TemporaryHansel:No I'm not. Nothing concern me with all those delusions like red pill and bitter feminism jare. I was basically saying na jeje I dey go my way, I dey avoid trouble |
raumdeuter: TemporaryHansel:I'm a boy o. I no dey fight, I no dey separate fight and I no dey even watch people fighting. If Men Going Their Own Way was a person, na me be that person. |
Theflint1:The same people will now be asking you " Why did you sef squeeze face for oga now ?" ![]() |
TemporaryHansel:It seems you've never heard me saying this before now: " At any point in time, I always do what will save my life" . Why I go dey vex for person wey get gun ? Shey I get extra life? |
raumdeuter:Ordinary song wey Ayefele sing wey Ajimobi think say he dey disrespect him while showing loyalty to Akala, he nearly bulldoze his radio station ![]() |
Theflint1:Nigeria no be France wey citizen slap Emmanuel Macron for face and bagged paltry 4 months imprisonment o. For Nigeria dem go kill you, kill your body, kill your soul, kill your spirit and kill your heavenly race right on the spot. ![]() |
If the guy sues the federal government for false imprisonment now, they will say it is the work of the government's detractors ![]() Our so called leaders just like fooling themselves while wasting tax payers money. I'm sure they will pay the SAN that has been appearing in court for FG millions of naira for his "services" |
raumdeuter:Yes Sire! ![]() |
Segedinho:I always scroll pass those posts aswear. |
GloriousGbola:E reach everybody tru tru |
seankafor:If u have hundreds of millions in real estate property about to go down the drain, telling Wike the thug "Yes sir" will be the least of your worries at that point. Yorubas will say " Eje ka pe weyrey l'oko iyawo, kole je ka r'ona lo" (Let us call the madman the bridegroom, so he can allow us safe passage) |
CrystalTiger:Well, I won't say CNG is good or bad for now until we can wait for a while to hear the experience of people who adopted it earlier. I will also not advise anybody I know to jump follow the bandwagon for now until people who converted earlier come to the fore and share their experience. It's just funny that none of the political leaders from local level to state and federal levels have converted any of their vehicles yet. Everybody just dey advise the citizens to convert but they aren't leading by example. All the money government is paying influencers and twitter bluetick accounts to push the CNG conversion thingy, if they can just use it to convert government owned vehicles maybe it will convince people. I remember how some people feared COVID-19 vaccination, then Buhari got his vaccine, and the video was shared online. Some people got vaccinated simply because they watched that video |
Unlimited22:And yet they say prosperity is close. How do u feel when u see all those bluetick on twitter still gaslighting the people and continue to justify the current hardship in this country? |
Unlimited22:It is what it is bro ![]() |
CrystalTiger:My issue with this CNG stuff is that out of about 195 countries in the world, Nigeria is the only country advising its citizens to adopt CNG vehicles in mass. In most countries(whether technologically advanced or 3rd world country), the number of CNG vehicles on the road is not even more than 10%. Wetin other countries see wey dem no adopt CNG vehicles in large quantity like that, make e no be say we go see am from experience . That's my fear |

seankafor:So what will u do? You are yet to say what u will do in their shoes. |
seankafor:What will u do in their shoes? I mean u could see armed mobile policemen and DSS officers who outnumber them in the background. |
Theflint1:Omo! I'm sure if we check the GDP per capita in 2014 we wouldn't be this poor o |
Itsrm:It was an illusion on our part. The sad thing now is that the middle class we all were looking up to join is now gradually being eroded |
GloriousGbola:Alignment as in my motor leg no balance na ![]() |
monerozi5590:She converted me to the faith and I offered my body as a living sacrifice ![]() |
iamoyindamola:I tell her say I did not come to the far north to feed someone else's child while I go home empty handed ![]() We both know it was a case of FWB, I ain't gonna marry any MFM baddie telling me shiii about how to live my life. ![]() |
Itsrm:You see now, I didn't even know it was way cheaper sef. Back then people chose not to fly simply because they felt they were saving so much money using the road instead of flying. Some of my friends who flew down to Sokoto for camping, we felt like they were big boys not knowing the flight cost wasn't as much as we envisiaged. |
monerozi5590:I served 14/15. Yes, I didn't get any support from home while I was serving because I stayed for months at home before NYSC and by that time I was already fending for myself as omo boy on the streets. I served in the core north, I didn't travel to the South all through my service year (so I saved money off unnecessary travel expenses) and I don't eat much. I also don't feed other corpers off my allawee . I was financially displined although I dey drink black bullet steady once in a while when allawee drop. I served in a village tho and there wasn't any luxury I could spend money on. But the crux of the matter is : food was relatively cheap. Funny enough, the school I served had boarding facilities and we as teachers had privilege to request for food from dining hall , but I am not really into Hausa food so I didn't explore that route. Other corpers who did probably saved more than I do. There was one mountain of fire Yoruba babe wey we dey get alignment wey dey always come inside my room to collect my sardines while she dey send her allawee to her mama to keep for her. The day I clear her ehn, she shock say shey na because of sardines I dey halla ![]() |
Theflint1:A bag of Thai Parboiled rice cost N10k back then and a corper earned 19,800. That alone is enough to show u how it was easy to live good life. When we do corpers party, we would buy a full matured shegoat for between 4,500 to 5,000 and everywhere go stew. Nowadays 7k cannot even buy one full goat leg from the butcher |
monerozi5590:lol😂 Which other things? I only got 5k for about 5 months from my PPA which was paid long after I had finished NYSC ( because they requested for our accounts when we were leaving after promising payment). So I didn't add that since it never joined what I got during the service year to amass the 97k. It's like u people don't know how the value of naira feel off. Flight from Asaba to Abuja cost below 18k in 2015 to over 158k in 2024. That's like over 900% increment. Meanwhile corpers' salary only increased by around 350%. I guess that why it's difficult for you to believe. And food was really cheap back then. A corper can afford to buy bag of rice for 10k and still have 9,800 as savings. E shock you the damage Buhari and APC did to this country right?
|
iamoyindamola:These are just sentiments. Is there any law that says you must complete construction of your building within a particular time frame in FCT/FCC? If yes, please share the particular law that says so. |
It seems a lot of people don't know how far off the naira fell in recent years, that's why they still find a way to still look for positives where there is none under APC rule. I saw the attached post on Twitter and just shook my head at how the value of naira has continued to depreciate and people getting poorer while they are being made to believe they were living fake lives before now. For context ; I served when corpers were paid 19,800(4ck that! they only paid exact 19,800 in camp while they paid 19,600 for the remainder of the service year) just like the author of the tweet and it was more than enough to cater for my needs. Inside that 19,800 on a monthly basis I was able to buy rice ( foreign rice o, not half stone half rice they call local rice now), beans spaghetti, yam, sweet potatoes, cornflakes, milo, peak milk refill, palm oil, groundnut oil, goat meat ( Yes, I dey use 200 goat meat cook one week soup), cabin biscuit, bread, at least 6 sardines per month, fish, pepper and ocassional Amala eat out. In addition to the above I was able to save as much as 97k after paying my transport fare back to Lagos at the end of the service year. The 97k served me for the 2 months I spent in the labor market after POP before I landed my first job. It was inside that savings I bought shirt and trouser for work and still transport myself before first salary show o. It will be a miracle if anybody getting paid 77k today as a corper can do half of this during and after their service year.

afrodoc2:Thank you doc for saying the bolded the way it is. We have a culture of preparing a fertile ground for oppression to germinate among the citizenry ; that's why citizens will always justify callous decisions taken by people in government even if such decisions will not favor the citizens in any way. I mean how can a government that has consistently agreed that there is hardship in the country suddenly give people 3 month ultimatum to develop lands and the citizens start justifying their actions? Maybe because the common man feels only the elite will be affected and they deserve it. Abi? |
