If you enter twitter this morning , u will just be siring clips of how APC rigged out APC in the just concluded primaries at various ward levels.
Make everybody just give up and accept that APC will rig themselves in at the general elections in 2027. The way they rigged the primaries was just so shameless . 🤦♂️ |

semid4lyfe: How consistently do you think he gets those event hosting gigs?
There's a lot of competition in the industry with seasoned professionals and young cats in the game.
Also, many actors, comedians, TV anchors/Radio OAPs don crossover and dey do this event hosting and MC thing now. Off hand, there's
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Ik Osakioduwa Gbenga Adeyinka Bovi Basket Mouth Nancy Isime Kie Kie Ali Baba Gordons AY Dotun Roby Ekpo Seyi Law. Koffi Rufai Oseni Ruben Abati. Toke Makinwa
I have no doubt he'll be getting gigs here and there but I dont think it'd be enough to meet domestic/family responsibilities and maintain his lifestyle.
He should go back to radio and TV so he can draw a monthly income while doing the event hosting thing on the side. Most of the people u listed here won’t get the kind of gig Frank gets . No serious corporate organization will give Kiekie , AY, Rufus, Roby Ekpo, Rufai, Koffi, Reuben Abati, Seyilaw, Gordons or Dotun the kind of gig you would give Frank . The only person that can rival Frank on ur List is Ebuka . I’m telling u this because I was present at the event and I know what Frank delivered which none of those jokers on ur list can deliver . |

Recently, the Court seized his property worth hundreds of millions.
Frank no go fit near am oh Alibaba na senior man and he married the right woman whom he supported her career . I have been seeing a lot of misogynistic stuff being written online since this Frank’s saga. I deliberately mentioned Alibaba ni. Alibaba’s wife was an ED at defunct heritage bank and now an associate director at a capital house . She’s into business consulting . That woman never come out to open Alibaba yansh before . Nobody knows whether na Alibaba Dey foot her bills or it’s the other way round . Sometimes in this life , who you marry really matters and how you conduct yourself also matters. Not all women will watch you cheat and take everything in like typical African woman that believes “African men are polygamous in nature” |

izzou: I have a friend that works in the Corporate field. He's just doing okay
But his father worked with Ministers and even an Ex Governor who is now a Senator.
Sometimes, I ask him how his father was well connected and he's just going through the same process with us. He says his Dad was just a man that did his job, and went home. He didn't really tap into the opportunities he had to network.
Some people are like that. You just think they should be connected, but they aren't like that.
It's possible Frank was the kind of guy that prefers to swallow his problems, than jump from one place to another
In all of these drama, no man has said he fed Frank or borrowed him money. I understand ur guy , there are people like him who like to forge their own path without concerning themselves with their father’s . However , Frank is out there with access to corporate clients , individual clients and what have u. Aside from whatever investment he must have had , the line of job he’s in has limitless opportunities. He has a brand that is well recognized . He has what it takes to eat till old age sef . I believe if he lives within his earning ability he shouldn’t have any reason to depend on his woman for sponsorship at all. It's possible that Baba might have been struggling. And just being a Host isn't enough. Events come occasionally.

I did not follow Frank Edoho and his ex-wife’s sob stories , neither do I have an opinion on their affairs . But I find it hard to believe Frank is actually broke to the extent of relying on his wife’s benevolence sha .
Around May/June last year I attended an evening corporate event where frank was the host. He did really well with everyone having a nice time . I don’t how much they paid him but I want to believe he must have earned good six figures for that event .
I’m really wondering how is it that someone who can attract such gig would suddenly be broke to the extent of needing his wife to sponsor his lifestyle …… except maybe he’s been living quite above his means sha . |

mostob: NGL, I'm nervous. Like so so nervous. Then I saw this on Facebook
CRAZY FACT: Despite Liverpool conceding 52 goals in the Premier League this season, there has been only one team which failed to score against Liverpool this season. And that team is Arsenal.
It's the first time Arsenal have been the only team not to score against a specific side since 1998-99, when they were also the only team not to score against Liverpool.
Arsenal finished second that season with 1 point behind Manchester united who won the league.
We also lost our second to last game against leeds united away (1-0) and then winning 1-0 against Aston Vila on the last day of the season.
I don't know why I'm having weird feelings like this. Our second to last game is Burnley and our last game is crystal palace.
Could this be a script?? No Dey put urself under unnecessary pressure . We are winning the Burnley and Crystal palace . We are not falling for any mind games these last two games , we are coming out with the W in the two games to clinch the title . The players know the expectations of the fan base and they will not let us down . They have a chance to become the greatest Arsenal team in history by winning 3 consecutive games against teams they’ve beaten in the past . They have enough to motivate them . Make we fans no Dey doubt them abeg ! |

izzou: The Nigerian Government may not be wrong.
So, these terrorists usually don't use their real names. Those names are mostly a title attached to that rank.
Once you get to that rank, you will start bearing that name.
So, it's possible that they killed that particular Commander in 2024, and this is just another one that has assumed the role again.
It's possible oh....You also might be correct that it's propaganda Bayo Onanuga has admitted they lied with their claim in 2024 that they took out the ISIS terrorists. I guess that lays to rest any speculation/suggestion that maybe they took out the person occupying the rank back then. He blames the misinformation on imperfect intelligence in their counterterrorism efforts . https://www.nairaland.com/8672988/bayo-onanuga-admits-militarys-error |

GloriousGbola: i dont seem to remember making any comments
but since you have chosen to put words in my mouth
1) Keep the car, and we add an additional one year warranty - the car was already defective when sold 2) Take another model, and add an extra fee for the cost difference - basically, they want to do like your corner corner road side hustler who sells you a brand new product with k-leg and then says okay, pay us extra and we will replace with another model 3) Collect your full money back. - 260m in 2024 is not same as 260m in 2026
car dealers of all classes , unfortunately are usually dodgy. years ago my colleague took delivery of a brand new honda which died in traffic within a week of buying it. i had to tow him to a safe place. they replaced teyh car with anothr brand new one that it tured out was midly accidented with the door badly resprayed
seems to me like they sold her a partly refurb car at brand new price - not open box/return price - which like i aid is how we do in these parts You are right . None of the options proposed by the dealer seem fair to the customer . The only deal that will be fair to the customer is if the dealer provides the same year and model of vehicle as replacement without the buyer dropping a dime . What I don’t know is why the court suggested that coscharis should be shut down . The court could’ve ordered coscharis to replace the car without expecting any money from the customer . |

GloriousGbola: my opinion - that is the power of social media which people use to make up a reality that does not exist. it is also why imho people have to be careful quoting grok and chatbots
some people have learnt to game the system. literally repeat your version of the truth on twitter long enough and it becomes internet truth.
the only people imho who would have called ambode God sent are his people in epe. ambode definitely worked to develop that pat of Lagos
the online praise for ambode is like the hatred of amaechi
ambode was an ok typical naija governor until he was booted out at which point the anti apc geng decided to reinvent him as lagos best governor and try to make him larger than life. amechi was an excellently performing governor until he fell out with mama p and had to port to APC, after which he became a useless governor . and of course wicked wike the slayer [and beader]of apc, buyer and pocketer of supreme court, uncouth and violent thug was the heroic face of the resistance until his heel turn
back then some people were actually warning that ambode's antics could cost APC Lagos.
over to bros agege - i know the man is itching Ambode actually did well in terms of construction work. He did way more than Epe and Agege projects. In 2016 Ambode commissioned 114 roads in the 57 LGA/LCDAs of the state . I don't think any governor has done that before within a year after being sworn in. See, Ambode's problem is political and not that of incompetency. In fact, the work Ambode did in 4 years as governor stands out when juxtaposed with what Sanwoolu has done in 8 years. Ambode opened up areas in Alimosho, Abule Egba and Kola/AIT side (Alagbado). It was even Ambode that fixed Airport road from Charity to International Airport entrance and did pedestrian bridge on the road. It's just funny that only APC people think Ambode didn't do well as governor. Most average Lagosians who don't have any party bias and have travelled around Lagos will tell you that Ambode actually did a lot within the shortest possible time. Yes there's the issue of projects he abandoned and the whole PSP/Visionscape matter, but if we are being sincere Ambode did well as far as the projects he initiated and delivered are concerned.

How can he replace a "localized "national anthem with "Nigeria we hail thee" that was composed by a Briton and handed over to us by our colonial masters in 1960? Roland17: Nwanne, he is getting canceled because he has been woeful. Desmond has nothing to show for the 3 terms he has represented Surulere and that makes it quite easy to cancel if that is the term of convenience.
State Representatives from Ikeja (Faleke) Jim Ikorodu (Benson), Badagry, Alimosho, Lagos Island brought State and Federal impact to their respective constituencies. They had more engagements with their constituents. These guys attracted more presence and spotlight to their constituencies. Desmond doesn’t rank top 10 performers in the Lagos State Assembly. So on what basis should Desmond return?
This isn’t even close to the A. Ambode where everyone wailed and wished he came back because of the landmark development witnessed, particularly in mainland. Lagos politics, especially under APC is extremely competitive right now, if you make it easy for them, dem go delete you because there are so many young bright minds in the pipeline..
He is a tough and impossible sell to the people of Surulere. There is a reason is out begging for forgiveness. He had enough time and the resources to make a good impact but failed. Make e go rest. If he manages the situation well, he would get a position that would keep him going. If he doesn’t manage it well, he can return to Nollywood. You are mixing things up here bro. All those Faleke, Jimi Benson, etc are federal lawmakers while Desmond is a state lawmaker. Whatever federal project those guys attracted to their constituency, Gbaja attracted multiples of it to Surulere while he was a federal lawmaker. The truth is the bar is set really low for stet house of aseembly members. Most of them do the barest minimum, not just Desmond in Surulere but others in diffrent constituencies in the state. Most state of assembly members focus on sharing exercise books with their face printed on it to primary and secondary school pupils, providing daily school bus services to public school students in their constituency, employ road sweepers to complement LAWMA, buy refuse collection trucks, etc. They don't even have a serious hold on what project the state government does and whether they bring it to their constituency. It's obmy when the state government starts the project they will quickly posituon themselves as if they influenced the project. I know quite a handful of them and I know dem no really dey try. Desmond is definitely not the worst amongst the state house of assembly members, he just get him own issues with his party ni. |
