Leyqute: The Argentina team looks more solid in midfield. If they decide to do counter, that Brazilian team go hear am. The Brazil team can hurt them through the wings and their very potent attack . Cafu being defensively solid and Marcelo swinging in crosses will expose the yansh of someone like Otamendi at the back. |

izzou: Who will you even charge, when your penalty is 100k?
If i can spend 20 million on a burial, is it 100k that i cannot pay?
Looking at it sef, the law take style dey funny. Now u see what I'm saying that the law makes no sense. A law that is specific to church burials in a state that has Christians and traditional worshippers. The law that is supposed to take into cognizance the customs and traditions of the people yet placing restriction on some aspects of the traditions. It even fines the poor people it was supposed to protect. Dem no reason the law well at all. It looks like a trap the government of the day will be using to deal with anybody they are not in good terms with. |

izzou: The law made some sense.
Don't inconvenience people in the name of burials. I am very sure the overnight wake keep is functional. I attended one last year, and it ended by 9pm.
But i wanted Okpa to see the justice he was looking for; A paltry 100k
So if you are asking why Obi Cubana flouted the law, the penalty is enough reason for even ordinary me to flout sef Even the writer stated that it appears nobody has been charged by the government yet simply because the law infringes on fundamental human rights entrenched in the constitution. So if the government decides to enforce it sef, they will most likely lose out when it gets to supreme court. |

obainojazz: You keep shouting Obi Cubana because you obviously have a problem with people doing well…. There are thousands of burial every year since that law was passed and no one follows the rule. People are still doing as they seem fit because Nigeria is a lawless country…. The law doesn’t even limit how much you should spend…. Buy a casket of one million dollars if you like sef. It just stops the bullshit of live music playing for days and disturbing the whole community, elders demanding some money, blocking main roads because of burial and so on. I just read this paper on the Anambra Burial law. If anything the writer posited in the paper is true, then The law no really make sense. It's understandable that people will flout the law and pay the yeye fine as penalty https://www.researchgate.net/publication/353258926_Anambra_State_Burial_Law_A_stringent_and_Unenforceable_Law |

DissTroy: As I have always reiterated on this thread and other platforms, any social media or traditional media activist who doesn't have a defined source of living outside of the supposed activism is a crook waiting to manifest.
Reno Omokri, Aisha Yesufu, SavvyRinu, e.t.c.
Aisha is feeding off the Peter Obi association now. Once it ends, she'd port to another platform. She's milked her EndSARS moment enough but it's no longer paying.
Reno milked his with the Buhari opposition but the effect has waned with the gamble he took during the electioneering season. He can no longer get donations from opposition politicians. The people I pity are those who take them serious. This Reno, Deji Adeyanju, Keyamo, The Odumakins, etc. They are all in it for their pockets |

Saw the AK-47 and bareta recovered from kidnappers last week and I just shook my head.. That's why I am of the opinion that maybe if the welfare of our security agencies are improved upon, they will not find crime so attractive for them to aid and abet. |

iamoyindamola: It's a case of everyday for thief one day for the owner There are many fake government personnels roaming the roads Them plenty for lastma even the real ones can't differentiate or recognise them No be to sew uniform or rent sef This thing is scary but real. Late last year some policemen who operate on police bikes dressed as Lagos state task force were arrested within Ajao Estate. What they usually do is patrol the area with bike looking for keke and private car owners who pass one-way within the area due to their impatience when there's traffic. Those guys would arrest their victims and threaten to have their vehicles impounded for disobeying traffic laws of Lagos state. Las Las the victims would pay them after minutes of pleading and negotiating a bribe. They've been doing it for as long as anybody can remember and nobody ever thought they were fake policemen. Luck ran out on them late last year when men of Ajao police station were on patrol and hailed them as per espirit de corps. Those ones joined them in accosting the victims, insisted on taking the victims to their police station then the fake officers grew cold feet. Somehow the real policemen found out they were fake and arrested them. Now those ones are confused how fake policemen had access to 2 AK-47 rifles and police dispatch bikes. |

iamoyindamola: We still need more of this We are not serious in this country. I remember UAE gave us list of those financing terrorism that year, what have the authorities done about it to this date? See shameless police and military claiming they rescued the kidnapped family only for their uncle to debunk it that they only escorted them home from where they went to pick them after paying ransom. |

afrodoc2: It is very easy to talk when it is on paper or when it does not involve you personally. It is one thing to have a view that bombing both terrorists and victims is the way to go, but it is another thing to state that those who do not agree with that method are too emotional.
The solution is to go after them in such an aggressive way that they do not enjoy the proceeds of their crimes or know any peace. Go after their families. Go after their property. Go after their businesses and investments. Make being a kidnapper unconducive for a peaceful like. That is what the authorities should be doing first before just lazily bombing both perpetrator and victim. That time northern governors under during Buhari’s administration were granting amnesty to bandits and terrorists claiming there were “repentant “ , I knew this period will come . Those governors were premising their amnesty for those non-state actors on the fact that if FG can grant amnesty to Niger Delta militants , then they should have no problem arranging for terrorists and bandits in the north . What they don’t know is nobody taste blood and money made easily from shedding blood and still want to go back to living a crime-free life . Like u rightly pointed out, the right attitude is to go after these kidnappers and their families . Our military have drones , they should deploy them in the forests to track these terrorists and then plan rescue operations from intelligence gathered . These kidnappers make calls , they should track them . Except they are telling us our military is ill-equipped to combat arrange rescue mission within our own territory . |
