I think it's the fear of federal might that made Adeleke to be cowering for Tinubu. He most likely feared APC would succeed at voters' intimidation and rewriting results. I guess the people of the state are just his saving grace.

Aswear! They resisted intimidation, threats of violence and didn't let month being offered to influence their choice.

Most of them detest APC because of how Aregbe's government was paying half salary, how Oyetola didn't deem it feat to pay the arrears, until Adeleke came in and started clearing the backlog.

I like it when a group of people make bold statement with their votes instead of rewarding failure.
