GloriousGbola:Speaking softly or hardly doesn't change anything, it is the action that really matters. Did bush speaking softly or hard change the fact that his administration invaded Afghanistan or Did it affect Obama's administration invasion of Libya? You are making it seem like Trump is doing what has never been done by any American president. I understand some Americans and even some non Americans do not support this war (Just like they didn't support most of the wars America has fought) , but you are making it seem like their support or Trump's utterances would've changed the outcome of things. I don't agree with you on that. Trying to equate Buhari's high handedness against Nigerian citizens and his disastrous ruling of the country to Trump's administration that is more Pro-American than its predecessors is false equivalence. People are still protesting in America against the war and they are not getting targeted by state security operatives. Aside from Trump engaging his opps in war of words on social media and in media briefings, we don't see him deploying state security apparatus on people who hold dissenting opinion about the war he is prosecuting. Don't forget Buhari literally took away free speech by placing a ban on twitter because of his ill choice of words o. |

GloriousGbola:Trump is not turning America into anything America has never been before jare. Was Trump the president when US invaded the various countries they invaded in the past ? Google says America has invaded over 70 countries since 1776. Has Trump been America's president since 1776 ? |
EmmanuelScott1:So Okpa was telling lies when he listed acceptance of enrichment as part of Iran's 10 point peace plan ? OkpaNsukkaisBae: |
MorataFC:In Summary : "War does not determine who is right, only who is left" - Bertrand Russell Well, the bitter truth is we are only cheering on the sidelines (Both the Pro-Iran/Russia/Chinese group and the Pro-US/Israel/West group ) because we are not directly impacted by the war as far as loss of loved ones is concerned. And to be fair, whatever commentary we pass here on this thread has zero effects on the war and the principal actors in the war. It's not like support for Iran will make them stop their pursuit for Israel's extinction via sponsor of terror groups, neither will support for Israel will make them stop Mossad's continued plans to eliminate Iranian nuclear scientists. It is what it is. |
Sportsweb:Unlimited na my guy ![]() The sub was not for him in particular, it's a general sub for anybody who claimed they want the war to end so the world can go back to normal; should they decide to start picking sides now. By the way, I heard Dangote increased his gantry price again yesterday which means PMS pump price will increase once again despite him geting more crude from NNPC in the past few weeks. I keep saying it that Dangote is taking advantage of the war to rack-in profit for his business without valid justification for his actions. He just wan hold the nation by the balls at all cost. It's not really his fault sha, no be him talk say make refineries wey Nigerian government don ruin billions of dollars on their rehabilitation not to work. |
mostob:Baba mi, I fully understand the analogy you are trying to draw with that 2014 scenario you are painting. I watched the 2014 FA cup from start to final and I can boldly tell you Fabianski was a better keeper than Kepa has been. I have watched Kepa over the years, I watched him at Chelsea in a cup final and also watched him in Arsenal colors. I knew right from day one that starting him in the final will spell a disaster for us and it did. I put up a post days before the match that Arteta shouldn't make the mistake of starting him ahead of Raya for that cup final as a reward of some sorts. Unfortunately, Areta thought otherwise and his howler led to the first goal. I always mention how Kepa struggled to control his area how he's less dominant in aerial balls. There's no way Raya was going to spill that ball that led led to city's first goal. I mean I still saw evidence in the die minutes of yesterday's match when Sporting crossed a dangerous ball into our box. Raya didn't attempt to catch the ball but punched it out of his area ferociously. That cup final really pained me gan o. I admit we didn't create as many chances as we should've, but sometimes having a good defence line can spur you to a victory like we witnessed yesterday evening and games like Newcastle first leg. |
My own in all of these is ; I expect anti-war and fence sitters group that have always wanted the war to end to take the proposed ceasefire as Goodnews that should be celebrated. E go dey somehow if any supposed fence sitter begin write long epistle about the Victor and the vanquished. ![]() |
mine3112:What are the odds that Kepa will get injured in a cup final when he's not been injured in almost 40 matches in both EPL and UCL up till that moment? You think players like Kepa care about things like " shame on you"? It's the coach who gets the full blame even when a loss is due to a handful of players being unfortunate. Are you not reading the room? Are you not seeing how fans come for Arteta's head when we lose one game in ten matches as if he's not the one who oversaw the other 9 games we didn't lose? Starting Kepa in that match will haunt Arteta years after he's done with his managerial career. I won't be surprised if he writes it in a book years after his managerial career |
mine3112:There's nothing wrong starting Ur best players in a cup final! Kepa had been playing all cup games up to that moment. Most top coaches will start their best players in all positions going into that match. For a team that wants to break the jinx of not having a trophy to show for your efforts over the years, making such sacrifice won't be too much. If he had started Raya ahead of Kepa, what is the worse that could've happened? It's not like Raya is a 100 million superstar player we are trying not to hurt his ego by starting him even when we know he has a worthy competitor that bests him in all metrics. That human sentiment you are displaying here is what got to Arteta which made us lose the match eventually starting from Kepa's expected fumbling. |
mostob:I will always hold Arteta responsible for our loss to city in the Carabao cup final just by reason of starting Kepa in goal instead of Raya. That shitty decision cost us a chance to compete favorably against city in the game. |
mostob:Whites case is not rhythmic anything, gbag guy is finished. I've seen the signs already ; his positioning is off, players easily beat him to a pass and when he's progressing with the ball up field he just switches off. |
MorataFC:I read the article first before reading the comments. I was shocked at the comments just like you. I was in awe that so many people actually share the mindset of the author but only lack the right words to express their opinions like he did. It only means there are several potential Deborah killers out there, they just want the killing to be sanctioned by a Sharia court Khadi or any authority on sharia law. Smh 🤯 |
Rice is literally working his asss off for that over 100m we signed him from West Ham and the bumper salary he collects. That guy play pass box-to-box, he plays "dressing room-to- dressing room". Himself, Gabriel, Saliba Timber and Raya deserve to win a major trophy his year to crown their exceptional performances all through the season. |
White is useless sha. He has depreciated past playing at a top club like arsenal. |
Hard fought goal! 😎 |
Ellexy:The author is all these extremists who are educated and use their education to do nothing but gaslight unsuspecting people. He was busy rummaging through history trying to look for justification for why someone should be unalived for blasphemy in a secular country like Nigeria. If he were to be an Arab writing this from a country that practices theocracy like Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc, I would understand. People like him keep proving that if states down south consider adoption of Sharia law like those in the north did, it's only a matter of time before the extremism prevalent in the north rears its ugly head down south too. |
Any news on when Timber is expected to be back ? I really do hope we have a plan on transitioning a young RB from the youth team to our senior squad. I have seen enough to conclude Ben White is way beyond his prime. His defending is atrocious and not fit for team challenging for the league. Our games towards the end of this season has really revealed a lot as regards why sometimes the manager refuses to rotate players as often as we the fans hope. It's unfortunate Saka and Odegaard are having a terrible season performance wise, but players like Madueke and Havertz who should step in their shoes are not giving a good account of themselves either . I sincerely hope we get the Saudis or any maga to pay us good money and relieve us of the burden of dealing with Martinelli and his fruitless attempts to beat his man with 98% speed and 2% skills every time he plays. Whatever happens at the end of the season, we really need to do some upgrade in this team. If not, we might just fall off with some of the players on our books. |
wrong thread |
Ibukzy:If those guys no dey careful with all their beef, it will only be a matter of time before we start witnessing shootings in the Nigerian music industry. The fact that most of them belong to different confra groups with foot soldiers everywhere will make the whole thing messy. |
Amoto94:I've never seen this kind of forced false equivalence in my life 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ In a bid to justify death penalty for blasphemy this guy is literally equating Jesus' driving of traders in the temple to taking another human life in the name of religion. He claimed Jesus using force means it is okay to use force to "protect sacred honor". Omo 😲 He even proceed to equate blasphemy ruling as it operates Islam to laws in various countries like anti-semitissm laws, laws against espionage etc. But somehow he failed to show how any of those laws allows for the convicted to be killed. He even invented his own word salads just to drive home false equivalence all over the place. He even attacked moderate Muslims who are moving away from the extreme form of Islam he believes in that supports people getting executed for blasphemy. I read every thing he wrote in the article and all I saw was a man saying Deborah should've been made to face a Sharia court which would've sentenced her to death anyways. And to think people are actually hailing him in the comment section saying " This is a well written piece "....." I've never read a well detailed explanation explabtuin like this before ". Can't believe I would be reading someone making this kind of justification for taking another person's life in big 2026.

Ibime:He is a miracle baby.....Na after him mama enter menopause she born am ![]() The Nigerian footballers dey cut age ehn....dem no dey even think about future at all |
Ibime:Wike that literally had the house of his opps in Rivers state attacked with Dynamites in 2023 election cycle is speaking in hyperbole? So Ṣeun should wait till the next time he's in PH when he's attacked while traveling from the airport to his destination on the orders of Wike?

Realmrsean:U no go rest with this Una alternative to reality delulu? 😂. Na so Una use over a week to speculate Netanyahu's alleged death and were busy analysing videos looking forso called deep fake. The pilot has already been rescued, just let it go! |
Sportsweb:I already saw a Democrat post on Twitter claiming the US deporting the IRGC nepo babies is unfair. The guy said it's against the rights of women to deport the ladies to a country that don't respect rights of woman considering the fact that the ladies didn't do anything wrong in America other than being related to the IRGC men. 😲 Before now I've never been a fan of American politics nor know how the democrats and Republicans view the same thing through different lens..... But since this war, I've really learnt how crazy American politics can really get. It just leaves one's jaws dropping seeing how they twist a simple matter to suit different narratives. |
How do people support this man? How do they do it? 🤷♂️ https://x.com/ozorndiozor/status/2040364555398787567?s=46 |
Emaprince:There's a reason why most of us decided not to engage NRGC anymore in their delusion. The signs are out there to show how grossly incompetent the regime has been. The fact that they force everything to celebrate here just show all u need to know |
Emaprince:U dey mind dem?.. DARLINGTON was asking how he can change his family name to Iran few days ago..... Let him just apply for Iran visa and go enjoy the regimes good life for few months and tell us how far. Maybe he can convince some fence sitters to port there as well ![]() |
Sportsweb:Those guys are hypocrites!.....imagine calling the US "great Satan" and they keep changing death to the great Satan while their own kids are living extravagant lifestyle inside the great Satan. Their kids are living the lifestyle in the free world while the radical parents dey censor internet in Iran. Shame! 🤮 |
So Biden administration just dey hand Green card to these people just like that? Now I understand why some Trump supporters really detest Biden and his administration. cc: Raumdeuter

As much as one may want to give Trump the stock for how ICE has been prosecuting their war against illegal immigrants , this recent revelations about families of IRGC officials living lavishly in America until ICE caught up with them tells a clear story of how America’s immigration laws have been too lax to a fault . Imagine someone who enjoys the goodies of the west still celebrating the death of soldiers of his host nation in the hand of those of the country she fled 🤷♂️
