Emaprince:Omo! Till date, I still wonder how people feel comfortable voting for someone with that much dubious character. Then they expect him to make his governance about them. |
Itsrm:Please share link to the judgement. |

The Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that it did not apologize to the former Governor of Cross Rivers State, Mr. Donald Duke, for erroneous usage of his picture in a documentary on the presidential candidate of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.https://dailypost.ng/2022/11/28/we-didnt-apologize-to-duke-for-erroneous-usage-of-his-picture-apc-pcc/?utm_term=Autofeed&utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook#Echobox=1669670358 Nigerians no really think things through when dem dey thumbprint for this guyman. seankafor:Two truths can co-exist. Dangote is a shrewd businessman who has done well for himself in building a business empire. Dangote is also like the single businessman in Nigeria's history that has enjoyed the most backing of government u can ever think of. Dangote like most businessmen prefers monopoly in all the sectors he operates, and he doesn't hide it. When people say he has government backing and monopoly, they not telling lies against him. Below is excerpt from a premium Times editorial which pointed at Dangote's move to monopolize importation of petrol even when he has refinery license. He has already been licensed to operate refinery o, but still wants a kinda monopoly in which only people who own refinery can import petrol ; abi how many companies get refinery license for naija again? On February 28, the Chief Strategy Officer of Dangote Group, Aliyu Suleiman said that the importation rights for petrol should be awarded only to licensed and active refineries in Nigeria. This demand was in his speech to members of the National Assembly’s Joint committee on the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) who paid a visit to the site of the Dangote Refinery, which is under construction, and slated to be soon finished.https://www.premiumtimesng.com/opinion/450128-of-dangote-and-near-absolute-monopolies-by-cheta-nwanze.html |
daveP:There is no regular in the released list. Only Elneny and Cedric (who are perennial bench warmers) are senior players included in the released list of 19 players. |
liveLongNprospa:Tinubu is the best president since 1999 because he “removed subsidy “ we are still paying till date and floated Naira that has made several multinationals experience foreign exchange loss. And that’s on periodt! 🙅♂️

Another $2.5 billion loan facility from World Bank. Issokay

Jodera: Spy360:There’s nothing , absolutely nothing that warrants the club to to have sleepless night over keeping an amateur player that won’t turn 17 until later this year. If the boy feels he wants to leave and not ready to take his chances on the bench while on an average salary like players in his age grade, then by all means he should leave . I don’t buy into all these sentimental attachment to any academy graduate . |
So DSTV has recorded $217million loss in naija and also experienced 18% decline in active DSTV subscribers .🤔 No wonder dem don nearly use call wounjure person . Dem never see anything

[quote author=raumdeuter post=130464366]BlueRayDick come and answer your guy oh fi owo pe weyrey, e ma ri weyrey 😎 |
Ellexy:U can’t pray away directionless government na. I see some of them on WhatsApp complaining of hardship, inflation and how expensive things are ; but somehow they still maintain Steeze and refuse to link the hardship to the policies of the government . |
Ellexy:I saw a guy’s post on twitter he said : E reach Muslim-muslim turn, Muslim no see money buy sallah ram Any Muslim wey kill ram this year , still buy pepper cook am na senior man o. |
raumdeuter:The bold is so far away from the reality . What do u think causes some of the fights in Places like Plataeu state ? Some of the lands Fulanis occupy today were originally belonging to the indigenous people of those areas ; some of the lands were sold to them while they were allowed to settle on others out of the goodwill of the people . Stop making it seem as if people hated Fulanis from inception. It is the trouble they forment afterwards that made people start getting wary of allowing them to lease or own lands in their communities . There are many communities across this country including the South west, South east and South south that have enough Fulani settlers. That is why we are talking of social justice . If u had allowed Fulani settle on ur land in the past and they later go on killing spree when a minor dispute arises , only for government and security forces to side with them ; it is only natural that u do everything possible to do without Fulani occupation in the future . |
Ellexy:At this point ; is it not high time Tinubu swallow his pride and reverse the whole Naira floating thingy? The combined effect of subsidy removal and floating the Naira is gradually pushing investors out of the market and new investors are even reluctant to jump in. We should stop deceiving ourselves |
raumdeuter:Long before climate change there has always been issues between the Fulanis and the other major tribes in the Middle belt. Thank God u mentioned Lekwot earlier today . The Zangon-Kataf crisis in Kaduna state in 1992, after the whole kangaroo trial and sentencing of the Indigenous Kataf people while the Hausa-Fulanis were made sacred cows ; did it show there was any semblance of social justice ? In what world is it fair that the Kataf people who actually defended their people were prosecuted while Hausa-Fulani people the aggressors that instigated the initial mob action were sacred cows? Is that also a climate change issue ? See once there’s no social justice in a system , more people will embrace crime. Do u know how many number of clashes between southern and northern Kaduna that has happened since the Zangon-Kataf crisis ? As regards the Fulani and Lands; it has been said over and over again- The world has evolved ! There is no place for open grazing in this modern world . Cattle rearing is a private business not a public enterprise . Let them purchase lands for ranches and stop holding the entire nation to ransom over their private business . |
raumdeuter:All of these things are a result of government failing to find solution to some age-long problems. There’s insincerity on the part of some government agencies and security forces and it led to things going to south . For example in the middle belt there had always been incidents of Fulani vs Some of the other major tribes like Tiv, Idoma, Junkun, Birom, Taroh, etc. There are instances where several government established reconciliatory committees are inaugurated are out in place and recommendations made at the tail end . Most times these other tribes always feel they got the short end of the stick when the committee reports are released and even during subsequent crises they see state actors taking sides with the Fulani who seem to have people in the security services . When the people feel their absence of true social justice , they also resort to taking laws into their hands . That is what led to different ethnic groups forming their own militias leading to more proliferation of arms in that region. In the core north , years of neglect of the largely uneducated and unemployable youth has resulted in some of them resorting to either terrorism or banditry . These incidents u lumped up together are not one and same and handing each citizen guns won’t solve them . These guys have already attacked military bases, they’ve attacked the Nigerian Army depot, they’ve attacked an airport, train station , etc. Do u think they won’t attack private citizens with guns? If we refuse to try and address some of the root cause of the problem but hand civilian guns, we will only be making more criminals and putting more lives in danger |
Theflint1:The bold is a very moot point which is invalidated by the spate of bank robberies in Nigeria in recent times . Since around 2014 to this year, we’ve seen a pattern of robbery incidents whereby armed robbers (despite knowing how banks are well guarded) carry out large scale bank robberies . They literally lit up the nearest police police stations which are well guarded with armed officers, then proceed to sack various banks with heavy shelling. At least this has happened in Kogi state multiple times , Ekiti state multiple times, Benue state , Offa Kwara state, etc to mention a few . The robbers are aware of the level of resistance that the security agents in the banks and even the first responders can pose and they plan well ahead for it. That should tell u that u having a gun to fight back won’t stop the criminal , but it will only make him more vicious in his attacks . One of my bosses used to say “ U can’t predict the mind of a criminal “. U can’t sit down as a law abiding citizen and start saying maybe if u do this( like carrying a gun on u) , the criminal will not attack u. |
raumdeuter:They didn’t need everybody alive . They shoot at as many vehicles as possible ; some people will get injured in the shootings while others will die . It is the few that survive that they collect ransom from. They don’t mind to kill some of the hostages , u read where the guy mentioned how they are willing to kill anybody that slows them down or gives them problem . Carrying gun will never solve the problem 👎 |
GloriousGbola:How do u want police officers to put their lives on the line when there’s no guarantee their loved ones will get life insurance payout if they die in action? Nigeria police are not motivated to the extent of facing armed gangs with automatic weapons . Hope u remember this guy below who Jejely hid himself while the last robbery in Kogi was taking place ? ![]()
|
izzou:Exactly . Back then the first casualties during such robberies are usually the armed escorts . |
raumdeuter:The kidnappers know they can die the moment they chose the criminal way of life ; same can’t be said for other law abiding citizens who are their victims . U have not answered my question . How does carrying a gun save u from kidnappers who lay in ambush waiting for and then proceeded to shoot at ur vehicle ? The guy narrated his own experience which was similar to what the other lady on agidigbo fm narrated in the YouTube video. How u wan shoot back at people u didn’t even know were laying in ambush waiting for u ? |
