But I do know that for most clubs, the manager will drop multiple names of players he desires the club to sign. The club will then try to sign some of those players based on their availability, the willingness of their current club to sell them at a fair price, the desire of such player to join the team, scout reports, etc.

In instances where the club is unable to get the specific players due to one or two reasons mentioned above, the club management will try and get alternative players which the coach will have no choice but to work with.

He will surely be the highest spending manager because of time value of money and also the fact that he became our manager at a time we were free of the Emirates stadium debt we've been paying the past. Agreed the other coaches didn't get the luxury he's getting but the other coaches also didn't achieve much with us bar Arsene Wenger who remains our best coach of all time till date.

I thought a manager’s job is to manage players at his disposal at all times. A manager’s job is not to sign players .

That’s why managers are judged based on how well they manage the players the club management provide the manager to work with .

I honestly don’t think it makes much sense to be skating a manager that his best players were not signed by him. Shebi those same players that were not signed by him were used by other managers and they dragging us down without us smelling the top 4.

We all knew these things na .

There was a thread on Nairaland back then when Sahara reporters did a story on the 64 different bank accounts Obasa operated . A lot of APC supporters on Nairaland dismissed the story and called Sahara reporters all sorts of name ; they claimed Sahara reporters was sharing fake news as usual .

The thing is Obasa had a whole lot of corruption cases to answer to but the leadership of the ruling party APC have always protected him . I never said it’s a crime to have unprotected sex but we all know that in the natural order of things, if two adults that are fertile have unprotected sex, there is a high chance of the lady getting pregnant . If u don’t want to get a lady pregnant , the reasonable thing to do is to use protection . It is as simple as that .
