They are civil servants. And not just civil servants - Northern civil servants

NNPCs problems come from its culture.

Quite literally a large number of vendors are working for them without PO. The PO will come later. That is their culture. You can work for 5 months before theit 'overworked team' 'have the time' to prepare your PO

You can finsih a job and wait for 4 months to be paid. No consequences for anyone. Same deal. Finance guys are 'too busy'. They will get around to it.

And you will keep meeting 'busy' people who are really doing nothing. A mostly zero pressure environment. The best that can happen is Oya quickly do this for the cameras so we can say work has been done.

And you will meet people who are vendors that are clearly just packaged interests. I was trying to contact a vendor for weeks. All my messages were ignored. Then one day I got the person's phone number. Check Truecaller and na pesin wey dey do Instagram seller. I thought it was a mistake but no. And this person has a highly technical job. I was finally answered and handed over to some other guy who is likely being outsourced to and who also did not inspire confidence

My partner is pushing for us to take on more capital intensive jobs and I am asking him what is the benefit? Even the PO that you think you can flash in front of potential clients - you will get it late or not at all. We have at least 6 or 7 jobs and no documentary evidence. Saving grace is they are mostly technical. Are we going to go bankrupt because we want to work with a company where your best bet for issue resolution is a conversation with an oga after Friday prayers?

I can go on and on.

So in a nutshell , there’s more than meets the eye on the newly recommissioned refineries as regards to the exact PMS output they are contributing to our local market .

Nobody knows exactly how much of their product is being sold in the Nigerian market and nobody is really asking the pertinent questions .

I won’t be surprised if NNPC still imports PMS sef . The issue is if u ask too much question , the inquiry will be given a political coloration and it will be assumed u hoped the refineries weren’t working as announced by NNPC/the government .

There’s still something I don’t understand about this news about petroleum marketers dumping Dangote fuel for imported fuel .

I thought PH refinery and Warri refinery now produce PMS and they offer competitive pricing to Dangote’s and as such , if Dangote’s fuel is getting too pricey the product from the two aforementioned NNPC refineries will be the alternatives .

So why is the article silent about NNPC’s PMS ? Or is NNPC not selling to other marketers ? Are they saying all the PMS refined at the PH and Warri refineries are all sold by NNPC and none gets sold to the petroleum marketers ?

I agree with u that this divorce may be the best thing to happen to both parties, it may just be a breath of fresh air they both need to figure what they actually want.

In my personal opinion, I think their marriage should not have happened; their marriage and years of sticking together seem like one which was done to please the public rather than please themselves. Both parties seem to want different things as far as marital life and couple goals is concerned. 2face has never hidden the fact that he's not one to keep the "sanctity of wedding vows" and will always wander off over and over again. Annie on the hand has always shown the trait of what we Yorubas used to call "Ruth abokoku" (An obsessive wife who would rather die than leave her man or share him with others). She literally built her world around him and somehow hope he would change and be that man she desires him to be.

To me, it seems the fear of not wanting to disappoint their fans and lose the status of celebrity couple in the entertainment industry was more of what was keeping their marriage going instead of their own respective desire to be together. I may be wrong, but it seems the spate of different celebrities' marriage ending in recent times( Ay Comedian, Basketmouth and one half of Psquare) may have emboldened 2face to call it quits finally.
