the punishment will be fair and just, everyone will be punished according to their works. Luke12:48, Matthew 16:27
13.What determines ones level of punishment?Ans, Is ones works and how much of God's gift and grace which is given to one that was not used to the glory of God. Luke 12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
Matthew 11:23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. Matthew 11:24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.
14:Can One bear another persons punishment?Ans is No. Everyone will bear their punishment according to their works. Ezekiel 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. Ezekiel 18:1-31.
15. After God's Judgement and punishment upon the wicked what will be the view of the inhabitants of the Universe?Ans. The entire inhabitants of the Universe, Angel's and people will proclaim that God's judgement is just and good.
Revelation 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
In Conclusion. God has set aside a day to judge the World by the man he has appointed, been Jesus Christ. No one will be able to escape God's judgement, everyone of us will be held accountable for our actions and we will be rewarded accordingly.

timay: Lol. Don't be a hypocrite. this is politics and that's what they all do. Or is that not what the Democrats did to Trump's administration?
From claiming that Trump's presidency is illegitimate, to the Russian election collusion accusation without evidence, despite both independent and government security agencies clearing him of such to countless media attacks , with the Pandemic being the bulls eye that finally stuck, and eventually used and milked to oust him.
Hello bro, I repeat they are all the same. You'll be naive to think of one party as evil and the other as saint. You only see the Democrats as saints because they align with your ideals. I repeat , they are all the same and both sides play games with the lives of innocent ordinary people everyday to further their ambitions.
Know this and know peace bro. On point most are naive and dumb to know the truth. Both parties work for NWO. All this drama about stolen election are all part of the plan. |

Joe Biden gets elected, he reverses some of Trump's policies, some of them not even all of them, means he agrees with some of Trump's policies. Now what are his own policies? policies that would better American's lives, or is it going back to the way it was before trump.
Is that it? So he will spend the next 4 years phoning millions of americans who voted for him? What will he do different?
What i want from my president is to implement good policies that would better my life not phone calls.
This is the same thing Obama did, celebrity presidents. Obama did nothing, just going around shaking hands and taking photos. Hollywood presidents. I concur 100% |

these were worse than anything Nigerians can ever imagine - it was mass murder of South Africans by the apartheid regime in broad day light- But South Africans didn’t run away, they stayed back and fought and at least 80% of that generation who withnessed the massacre were alive to see Mandela become President and South Africa become free and prosper in the 1990’s
Imagine if every Black South African fled - where will they be today? will Cryril Ramaphosa be president ? Jacob Zuma, Thabo Mbeki and others... of course NO
That is why they kill us- they want us to go home and face our demons and some times I don’t blame them. If you don’t fight for what you want- nobody will hand it over to you
The average Nigerian is a coward and the world has seen that long ago and that is why we are so disrespected everywhere we go. All we know how to do is make noise and once we hear gun shot, every man will start betraying his family and every woman will start volunteering secrets to the enemy- we truly deserve being the poverty capital of the world
South Africans stood up and fought the racist whites and today all naija don run go there to go reap where they didn’t sow- pathetic losers! Dreamer. Can you fight yourself? The problem of Africa and blacks is genetic. |

sonmvayina: Yes bro..death does not exist. That is why God is going to destroy it.it is a deception.
We are spiritual beings dwelling in a physical body made from the dust of the earth..at conception the spirit enters and death it is seperated from the body. Read ecclesiatics 12:7. Psalm 104:29-31 says " send forth your spirit and they are created and replenish the earth, take it and they die and return back to earth from where they were taken"..it is Gods spirit that is living inside this body..
God only gave us laws to follow while the spirit is inside this body...when it leaves it becomes one with God just as the body becomes one with the earth...
Back to default settings.. That's false. The spirit referred to in ecclesiatics 12:7, is the life force from God it's like electric energy that powers a radio or TV. ihedinobi2: Yes I say that I am a pastor-teacher.
I just gave you two links to go and examine for my answers to your thread. I believe that they demonstrate your error. If you don't believe that they do, then you have to explain to me what you think I have failed to account for in your arguments. That is, you have to either ask clarifying questions or make counter arguments. If you don't, I can't do any better than I have done.
Of course I didn't write the Bible, nor did I claim that I did. Also I don't claim any right to cherry-pick Bible verses. So you need to explain your accusation.
I'm not sure what Bible verses you believe that I'm running away from. Which ones did you have in mind? I must also point out that it would be folly to expect that every Bible verses applies to every single Bible teaching. For example, do we use John 3:16 to teach that God created everything that exists or that He restored this creation in seven days? Of course not. John 3:16 can certainly come into play when we teach God's ex nihilo creation of all things, but that is not what itself teaches directly, is it? That is what the Bible calls "cutting straight (or rightly dividing) the Word of Truth" (2 Timothy 2:15).
I'm a pastor-teacher, not a prophet, so it is not my job to write anything new. My job is to explain or teach what has already been written by the inspiration of the Lord God Himself.
It is not my job to correct anyone who does not want correction. I told you that the Scriptures command us to only admonish divisive (or heretical) people twice and then leave them to their own devices. People have a free will. If they don't want to hear the truth, it is folly to teach it to them.
4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly, Lest you also be like him. Proverbs 26:4 (NKJV)
6 “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces. Matthew 7:6 (NKJV)
I certainly have a duty to do the work of an evangelist just like Timothy, himself another pastor-teacher, had (2 Timothy 4:5), but even so, not everyone who needs the truth actually wants it, and we have been warned by the Lord Himself in the last passage above to make sure that the people we are giving the truth to are people who are worthy of it.
https://www.nairaland.com/6326489/understanding-facts-truth-hellfire#97334652. That's the link. You quoted my post there, so you can take a look and point out what the provocation was and whether your own response was not an insult.
What questions do you believe boxed me into a corner and how did they box me into a corner? Does it occur to you that I am not under your control, so I can choose whether or not to answer questions as I please? Does it occur to you that a question you ask might be unreasonable and therefore not worth answering? There can be more than one possible reason why someone does or doesn't do something.
I know that you want a debate, but that's not my problem. I have limited time and energy in this world and I have many responsibilities. When I come to Nairaland, I'm here for only one of those responsibilities, so I pick and choose what activities I get involved in here in keeping with my goals. I have discussed what my goals here are. And you don't qualify as one of those who want help with the truth. Even your stated reason for a debate is in order to use your assumed victory to show the readership of this thread that you are speaking the truth. In other words, you don't expect to be corrected. You're quite sure that you are right about what you are teaching. So keep believing it and teaching it. I won't try to correct you. If it turns out that you were only deceiving God's children, well then, you must bear your judgment when it finally arrives at your doorstep. If you are right, on the other hand, you can always enjoy what rewards are yours as a result. I don't partake in either. As for being afraid to challenge, suffice to say that you don't know me at all. And reverse psychology is wasted on me. The only thing that would make me discuss this matter with you is if you were asking a question or discussing a point on which you wanted better understanding. Neither is true of you. You are here as a teacher -- and a false one too. So I'm not interested.
A couple of years ago, you were better off than you are now.
Sure, "clergymen" are wrong a lot of the time. That's why I finally quit "going to church" five years ago. Couple of years after that, God very generously brought me to the pastor-teacher who opened the Scriptures up to me. I have not ceased to be grateful for that. That is why I'm here to offer the same kindness that God showed to me through His obedient son.
You should probably read the things you write after you write them. You can't both not debate or write threads to win arguments and also expect to use arguments to show people how they are wrong. It is either you debate to win and show people that they are wrong or you debate without caring whether you win or show people that they are wrong. So you are quite mistaken about your own motives. Perhaps you are not being completely honest with your own self -- just as I told you in the beginning.
As I have said several times now, it is impossible for you and me to debate any matter on this platform productively, so I will not debate with you. To demonstrate, let us look at your rules, shall we?
Rule #1: First of all, if I agreed, I would be responsible to answer even unreasonable questions. Second, even if I were willing to answer unreasonable questions, the very nature of the questions will make any answer I give unacceptable to you unless the answer is the one that you hoped to force me to give. This is why you have accused me of leaving a lot of questions unanswered on your other thread.
Rule #2 : Of course the whole Bible must agree, but some passages are really not directly connected with each other, and some passages do say opposite things that other passages reconcile. For example, I have pointed out that John 3:16 and Genesis 1 are not directly connected. For another example, the Scriptures say in Proverbs 26:4 that you are not to answer a fool according to his folly, but the very next verse tells you to do so. The only reason that both things can be true is because of passages like Acts 5:1-13. Such passages teach that sometimes you answer a fool so that others can be corrected. Otherwise, you don't. This is what "rightly dividing (or cutting straight) the word of truth" means: connecting the right Scriptures to each other in the right ways. That is what the gift of pastor-teaching makes anybody able to do after they have been taught the Scriptures.
Rule #3: I certainly hope so, but biblical reasoning sometimes makes human logic look silly. That is one reason that the Bible is called the Wisdom of God (Luke 11:49; Proverbs 2:6) or the Mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16). So, whereas I always try to be reasonable in argument, I don't necessarily subscribe to human logical paradigms especially when discussing the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 3:18-20).
Rule #4: Of course God's Word ought to be the final authority (I don't consider His Word an opinion), but whether or not we agree on what that means is not something this rule actually ensures. Rather, it is a bogus statement when two people don't agree on what constitutes God's Word. You might think (and I think that you do) that your interpretation of the Bible is God's Word, whereas I believe that the actual text of the Bible is God's Word. Then we have a problem.
Rule #5: Of course, but you just said that you don't insult without provocation. It remains to be seen what you consider provocation and what you think an insult is.
In short, as I have said before, believe what you will. I came on this thread to advise you not to keep starting debates over things that you believe, since doing so is really a way to mislead fellow believers in Jesus Christ. about the truth. If you think that what you believe is true, then don't keep starting debates over it. Just carry on with it. Offer it as an answer whenever people ask questions or want to discuss the point. Evangelizing it as aggressively as you're doing might be showing that you know deep inside of you that it is false but each new "victory" you think you have in a debate makes you think that you are right and hardens your heart some more against the truth. If in doing this you end up misleading children of God, it would be better for you that you had a heavy millstone tied around your neck and you were drowned in the sea than that God judged you for it.
1 Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. 2 It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. 3 So watch yourselves. Luke 17:1-3a (NIV)
17 If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple. 1 Corinthians 3:17 (NIV)
Please feel free to ignore me. What you do is entirely your business. Both reward and consequence are yours to worry about, not mine. So I am not going to engage you again unless the spiritual health of fellow believers on this platform requires it of me. Go back to my other thread and you will see how you provoked me. The worst part you seems not to see or understand your short comings in your agurments. You are repeating the same thing in this thread later you will claim you answered all my questions. Let us focus on this thread. Show why this article is wrong, it's simple. Is Hell existing now, show me, is Hell forever show me in the Bible, you must have 2 to three bible verse to prove your point. Are the dead in Hellfire right now? Show me I did that in my article why is it difficult for you.? Leave lengthy response and refute my article, stop beating about the Bush. You accused me of teaching false teachings and when I want to clear my reputation and name, you say i want to win debate. Do you know the punishment that comes from this if either me or you is wrong?God does not take it likely. So show me where i am wrong in this article/thread. |

You are really funny. You will make a better career as a politician than a Pastor. Its obvious you are more interested in your ego than knowing the truth about God's word. Am not here to debate or to win arguments but am here to prove the truth about God's words not some false teaching by some clergyman. You failed to understand the following God's word. 2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. Which means no one can interpret the Bible how he likes it, but it must agree with every other said word of God. John 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Every part of God's word must agree, God is not the author of confusion. 1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. God created the brain and logic and wants us to use it for the exact purpose he made it, and that is for reasoning. That's why told us to. Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 41:21 Produce your cause, saith the LORD; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob. What causes people to stumble is false teaching like the one you advocate for, not the truth about God's word. How do you know am wrong? If you cannot point out how and where am wrong. Go back to my previous thread and see how you dodged answering my questions same thing you are doing on this particular thread. If you cannot prove my article as wrong, then what gives you the authority or moral right to say am wrong? Of course you were boxed into a corner just as you are boxed into a corner now by not been able to prove why I am wrong on what I wrote on Hell fire. You seem not to understand yourself and how you contradict yourself. I have wrote what I did about Hell and I am 100% sure that I am 100% right. You claim the Soul cannot die, and I gave you Bible verse that prove the soul can die and will die, till date you have not rationalized both arguments. Those Bible verses you claim are not connected are all connected you do not understand it, does not mean those who can should not. 2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: All the scripture is given for our reading and understanding. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. We are also asked to diligently read search and understand God's word which you are not doing. Mark 12:24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? Luke 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. |

sonmvayina: Why are you guys so fixated about what happens after death. You guys are missing the whole point. Life is for living. God only gave us his laws to guide us in the journey. Whatever happens after death will take care of itself..Anybody saying anything about after desth..is speculating...
Torah is a guide for life. I don't get why so many people are fixated on death. That's not living, imho. Do you think God is foolish for writing and informing us about what happens after death in his Book the Bible? Do you know that Africa and the whole World are held captive to Satan and his Demons becos of ignorance of what happens after death? Example if our Ancestors and people knew the truth that once a person dies he does not continue to live in any form in the other World as is been claimed neither can they help the living, we will no longer do things like Idol worship, consultation of dead ancestors, and many wicked and Satanic traditions which we presently practice will be stopped. No wonder Jesus said you shall know the truth and it shall set you free. Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope |

Splinz: Hello friend, thank you for your response.
Not really. I wanted us to have a foundation, starting with Christ's arrival. This is to make for easy understanding of events thereafter. I like it when it's one step at a time. So let's go...
No. Here's the truth:
"For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God, For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now" (Romans 8:19-22).
There you have it. The creation itself, i.e, the universe, awaits the glorious revealing of the sons and daughters of God, in order to be set free from its bondage and decay. This will happen when Christ sits on the "throne of his father David" and the saved are some sort of inaugurated or commissioned by Christ to begin the government of God or heaven on Earth. This period will spans for a thousand years in the first instance.
It's God own pleasure to renew the face of the Earth through His glorified sons and daughters; the saved.
Throughout the Bible, the word “heaven” is used to describe three locations: First, there is the atmosphere that envelops the earth; this is the first heaven. Next, the vast regions of outer space are collectively referred to as “heaven,” or “the heavens” (Psalms 115:16); this is the second heaven. Finally, the location of God’s throne is specifically called “the third heaven” by Paul (II Cor. 12:2).
Since no one is going into the third heaven - God's throne, even David is not in heaven (John 3:13, Acts 2:34), only two possibilities remain;
1. Outer space
2. The atmosphere or clouds (1 Thes. 4:17).
With our knowledge of physics, also note, clouds, as mentioned in 1 Thes. 4:17, are only a few miles above the earth. In fact, flying an airplane is in a sense, going to heaven.
So then, I Thes. 4:17 does not picture people going to the third heaven, but the glorified saints ascending into the atmosphere. Consider:
Christ arrives Jerusalem and is seated on His throne (Matt. 25:31-34). Next, He send out His angels to gather His elects from the four corners of the earth (Matt. 24:30-31). How else are the angels supposed to gather the saints if not through ascension and descension, what some people called the act of "disappearing and appearing"?
Again, note that these glorified saints are to appear before Christ's judgement seat, and it has been established that this is not in heaven but right here on Earth: Jerusalem.
The word in bold says it all; reserved in heaven. Simply put, a Christian's reward is kept or reserved in heaven, to be revealed or given to those that are worthy at the coming of Christ. That it is reserved in heaven does not mean the saved are to go to heaven in order to get it: Christ is bringing it. Here's it:
"And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work" (Rev. 22:12). Did you see that? He is coming with His reward and not us going to get it.
My friend, please let's talk another time. If there's anything I missed, please bring it forth.
Many thanks. I could hardly fault your explanation here. |

Splinz: Sorry, I'm not one of them.
Friend, they've been answered. Please take your time to go through your own questions again and then see my response to them, side by side. I took my time to make sure nobody misses it.
But of course if you feel there's something I didn't cover, please don't hesitate to draw my attention. Let's reason it together.
You did not answer them.
If God will burn the Earth with fire where will the saved be at that time? IF the bible says the new Jerusalem comes down from Heaven, does it mean that the saved will be on Earth while it comes down.can you explain it ?
I need to clear my doubts, am here to learn.
For the mean checkout this sites and there take on it.

ihedinobi2: Let me try to explain this again to you.
I'm a pastor-teacher. Therefore, it is always my joy to explain Scriptures to anyone who wishes to understand them. I rejoice in biblical questions. Otherwise, I wouldn't be here on Nairaland, since this platform is really an unpleasant place to be most of the time; at least, for me it is. So I would be happy to answer your questions. The reason that I haven't is that I have debated with you before. You were very insulting and very unreasonable then. Why would I want to repeat the experience? Even just mentioning to you that we have had this discussion before was reason enough for you to start hurling insults at me.
You clearly are here to win debates. I am not. I am here to offer help to understand the Bible, if anyone is willing to accept my help. If they are not, I keep my understanding to myself. The times when I make an exception and appear to go on the offensive are those times when unscrupulous clout-chasing men teach obvious lies to cause other believers to stumble. I didn't even attack you here as I could have, although I think of you as one of such men. Rather, I offered you a gentle reminder that you have discussed these things before and failed to give them proper attention. I warned you to be careful of teaching errors reminding you of the consequences of misleading believers in Jesus Christ. That's all.
If you were really serious about finding out what my arguments against your position are, you would have found them by now. I already gave you links that would have eventually led you to them. I will give you the actual links to them now, but that's all I will do. I can't copypaste them without having my post tagged and my account banned. That was why my post with my main account got hidden and why I'm responding with my other account.
Now, I know you. I am confident that this will only give you more reason to abuse me. If you do, this will be the last olive branch that I'm extending to you. I am very very good at mockery. If I consider it good for other believers, I will hound you wherever I find you teaching lies again and show you how I can help you embarrass yourself. I make a point of avoiding insolence, although I know that some things I say are considered insulting (like calling you a wannabe pastor-teacher who is making wild and foolish claims about hell), but even when I do, those things I say are very deliberate and put in a way that is an accusation rather than a mere insult. I don't believe that you are a true pastor-teacher, for example. I'm not even sure that you're a believer. But I know that what you did here is produce a teaching, therefore you are acting like you are a pastor-teacher. Your teaching includes claims about hell that even a rudimentary understanding of the Bible will easily show are wrong, therefore your production of those claims is wild and reckless. The "foolish" bit is because of your stubborn assumption that you are right and your declaration that disagreement with you is error even though the Bible is obvious in its declaration of your error.
I may end this conversation at this point after providing the link. Respond as you please. Feel free to ignore everything I have just said and insult me. I will handle it as it pleases me to do. Here are the links now:

I hope for your good. I hope that you will not end up bringing judgment upon yourself. I hope that rather than the condemnation of the destroyers of God's Church you will qualify for the blessing and peace of those who work hard to minister life to the children of God. I hope that this is your own hope too. I cannot remember insulting you all less when provoked by you. Secondly you are fond of dodging questions that box you into a corner. I really want you to debate with me,becos that's the purpose of this thread to open people's eyes to the truth of God's word and that I can achieve when you debate with me. but it seems you are afraid to challenge. A couple of years ago I was like you, I believed in eternal Hell, immortality of the soul and all the lies our clergymen has told us, although they are also ingnorant sometimes, till God opened my eyes and I saw the truth. Remember Jesus said you shall know the truth and it shall set you free. I do not debate or write thread to win arguments, why will I do that, I barely have time for myself, if you observe I left nairaland especially posting written articles for months because of the stress, rather my aim is through debate and carefull analyses people see the error in their argument and I also learn more. For us to continue in a debate we need to agree to some rules. 1. No question would be left unanswered. 2. Every bible verse must agree with each other rather than contracdict themselves. 3. We must apply logic and sense to each issue. 4. That God's word is the final opinion not man. And many others I cannot remember now. 5. No insults. 6. |
