GloriousGbola:The average voter is actually not the problem . The average voter wants life to be better for himself or herself under whoever gets elected in the long run. The greatest argument against democracy in Nigeria is corruption by the elected officials . Mojisolaoluwa Alli-Macaulay was a lawmaker in Lagos who got palliatives from government/private sector partnership during COVID-19 to be shared for her constituents . Instead She kept the palliatives and decided to share to those who attended her birthday later that year. Is that the problem of the electorates too? Guess what ? After she lost her re-election bid, Tinubu recently appointed her as ED of a Federal government parastatal . Smh . 🤦♂️ Later if we hear of any corruption scandal in NSITF during her time there , we will start forming surprised

raumdeuter:Was he doing that as a private citizen or when he's already a senator? If not that Nigeria is an upside-down society, is this the job of a senator? Monday was a senator before he contested for the governorship seat. Ideally what would've impacted more on his constituency is for him to sponsor bills that will translate to the betterment of the life of his people. All those Senators collecting hundreds of millions as salaries & allowances, collecting billions as constituency allowances and sharing paltry sums to their loyalists in the name of constituency project will never take us anywhere. How many people can he even pay their hospital bills if he wants to? What matters to the bulk of the electorate is what will touch their lives in general and not just a handful of people getting keke NAPEP, hairdryer, grinding machine, etc. in the name of constituency projects. They just use that nonsense to siphon money. The House of Assembly members should be the ones bursting padded budgets which the executive arm of government submitted to them. That is also what they can do to touch the lives of the common man in order to ensure they have hope in this so-called democracy. Instead, they would rather add more paddings to the already padded budget. |
Lush100:Even Gundogan made similar comments. “It was a very emotional game between the players, the fans,” said Gundogan. “Obviously, it’s a tough opponent and a tough game to play. They made it tough for us and tried everything to get something out of here. We have to give them credit for the way they defended. It's rival fans that will not rest but continue to shed salty tears. Anyways, it is understandable why they would cry more than the bereaved sha. |
Una go wail tire ![]() Nobody has Arsenal time yen yen yen.....But 3 days after Pep who played draw against Arsenal has moved on, haters still dey wet the grass with their tears. ![]() Make una keep up the salty tears. |
iamoyindamola:Okay no wahala |
iamoyindamola:Abeg help me resend the download link. The one u sent yesterday, the files are scattered with different download links. I was distracted and later couldn't download it. |
Amigoss:The funny thing is this institute will most likely not be aware of any of such project in its budget. It is definitely at the ministry level the padding would've been carried out. I still pass by the Institute this morning on Ahmadu Bello Way, V.I. Nothing concern that school wey I see with road construction; what they do basically is train marine engineers, marine technicians and marine scientists. |
daveP:There's a very very thin line between diving and exploiting a player's carelessness to win PK. I played amateur football, and I've watched professional football long enough to know that players do actually lose goalscoring opportunities while trying to win a penalty in the box. You can have a ref waiving the ball play-on for not enough contact in a PK appeal, You can have a very brilliant defender who withdraws his outstretched leg at the last second, or worse still u can have ur player booked for diving. Let our players focus on playing football and putting the ball at the back of the net instead of unnecessary distraction of trying to win an unsure penalty. We've seen in recent times how glaring fouls are not decided in our favor in the middle of the park; what makes u think those referees will award fouls to us in the opponent's box? |
daveP:You literally said " Jover over to you " in ur post I quoted and now u are saying u didn't ask them to train for it. So why did u call Jover name ? ![]() The Jover u called is our Set piece coach whose job is to "train" the players on set piece; It gives an impression that u want our players to train on how to win penalties in matches. That will amount to putting unnecessary pressure on the team and disrupting their flow of play because they will always have their mind on winning a PK when they are in the box even when they should be aiming at scoring open play goals. Let our players just focus on being better players by taking their chances when they come. Simple. Penalty is part of the game and will come naturally when our players are fouled, or opponents handle the ball in the box 18. There's no need to start focusing on how to win penalty; to me that's cowardice. It's more like u are already conceding u may not win the game trying to score open play goals. Going that way will undo some of the good work the team has put in because there's a risk of getting penalized for diving right there. |
izzou:The last time I bought about a month or two ago it was still 84k o. God supposed punish Buhari and his supporters specially for deceiving the ignorant people claiming Rice price will fall after launching their scam rice pyramid ![]() |
liveLongNprospa:I think the only reason why they are hounding Theflint is because he kept on preaching the gospel of "vote LP top-to-bottom" even when it was pointed out that aside from riding on the wave of OBIdients movement, GRV was not all that. Just like Olumide had his baggage of issues, GRV had his too and Theflint still insisted on supporting him because he's running on LP. If Theflint had said he's supporting Asue because izzou supported Sanwoolu, I don't think people would've made much fuss about the motive behind his support for Asue. |
Amigoss:Dangote is mad and NNPC + Ministry of petroleum + Tinubu (The minister for petroleum) are crazy! 1. Dangote is saying his own PMS is 15% cheaper than NNPC's imported PMS . Oya Very Angry Alhaji tell us how much you sold your PMS to NNPC....... No response. 2. Dangote claims NNPC spends serious money on subsidizing imported PMS and wants FG/NNPC to remove subsidy so we can all buy fuel at a price that will kill the economy that is heavily reliant on PMS so he can recoup his investment in the refinery within the nearest possible payback period. 3. Tinubu still thinks he's carrying out reforms that will make the economy bounce back. Lmao . Somebody that says subsidy is gone when it's not is the same person that wants people to believe he's actually carrying out any reforms when people are already suffering hardship from his ill-advised policies. All of them are mad! |
izzou:Na normal twitter engagement-inducing gist. She dey farm Elon Musk's dollars |
GloriousGbola:The guy Dey enter Asue anyhow . I always see his videos on TikTok and twitter . He genuinely believes PDAPC has failed and a third force should be given a trial; he has conviction and puts in serious work for what he believes in. |
GloriousGbola:Aisha Yesufu actually campaigned for Olumide till the very end . She didn’t fold at all. |
Jodera:At some point city was literally clueless ; they spent minutes passing from side to side in front of our box without actually doing any damage . If I was them too, I would be frustrated . |
GloriousGbola:But Aisha never folded , she didn’t ditch Olumide for Asue. In fact Aisha has been roasting those influencers that ditched Olumide for Asue . |
afrodoc2:The guy has been very vocal about Obaseki’s underperformance from day one and I’m glad he didn’t fold to start doing shalaye afterwards . Just listen to his first hand account assessment of Obaseki’s administration
|
Jodera:This what the Man city players desired , unfortunately we dashed their hope and that of the rival fans that have been wailing about the outcome of the match.

izzou:“OBIdients for Asue” is like saying “Christians for Sango” -Idris Zekiri Jnr (2024)
|
Theflint1 are u from Edo Central senatorial district ? |
Roland17:I just hope people can make enough noise about Jim’s and his bias officiating so he won’t spoil more top matches going forward . At least when knows there are so many eyes on him, perhaps he will be more reasonable in his decisions in future games. He supposed get conscience |
Ballzproblem2:In a way he has ascended; just that he ascended to heaven ![]() |
Ballzproblem2:Tough! They did not even allow him enjoy the benefits of his new position before dem kpoof am ![]() |
Jodera:Yeah, he finally gets his deserved rest he's been calling for. |
KingTom:May God help them. |
Jodera:Aswear! I always see ref's mistakes as just innocent mistakes or getting carried away in the heat of the matter, but Oliver obviously agenda going by his history in this particular fixture. |
Michael Oliver has blood on his hands . I no even know he’s done this harm to us overtime. https://x.com/nischal_15/status/1838084122599891123?s=46 |
Theflint1:Asari Dokubo u mean. Yeah it's surprising that despite the kind of wealth he has amassed to the extent of owning a university in Benin republic, he still goes around with rough looking guys brandishing rocket launchers. |
Theflint1:The kind of money these thugs in Lagos have access to They motor parks, network provider Masts, illegal car parks, market levies, building projects, etc. If u go to Balogun or Idumota at 2am when Igbo traders are having their container being unloaded from trailer, u will meet Agberos there to collect money. Like, those guys run 24hrs shift . If you go to Alaba , before a truck laden with container will gain acccess into the market they would've paid toll at different points on their way into the market. There's no how u will see the kind of money they make on the streets in Lagos and u won't want to clean up urself and ur family. That's why those actresses and other beautiful ladies always end up as either their wives or mistresses. The money long. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:It's not just the USA, majority of the world powers. |
