afrodoc2:That time northern governors under during Buhari’s administration were granting amnesty to bandits and terrorists claiming there were “repentant “ , I knew this period will come . Those governors were premising their amnesty for those non-state actors on the fact that if FG can grant amnesty to Niger Delta militants , then they should have no problem arranging for terrorists and bandits in the north . What they don’t know is nobody taste blood and money made easily from shedding blood and still want to go back to living a crime-free life . Like u rightly pointed out, the right attitude is to go after these kidnappers and their families . Our military have drones , they should deploy them in the forests to track these terrorists and then plan rescue operations from intelligence gathered . These kidnappers make calls , they should track them . Except they are telling us our military is ill-equipped to combat arrange rescue mission within our own territory . |
izzou:Those market sometimes open on Sunday ; and yes NEPA Light too causes some some of the fire outbreak . I worked in that marina axis for close to 8 years and most of the fire outbreak that happened which I heard of were due to generators catching fire . Most insurance companies will not agree to insure their risks considering the level of physical hazard involved. The buildings are too close to each other meaning fire can easily spread from an Uninsured building to several insured buildings thereby leading to insurance paying millions of claims on a risk they have little or no control over . The best solution is to relocate those markets , but I don’t think any government will attempt that in the nearest foreseeable future. Those places are close clustered residential premises people turned to markets over time. |
iamoyindamola:The fact that the army never spoke about neutralizing the bandits or showing any evidence that they engaged the bandits in combat ; it’s an indication that definitely ransom was paid . No be today Nigerian security agencies will claim they rescued victims only for victims’ family to confirm they actually paid ransom to have them released |
Emaprince:I think Tinubu is an acquaintance of Wole Soyinka and like a typical Nigerian he must be seen to support Tinubu’s course even if he doesn’t believe in some of his ideals . (they were together in the June 12 struggle )It’s just that simple . It just proves that he’s human and not too idealistic to not stand by his comrade no matter what |
izzou:Most times those fire are not caused by normal NEPA electricity but by generators . The thing is that those occupying upstairs as shops don’t install their generators downstairs , but same upstairs where their shops are located . U will mostly see their generators having by the balcony/railings from the second floor to the topmost floor. When the generators burst into fire due to one reason or the other , the close proximity of the buildings in that area prevents fire fighter from easily gaining access to the place to put out the fire . |
Unlimited22:KDB all day please . Kaka was quite good in his days but I don’t think he could gtbrive as much as KDB does in present day football . |
Nothing to see here ; just two questionable characters questioning themselves as it relates to their respective principals 🚶♂️

izzou:Imagine person wey invade a radio station with gun in hand as a 31 year old forcing the radio staff to play his pre-recorded message instead of a duly elected premier’s victory speech . ![]() The man ehn. Is he not worse than the youths he’s criticizing now ? Has any of these youths carried gun yet to threaten Tinubu ? https://pmnewsnigeria.com/2019/07/15/soyinka-at-85-flashback-on-how-he-invaded-ibadan-radio-station/?amp=1 |
izzou:Because I didn’t quote his full statement ? Of course He was talking about the elections . See the attached screenshot . He says they can’t accept the possibility of losing an election . Guess what ? Thank God for historical books , Wole Soyinka actually hijacked a live programme on a radio station to protest the election that won SL Akintola the premier of western Region

raumdeuter:You are right it’s not just in Nigeria but worldwide , but Wole Soyinka is making it about Nigeria alone. He said “ …. Barbarians have taken over social media and they have swapped the intellectual quotient which used to make and still make social valid in other countries ….. Here in this country social media has been dragged down to the lowest common denominator “ In a way it appears as though Wole Soyinka is still bitter about the verbal abuses some youth hauled at him based on his political position/choice in the run up to the last election . Personally I do not support any of those youths’ attack on his person , but Wole Soyinka himself is known for going vituperative on anybody he doesn’t agree with/support their political leanings . We all know all the insults he hauled at the Jonathan’s family due to their political differences. The thing is most of the people that helped trended all the insults he hauled at the Jonathan’s back then have since stopped supporting APC due to the hardship APC has brought to this country for the last 10 years and some of them are among those insulting him on social media now. |

Lineup

KingTom:All those ones are sponsored groups na . |
Ibime: ![]() I think Ahmed Musa is actually half part southerner and half northerner . His mum is from Edo state (most likely practiced the Christian faith ) while his dad is a northerner . I think he’s more of a southerner in mind but he chose to align with the north (where he was raised ) to enjoy federal character privileges |
iamoyindamola:It’s not even that I’m pro Sadiq Umar sef . I just find it difficult to believe that whover wanted him out had to wait till he has an injury scare before playing his card . Whoever is powerful enough to sanction his sending home could’ve prevented him from being invited in the first place . At least we have some good players we didn’t get invited only for senior men like Ahmed Musa to make the team on self recognition basis |
Ibime:Another angu ! ![]() |
