diggz: Bro I no fit argue against wetin you hear, but I fit tell you wetin I know.
The marriage between 9ice and Toni fell apart around 2009 or 2010, which was about the same time his beef with Ruggedman officially started.
In 2010 or 2011 9ice released Bashorun Gaa. Then I think he did GRA/CNN 2014 or 2015.
Abeg go listen to all 9ice previous albums he made before 2011 including Bashorun Gaa and the listen to the ones like GRA/CNN and co he released from 2014 upwards then let me know if na the same 9ice voice you Dey hear I bought hard copies of Versus and Bashorun Gaa he released same date . I don’t consider all those GRA/CNN as anything quality at all. That’s why I’m saying the marriage crisis messed him up . Versus and Bashorun Gaa were still quality songs , but as the whole marriage issue and his misadventure into politics happened after those two albums be his body of work became shiit. |

diggz: Rugged beef no reach end 9ice career o. Not even the marriage. 9ice wey release bangers after bangers during that period sef The beef and marital crisis affected his popularity . I’ve come to realize that in Nigerian music industry , u need to be releasing songs steadily and continue to be in people's face or else u will fade away no matter how talented u are . Initially I was one of the few Olamide fans that always complain about how he releases too many singles/albums . I felt he was releasing too many works and wasn’t spacing them enough . But seeing what happened to 9ice , I think Olamide knew what he was doing . In fact , I think Olamide going into studio and dropping at least one album and several singles every year is what has kept him up there till now . I don’t think it was really about 9ice losing his voice , it was just a case of 9ice being away from scene for too long and when he wanted to come back he was releasing songs that were mid at best. People wey no get voice reach am sef Dey release songs wey Dey bang. That his misadventure into politics also derailed his career . |

semid4lyfe: Alapomeji was hot that year sha
Tems was 13 years old when Alapomeji boasted that he'll bag a Grammy.
17 years after no Grammy and 9ice has gone into musical oblivion and is just a footnote in the history of Afrobeats.
Truly, the future belongs to the youths. That marital crisis and resultant beef with rugged man ended 9ice’s career . He just lost focus , his lyrical tap ran dry and he just couldn’t produce hit any longer . |

Gary Neville labelled Arsenal defender Gabriel as 'disrespectful' after he was spotted laughing in the face of Manchester City striker Erling Haaland in Sunday's 5-1 win. The Gunners went 1-0 up at the Emirates Stadium in only the second minute courtesy of Martin Odegaard's third goal of the season.
After seeing the ball hit the back of City's net, Gabriel gleefully ran up the pitch to celebrate with his team-mates, pausing along the way to mock Haaland. While Arsenal fans revelled in the moment on social media, pundit Gary Neville was less than impressed with the Brazilian's actions. Speaking on The Gary Neville podcast, he said: 'I don't like it. I think it's a bit disrespectful. I know Haaland is the pantomime villain here today but there was something about it I didn't like.
'I was many things, and that [winding others up] was my game, but I never did that. I never went and screamed in a player's face. It made me feel a little bit uneasy.' Source: Brilla FM on FB Gary Neville is definitely mad cos that's the only explanation for this hypocrisy. When Halland threw the ball at Gabriel's back of head he didn't talk about Halland being disrespectful ; just Gabriel jumping in Halland face to celebrate and he's yarning dust. |

Rice was almost involved in all the goals yesterday. He just dey press the city players, dey block attacking lines and dey spray pass upfornt to start attacking moves.
I am glad we got Rice and not that we were foolishly trying to price him for less like we lost out on Suarez back then under Wenger. |

swiz123: If he's reinstated, he won't do anything to them because he himself understands that nothing is ever truly personal in politics. I didn't say he will do anything to them, rather I said " I am wondering what the APC supporters who have been bashing him since his ouster will do if and when he's reinstated ". I mean a whole lot of them that supported him up till December suddenly started bashing him and talking about his corruption allegations that has been in the news like forever . They all turned blind eyes to it and even the issue about his name not being in the Supreme court roll call for lawyers. Like , they dug out the 2020 issue when he was ousted and dared him to contest his ouster so he can be buried politically. I am wondering if such party members will swallow all of these and accept him to be their leader once more (The number 3 man in Lagos politics) or they will revolt . |

Sportsweb: this doesn't mean anything. Some are not just lucky.
Nicki has no Grammy but Megan of yesterday has, soon Glorilla and sexxyred fit win before Nicki.
Miley Cyrus recently won after 15+ years.
If Davido continues working, he will get it one day.
Before 2024, he has never been nominated for Grammy at all. But in the last two years, he has 4 nominations which he lost.
Burna boy lost 3 nominations before winning one and since then has lost 4 times. Baba mi, plenty talk no dey full basket o. A wise man once said " Results cancel Insults" . Until that happens, I'm afraid u will have to endure the tag of "0 Grammy for Old cat " o |

I was like : How can u not score when u have just one single player who can't use his hand staying in the middle of a wide goal post like that ? To me, it just seem like he was under a spell. He doesn't even need to do too much to score that ball sef. Odegaard scored his own with a keeper who can use hands in goal, but Havertz lose his own against a fellow player that wasn't even well positioned. I was just glad we won eventually . |

I was livid seeing him making a right hand side run , I wanted to cuss him out until I saw him get the pass from Martinelli and coverted it. Looking back now, I think he wanted to get the ball at an angle where he can whine it well and that was what he did. |

When I saw Martinelli sprinting with the ball and Havertz was running heading towards his right hand side I was livid that which kind wahala be this ? cos I expected him to run to the left thereby creating space for Martinelli to either take-on his man or shoot by himself. When Martinelli passed to him and he placed the ball into the net I was really relived cos I no just trust Havertz at all. |

izzou: The issue of setting two tribes against each other can even be contained.
But religion? We have had more religious violence than tribal violence.
What is Reno's business with the Sharia issue? Is he a Muslim? Is he Yoruba?
What has Elrufai or the death of Christians have to do with this now?
I really hope when what he is looking for happens, he should be in Nigeria oh. None of it ends well; either setting tribes against each other or setting religions against each other. I saw his thread on the 1966 coup on Armed forces Remembrance Day (January 15th) and I say a lot of people cheering him on. The guy just dey fan ambers of war while he's far away from the heat. Now see what he's doing with religion and trying to pit Fulani against the Yorubas while he's an unconcerned 3rd party. If the government of the day keeps overlooking some of those inciting post of Reno, sooner or later he will cause big enough problem the government will be unable to contain. |
