He's not making the statement while speaking at a conference in Africa or Nigeria. He's making a tweet using a global platform that reaches different people all around the world and he's tagging a group of people as evil. People just trying to live their life and has done nothing to hurt him. If a popular Christian musician used his Nigerian religious beliefs and upbringing to tweet "all Muslims are evil" he is insulting Muslims world wide not just the ones in Africa/Nigeria. Would you be ok with such a tweet?
