Ellexy:It is sadly funny and amusing that is the governor of a state. |
Police has always been exploiting people for illegally turning mile 2 bridge . Concerned citizens decided to erect a signboard warning fellow citizens it is an illegal U-turn in order to avoid further police exploitation. Guess what ? The signboard has been removed and the bridge damaged in the process of its removal . |

iamoyindamola:Make all of them Getat! Let them focus on fixing roads in those areas, fix street light and improve security instead of wasting time on non issues like name change. For over a year now people have been complaining about Gbadada-Oshodi expressway. From Iyana Oworo down to Oshodi, there's no functioning streetlight on that full stretch of the road. Neither the state government nor the LGA's think of solving that problem. People get robbed at night at that charly boy bus stop regularly; if u listen to all these Yoruba radio programs dedicated to combating crime u will hear people call in often and lament the rate of robbery at that bus stop. One chance operators also operate unhindered on that axis on a regular basis. It will make sense if govenrment focus on fixing those problems sha |
People like Sam Larry actually do not deserve to speak where reasonable people talk. He is a thug who was caught on camera threatening and assaulting the late Mohbad. Whatever hate he is getting today, he attracted to himself by his past actions. He is not in a position to mock anybody . He is a bully who is getting bullied online by other badly raised adults like him. End of Discussion |
Sixty six hundred . 👌 |
TemporaryHansel:I like to be open minded on this . I don’t think anybody is compromised , it’s just normal for them to share their opinion if they believe GMO isn’t as bad as we assume . It’s also not a bad idea for people who are anti-GMO to share their own perspective too . It’s only when discussion is made around the subject we can genuinely understand who is right and who is not . |
https://x.com/afrisagacity/status/1949085637690191903?s=46 Roland17 please go though this thread . What do u make of Dr. Ify Rhodes-Vivour’s position on this GMO matter ? Considering she’s a practicing molecular geneticist by profession ; does her position call for genuine concern or one should believe she’s being political ? Also she’s been a prize winner from the Bill and Melinda Gates’ foundation for her research work in the past . |
CrystalTiger:Well , I don’t know about what was said or unsaid in the so called fight between Omojuwa and frank but certainly Frank has things going well for him. It’s just like saying because u don’t see Alibaba often on the screen that means he fell off. He Dey chop better with corporate shows ; the kind of events that u already have ur fulll fees deposited to ur account before u even leave ur house . And he’s even sure to meet other execs that can give him more gigs at the venue . To me, I believe that’s a decent and respectable way of earning a living compared to what Omojuwa stands for or does sha . |
TemporaryHansel:Well , if one made it through being in everybody’s face in the media space , it is understandable people assume such person fell off the moment they don’t see him on the screens or hear so much about him often . But the truth is people like Frank Edoho can’t grow hungry with the kind of talent he has and the networking he must have done when he was on TV . In fact , it’s his price that will even make some clients unable to pay him . |
Shegzdave:Omo, the kind things wey that girl talk fit put her for danger o. Forget Osakpolo first, the whole number of guys she mentioned while dragging her friend fit make those guys find her o. Imagine saying Seyi Tinubu dey buy birkin bag for her friend and that one sneaking into Abuja to minister to Seyi 😲
|
iamoyindamola:They can't give u luxury bro. Those kind of hotels are just normal okay hotels. When u are talking luxury, u are talking about Transcorp, Marrriot, Eko Hotels, Raddison and the likes which are obviously not as cheap as 65k. Enyimba just dey try hype themselves with that talk |
Ihebu4chelsea:Even 65k hotel no be luxury bro. As at 2024, king guest room at Transcorp Hilton is 245k per night . If dem talk say dem lodge am for let's say 170k luxury hotel, I go believe say dem serious. The kind hype they are trying to make with the 65k luxury hotel statement no follow at all |
Roland17:E shock me too ![]() They should've left that part out cometely, it takes seriousness out of whatever point they are trying to make |
iamoyindamola:Wait did Enyimba just claim five star hotel is 65k? 😂😂😂 |
Roland17:Exactly! This is what just happened ; now Hudeyin and other guys are pushing a whole lot of conspiracy theory viewpoints and people dey pander to their narrative. I guess more medical practitioners and food scientists who are knowledgeable in that field may need to come out to lend their voice to the matter |
Roland17:You didn't address the point I raised in my post. I said people are skeptical because most of the discussions around GMO is centered around it's advantages and less said about it's health risks. I think I saw a glimpse of this in what Shegzdave said about Aproko doctor's video promoting GMO. HE was saying the guy talked so much about the be befits but not enough about the disadvantages. That's why some of the guys on X think Aproko doctor may have been paid to influence pro-GMO discussion without dwelling much on its disadvantages. Yes I'm aware some of the food we eat have been modified, but u will agree our food have not been modified to the extent of the ones u have over there. From livestock to planted food, there's still some element of natural in what we consume in naija. If not, this discussion about Africa embracing GMO won't be happening. |
Roland17:Well, I'm not in the medical line and don't know much about these things. I was only pointing out the general sentiments concerning those health risks and people linking it to how almost everything over there is either geenticaly modified or processed food. I don't know enough to argue for or against GMO |
Roland17:I think the issue most people who are skeptical about the whole GMO thing have is the bolded. Like they keep hearing the benefits outweighs the disadvantages, but in actual sense not much is being said about the advantage. It's easy to read up on the advantages, but not much discussion is centered around it's disadvantages when it's being discussed. That in itself leave room for conspiracy theories to germinate |
Shegzdave:Most Nigerians are angry by default ; na why dem dey beg u before anything like "Sorry, excuse me", "Abeg , get out! " ![]() |
raumdeuter:I don't know anything about GMO o and I cannot argue for or against, but I read up there where you mentioned how genetically modified poultry made it possible for the US to cater for over 300m population who feed on average of 10 billion GMO chicken annually. Don't u think people arguing against GMO may be worried about the fact that America having a very high number of people with health complications like Obesity,Autism,Dementia, etc may be due to what they consume(Which are majorly GMO)? |
[quote author=Shegzdave post=136222016]This is so accurate ‘Do you know who I am?’ is the crux of the discussion😂😂 think this thing in naija is about how exposed the two drivers are o and how cool both parties are One of my colleagues recently had another driver run into the side of his vehicle when he wanted to change lanes on his way to the office about 2 months ago. He said immediately he came down the guy was very apologetic and was wiling to take responsibility. The guy later told him he didn't know when he lost concentration because he was partly thinking and partly dozing. His wife was admitted at Federal medical center Ebutte Meta and he's been shuttling between their home on the island and the hospital on the mainland. He has hardly slept in the past 3 days. My guy just weak. They had a gentlemanly agreement in which my guy waited for the other guy's mechanic to get to the scene and towed the vehicle to his workshop. He had to leave his car for close to a week while the mechanic fixed it. The other guy said he will recover the money from his insurance. I'm sure if my guy was not a gentleman, he would've burst the other guy's mouth with blow before even hearing anything the guy has to say. |
Spy360:Monday sat for that WAEC in 2008 as a 38-year-old adult that was most likely doing well financially. He didn't fail WAEC because he was indigent, he failed because he was dull. |
diggz:Most of these guys zoned out already. More like they feel the country has gotten to a point where it can no longer be salvaged, so they decide to hustle for the paper by running gigs for the people who put us here. They just want to get whatever they can get for themselves and their families from the ruins. Dem no send anybody again. That's the only reason they can be this shameless doing what they do. Na the ignorant common man people on the streets wey dey swallow this their propaganda due to their own bias I dey pity Sha |
Omo! The way these guys dey shamelessly hustle and run gigs lasan! Is it because they know Nigerians generally don't have memory or because they believe Nigerians would always find a way to accept abnormal as normal? He said she did no wrong 😲
|
seankafor:Nothing special about the film ; it's just because we have been served with so many mid movies for so long that's why Nigerians are hyping it above the roof. The actors interpreted their roles well, but I still noticed the producers/directors didn't pay enough attention to Continuity in at least two different scenes |
TemporaryHansel:If you don't desire marraige and raising of kids as a person, that's fine fine. You can't however begrudge them for choosing marriage at that age. It's their choice |
TemporaryHansel:It is very simple. Women have a biological clock that keeps ticking. It is normal for them to try to "settle down" by getting married and having kids before menopause comes calling. They don't have the luxury of time some men who marry age 40 and above have. |
TemporaryHansel:Let me just tell u what I feel about this whole coalition thingy and how the ex-Waziri boys have suddenly found their voice. Atiku is a northern project that will require massive endorsement of southerners before he can have a shot at the presidency in 2027. There's a general sentiment that it is the south's turn to rule for 8 years uninterrupted and it will take massive endorsement of southerners for Atiku who is not so popular amongst the talikawas in the north to unseat Tinubu. Atiku has a baggage of alleged corruption scandals hanging over his head as seen in the attached screenshot and it is understandable if the emerging young population who desire a abetter Nigeria don't want to 4ck with him. I mean people born in 2000 who were only 7 years old when he left Aso rock as VP will read some of these things and wonder why they should vote for a man with such scandalous records as 27-year Olds in 2027. Obi may not be perfect but every decent person with conscience will see he is not cut from the same fabric as Atiku who would loot mindlessly and have his friends and associates getting Nepositic benefits like the incumbent Tinubu. To answer Ur question, I believe Obi will contest the ADC primary and he will lose to Atiku like u hoped. (At least I've not read it anywhere he said he won't participate in the primary like everyone else). I want to believe Obi will live up to his word that he will not be VP to anybody and as such, goodluck to Atiku and ADC finding heavyweight VP candidate and at the same time convincing Obi's supoorters to support a 81 year old corrupt ex-VP in 2027. We would be here to watching how Atiku's dirty dollars and "organic supporters" make him president in 2027 🤡

CrystalTiger:Where have u been? This has been in the news since 2023-2024 na. The federal government obtained series of loans with our crude still in the ground pledged as source of repayment. |
iamoyindamola:The two of them na distraction jare; two attention seekers having a go at themselves 🤦♂️ |
