Well, I don't think Tinubu has done anything wrong on this one if the news is true. The Lagos international airport is the busiest in Nigeria and the number one in terms of the volume of traveller's it processes on an annual basis.

Abuja may be the official capital of Nigeria but we all know Lagos is the commercial capital where majority of international passengers always touch down when they fly into the country. The Abuja international airport was rehabilitated under Buhari and I think the Enugu international airport too.

There's actually nothing wrong in Tinubu's government carrying out a large scale rehabilitation on the Lagos international airport if it will take it up to international standard. I believe you travelled through the Lagos international airport on Ur way to Canada and you also passed through other international airports before getting to Ur destination. According to people who have travelled same route, the Lagos airport still has a lot of catching up to do with its counterparts in other parts of the world. If Tinubu spending this 720 billion on it will reduce that gap, why not?

Tinubu may be a Nepo grandpa but fixing the Lagos international airport is a rational and commercially sound decision.

When dem cut my net carry laptop and iphone around 2017 or thereabouts, I had to pay to report at the police station.

Even the police that followed me to check the scene of the incident , I gave him transport fare back to station.

I would not have bothered reporting but, I heard it is best one reports such incidents in case the thieves go rob elsewhere and they drop either of my phone or sim at the scene of that crime one can be in trouble except u had already reported earlier at a police station.

People no dey even sign any bail form sef. U only sign bail form when the issue borders on maybe they are trying to recover money from one party and needs to sign undertaking that he will be paying weekly/monthly.

Once police collect bribe (which they call bail), dem go release u and tell u to go & sin no more.

I drove a friend to go see his relative that was arrested for doing "runs"at her work place and was caught. The police arrested the two ladies involved, investigated and claimed the amount the two ladies had stolen from their employer was over 30m but their boss was willing to accept 20m and have them released instead of prosecuting them.

The police held the two ladies for over a week at their station (Which is illegal) until their relatives were able to cough out 10m each to refund the boss from whom the ladies allegedly stole.

Guess what? The police collected 800k each from each lady's family as "bail" after the total 20m the police recovered on behalf of the ladies' boss. Something tells me that apart from 1.6m the police collect as bail, the ladies' boss will still pay them for their "service" out of the 20m the police recovered.

According to my friend, the police didn't keep any record of the whole thing. They were happy the whole recovery business worked out without having to prosecute the ladies (which won't fetche them any income) and were advising my friend to talk to his relative among the two ladies to turn a new leaf. .Naija police mad gan, after dem collect ur money finish, dem go come advise u.

After extorting bail/bribe for my release from my parents for wandering, they tore the yeye statement I wrote.

That's why I said except it is a major case like one being caught in a case of theft/armed robbery, assault, manslaughter, etc which can always be re-opened, they really don't keep records like that.

I always have my reservations when I see those skit makers and content creators flaunt wealth they've acquired from their hustle. When I see them flaunt cars and houses they buy, I just shake my head and hope they keep money for security because I know the attention they draw to themselves could either be positive or negative.

One of those Tik Tok influencers ; Salo was shot somewhere around Lekki and the Gold Cuban chain on his neck which costs tens of millions was removed. This is a guy that would brag on Tik Tok live about the house he bought in Lekki, how he lost his Venza to fire incident and bought a Mercedes Benz GLE as replacement to emphasize the point that he is a big boy.

It's been over a year he was shut now, and today he is almost crippled from the gunshot wound. I watched one of his TikTok videos recently and he expressed his regret about the lifestyle he led up to the moment he was shot. Someone who was always boasting about his street credibility was shot by the same people he thought were his fans hailing him for money not knowing they were robbers.

As for the real business men who are earning their living online like the late fish guy, I think they just need to be more security conscious and also refrain from letting people know their true worth. For example , letting people know u process orders running into tens of millions from ur marketing activities online puts one in serious danger in a society like ours.
