With fooools like this in majority in this country, Nigeria does not stand a chance of ever getting better and Politicians will always take the citizens for a ride.

The only reason Nigerian leaders go abroad is because of privacy and he thinks that justifies the millions of dollars lost annually yo medical tourism.

Sometimes I feel some people put serious extra efforts into being stewpppiiid, because what is this? 🤷‍♂️.

That leaders of a sovereign nation may be at the mercy of foreign doctors who may even be agents of other countries should be a source of concern to sane mind. I saw videos of Buhari's daughter going into the hospital take from afar. The fact that some random private individual can take that videos sef shows any enemy agent that wants to arm the former president can do as they so please. So what privacy is there in the foreign country?

Have you forgotten what happened during end sars? That's what GEJ should've done to buhari supporters. Gej is a weakling. He had the tools to save us from APC, but man was a coward.
That would've made him a tryant like Buhari. That's a No No for a man that has conscience...... You can't be condemning Buhari's actions and expect others to emulate him
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 8:58am On Jul 14, 2025
Jonathan has condemned the fighting and called for peace.

“It is regrettable that when the international observers are commending us for credible elections, we witness violence in some parts of the country, it is really regrettable because it is uncalled for,” he said.

“It is wrong for you to allow miscreants to infiltrate your ranks and perpetrate such dastardly acts as the mindless destruction of worship places … this act is worse than the rigging of the elections"

Muhammadu Buhari, defeated opposition presidential candidate
Buhari, a northerner, said people just “reacted to the results” and said he did not know what triggered the violence.

“It was so spontaneous that I didn’t know about it. I did not ask them to start it, but I asked them to stop, especially the burning of churches and other religious places.”

Buhari, a former military ruler, also denied instigating the deadly violence in the north but blamed it on what he calls a rigged election.
When they tell u buhari lost elections 3 times before winning in 2015, this is the part tbey don't tell u. They make it seem like he was divinely destined to rule the country, but they don't tell u how he handled the loss of 2011 elections that led to loss of lives.

Elder/Temporary Hansel the 2011 post election vilonce which over 800 innocent lives in the north was what Jonathan tried to avoid it's reoccurrence by accepting the outcome of the 2015 elections.

Donjazzet who thinks Peter Obi was top docile by not protesting or making inflammatory stament after the irregularity thatarred the 2023 election which resulted in the loss, this was what he avoided. Methinks u should be grateful Obi was not as heartless and insensitive as Buhari was after he lost the 2011 elections. It is safe to say Buhari stepped on people's blood to realize his life long dream of being a civilian president.

As for those gaslighting others on how to react to Buhari's death, the truth is you can't tell people how to feel about their realities. Some families never remained the same because of Buhari's actions and inactions before and during his tenure as president of this country. Some of you people's parents celebrated the death of Abacha because of how his rule impacted negatively on their lives. That is the same way Buhari's rule impacted negatively on other people's lives

Which kind of gaslighting is this?

He was commander in chief. He was president ffs.

Keeping quiet when those under your command are perpetrating evil is complicity. No excuse abeg.

If the testimonies people are giving about him will send him to hell so be it.

I mean, this is justice isn't it?
Big time gaslighting. A whole lot of his appointees stole money from Nigeria at a time everybody agreed Nigeria be putting in place austerity measures. But somehow the commander-in-chief is getting a free pass.

To think that was the same thing we all vilified Jonathan for and had him removed from office..... Today people would talk about Diezani, Sambo and others who stole under Jonathan's government. People would say it was justifiable that Jonathan was removed for the many sins of his appointees.

But here is someone making a glowing tribute about Buhari and absolving him of the massive corruption under his administration by claiming They Failed Him, he knew and bore it quitely. 🤦‍♂️. I never see this kind double standard begore in my life. To think the nation was more prosperous during the reign of the former sef.

It is called tit-for-tat
Keep.telling urself that and keep believing it.

Buhari's unpopular government had been trying to gag social media as far back as 2019. It was the Twitter he banned that helped thwart the efforts in 2019.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2019/12/18/nigerians-raise-alarm-over-controversial-social-media-bill

When ENDSARS happened in 2020, he was angry and Lai Muhammed kept on blaming social media for the escalation because they couldn't hide the attrocities committed by the state actors during and after October 20 2020.

That Case of Buhari's deleted tweet was just a convinient excuse for Buhari's government to carry out their long time heart desire of gaging social media.....

Good thing they realized it didn't work like they intended anyways and they shamefully lifted the ban after making unrealistic demands that were never met

A whole former president couldn’t build one hospital that can attend to him- not one hospital in his state- not anywhere in the whole entire country- after spending a whole 8years in office- and still end up dying in a London hospital bed.

What a shame. What an utter disgrace.
To be fair it's not just him but a general shame that none of all our past and present leaders have been able to build and equip a world class hospital where premium Healthcare can be accessed without having to go abroad.

The fact that when they go abroad, they are at the mercy of foreign powers should actually be a source of concern to them as regards national security.

The judge said the Nigerian police had a policy requirement for officers to rape, maim, torture, enslave, disappear and murder Nigerians, adding all of these were in violation of the Rome Statute on crimes against humanity.

“Mr Eriator, as a member of the police force, was complicit in those crimes because he could not have been unaware of the repeated and systematic acts of violence and torture,” the Canadian judge stated. “The fact that he remained within the Force, and because of his position, he was said by the Minister as having made a significant contribution to the crimes.”

Mr Eriator, however, denied the allegations, saying he was only a police officer and did not participate in the criminal activities of the force.

In his ruling, the judge stated that Mr Eriator was inadmissible to Canada due to his previous ties to the Nigerian police.

Mr Eriator entered Canada illegally through the land borders from the U.S. in October 2017. He voluntarily joined the Nigerian police in June 2009 and rose to the position of corporal.

The ex-corporal was also assigned to checkpoints during two past elections in Nigeria, including the 2015 presidential election. He was also assigned to the now-disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Ikeja for a period before leaving the force in 2016.

Mr Eriator’s case added to the growing list of Nigeria’s ex-police officers who had been denied permanent stay in Canada over their involvement or association with the police’s crime-related activities.

In 2021, Judge Sébastien Grammond denied asylum to a former SARS operative, Olushola Popoola, on the grounds of his association with the brutal unit and the police force.

Another former police officer, Charles Ukoniwe, could not get asylum in Canada after Judge Patrick Gleeson in Ottawa threw away his review request over his association with the notorious MOPOL unit of the Nigerian police.

Mr Gleeson held that any Nigerian who willingly joined the Nigerian police would be guilty by association before the Canadian judicial system and the United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, notwithstanding whether or not the person committed gruesome crimes often associated with the security agency.

Bin just wan know wetin dey happen exactly, cause I know it couldn't have been just a coincidence that the coroners findings and the direction of VDMs fresh investigation was pretty much validating eachother.

VDM must have been following the inquest, and seeing where the judgement was headed chose to preempt them with his supposed investigation.
Exactly !

Some bloggers who follow the coroner inquest regularly post updates on the sittings on social media . Each time they come back , they do narrate the events of the day.

I remember after the last sitting in April one of the bloggers mentioned it that the coroner inquest has been adjourned to a later date when the final verdict will be delivered . As at that time I already know the verdict will center around the nurse being liable because of her lack of qualification to treat him (she’s an auxiliary nurse and not even a regular registered nurse who is still not qualified to treat him ) .

VDM would just do anything to have his name remain in the mouth of Nigerians. I give it to him tho , he’s very calculative and knows how to latch on Nigerians’ hero complex

People like that can't claim they were deceived by NNPC's windows dressing, they made themselves available as useful propaganda tool. The same refinery he declared operational few months ago is what they are considering putting up for sale due to redundancy.

Anyways, I forsee a situation where the government will eventually put up the refineries for sale and Tinubu's loyalists will ask us to be grateful and commend Tinubu for being bold enough to take the bold decision 😂
