Na ontop arsenal head VAR no dey show well . Smh |
See stupid goal we concede … Smh ![]() |
Zinchencko no just sabi defend |
Jodera:Dem wan whitewash image wey no exist ![]() Raul Jimenez sef wey play for lowly Wolverhampton managed to score 17 goals in two different seasons before his injury . |
Lmao ![]() Striker wey no get shot on target at a World Cup his national team won. Una like mediocre players sha . Striker wey spend 6 seasons at a top club like Arsenal and never managed to score past 16 league goals in a season and u want to argue he’s not an average striker ?

raumdeuter:A friend of mine in primary school was raised by a relative because he lost both parents to the Zango-Kataf crisis when he was a toddler. Na why I dey vex sometimes when I see people like Elrufai in 2023 still doing everything to widen the gulf between the southern & northern Kaduna people with some of his unguarded statements. |
raumdeuter:That's why at times our diversity as a people seems to be more of a curse than blessing. Some issues might be minor like a farmer who is Berom fights his Fulani neighbor whose sheep eats his seedlings and before u know it ; it will take serious ethnic coloration to become a major communal clash. Any small matter escalates due to lack of trust on both sides of the divide. |
raumdeuter:Some of those governors just mourn on camera, call out FG but continue to chop security vote without actually doing anything to better their lot. This is why I think debates should be made compulsory for those seeking election into public offices like governorship and presidency. At least if there's a debate they can ask governorship candidates of troubled states like Plateau, Benue & kaduna what plans they have concerning handling the perennial ethnic/inter tribal clashes in their states. |
Jodera:This is the only thing that matters in this argument. Watch how he will turn amala beside the point |
raumdeuter:Na only their governors know wetin dem dey do o |
GloriousGbola:That Mohbad father ehn.... The less said about him, the better. I read Mohbad's mum interview and the woman claimed the same thing the man is doing to Mohbad's widow & the grandchild, he did same to her when she was still with him. She said he once called Mohbad B*st*rd so she's not surprised he's doing same all over again. |
Ibime:I don't even know what people like that man stand to gain talking shiiit about someone else's spouse. If Akeredolu's wife wasn't a good woman does he think the man would've risen to the pinnacle of his career as a SAN in the first place or even become a governor sef? There are so many people that had great potentials but their choice of spouse cut their growth short. |
Itsrm:The problem in this is that a governor who is let's say member of PDP will accuse a president who is APC member of using Federal Police to overrun his state police. Just look at the situation we had with Buhari v Ortom of Benue state that year. Normally one would say the Judiciary should be in the best place to determine who has jurisdiction between Federal & state police on certain matters, but we all know what our Judiciary has become with different injunctions being obtained from different courts of coordinate jurisdiction. |
E be like say Ondo state people really see shege under Akeredolu's government o. The things I dey read about pension & salaries being owed....hmmm. But I wonder why the people of the state have been quite about it for a long time. Why the press no carry the news about situation of things in the state before now ? Did he gag the press ni ? Ondo is an Oil producing state na
|
larride:Yeah it's going to be a hard conversation. 1.State policing can help curb activities of non-state actors in parts of the sates that are not adequately policed. 2. State policing can be abused by state governors to witch-hunt their perceived enemies/members of the opposition. There must be a middle ground somewhere somehow |
larride:As in.... Sometimes u can't but wonder what some of these governors have in mind before buying gubernatorial nomination form to run for governor. I mean as a private citizen who has lived among his people and knows the problem that plagues them, it is expected that u already have plans to combat insecurity which is the biggest challenge of Plateau state considering many years of inter-ethnic crisis and tribal related killings in the state. Anybody that is not having a workable plan to combat this should even be allowed to win his party's governorship ticket. He should have all these plans about putting his security vote/security trust fund to work even before he won the election. Now he's waiting for FG that almost all the 36 states are waiting for to help sort their respective security challenges. He can argue that funding a unit of the police may not be enough to combat insecurity/terrorism of that scale, but there's still the need for him to fund a paramilitary unit like Amotekun that can act in intelligence gathering capacity for the police/military. |
Amoto94:U are partly right and he's also partly right. He's partly right because only the police, DSS, NSCDC and other FG controlled security agencies that can actually investigate and effect arrest of suspected terrorists carrying out these killings. You are partly right by saying he's not serious. A serious governor will do everything to protect his people even if he's incapacitated by the inaction of FG controlled security agencies. Just like Raumdeuter suggested yesterday, nothing stops Plateau & Benue state governors from floating their own state security/paramilitary agencies like Amotekun in Southwestern states. At least they get security votes which nobody knows what they use it for. Instead of discussing with this Tinubu administration and waiting for help that may take so long to come, they can put things in place and fund their own paramilitary agency for the protection of their people. |

Well, the current governor blames Buhari administration for allowing Plataeu to be a fertile ground for terrorists to grow. https://guardian.ng/news/plateau-attack-mutfwang-says-terrorists-occupied-schools-for-years/ The governor lamented that a lack of arrests and prosecution of armed groups makes some citizens feel their attackers are being protected. |
Iamoyindamola This is what I was saying about that Plataeu state attacks that day. There is always attacks and reprisal attacks between the indigenes and Fulani settlers. This reprisal attack now is targeted at the Fulani's in retaliation for the Christmas attack. https://www.nairaland.com/7951151/reprisal-attacks-plateau-very-graphic Their leaders really need to find a workable solution to their problems, if not things will continue this way and it can only get worse |
iamoyindamola:As much as I like him as a player, I think we need to let Partey go . It's frustrating seeing him play a couple of games, get injured and recover in time to go for AFCON or international break. Make we just look for another person & buy |
Theflint1:U get! Person wey appoint his own son as DG of a state government agency; shey na that one go come dey emote instead of asking his family to secure the bag while they can? |
Theflint1:Na man political detractors dey always come up with issues about the woman's tribe and her age. I don't even know why people always do that shiiit. Kayode Fayemi's wife is older than him, Akeredolu's wife is older than him. Both of them don't have issues with that fact, but na outsiders dey always complain and make issues out of it. |
DissTroy:But none of Okpa and Izzou made mention of Mbaise, Awara or any other word that may indicate any subethnic undertone in that their discussion that day na. The only thing they were arguing about was whether Enugu was as developed as Okpa was claiming. As much as Okpa used to go off tangent, he didn't in any way make the argument about his subethnic group being superior to Izzou's As an independent third party, the only thing I can deduce was that argument that day was that Okpa is willing to keep aside his support for Obi at the Federal level to defend his home state Enugu. |
iamoyindamola:It was when he first contested I knew the wife isn't Yoruba and that she is older than him by at least 3 years. I despise people like the guy in that video because they come with all sorts of bulllshitt when a person dies; bullshittts they can't say while the person is alive. Akeredolu has been married to the woman for over 30 years and they've enjoyed a fruitful and happy union even while he was in private practice. He has never for once made any statement that suggests the woman is taking advantage of him. Now the man has blood cancer that took his life and a random nobody is spilling conspiracy theory about the woman being opportunistic and all sort of gibberish. If the woman believed in prayer, the man will most probably still die all the same. I remember Fayose's sister who is a strong believer who had breast cancer that year, she died eventually. The woman even celebrated her own death before she died eventually .(It was in Tribune newspaper that year) A regards the Owo church attack confessional video, the thing looks suspicious and scripted |
iamoyindamola:To be fair , at a point the fooolish man in the video said something like “ there’s no way a Yoruba wife would leave her husband to be dying abroad and be in Akure trying to amass wealth “…… But still I agree with u that people should stop giving fooolish people like the man in the video attention . Till now I don’t even know who the man in the video is and what he does for a living . Na Twitter people wey give am attention brought him to our consciousness . |
Come to think of it , all the 3 names of Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa seem to be poetic . We all know what lucky means because it is an English word . Orimisan roughly translates to “I am fortunate “ Aiyedatiwa roughly translates to “ The world is now ours “ Let’s wait and see how he will better the lot of his Ondo people now that the governance of the state fell on his lap with little or no effort . |
Oh look at that, the wife being igbo is suddenly the problem. Lmao this stuff is becoming mainstream. guys need to stop making fooolish people famous . The person in that video is an educated bigot talking about things he had little or no idea of. Was Dan Baba Suntai’s wife also Igbo when her husband was incapacitated but she kept up with the political game as long as she could ? Was Turai Yar Adua also Igbo when she did everything possible to put up a show as long as possible after her husband was incapacitated ? If Betty Akeredolu says she doesn’t believe in prayers , it’s definitely because she’s a realist . She knows u don’t pray away Leukemia that has entered critical stage before detection . Funny enough the fooolish guy standing in front of ring light making videos about Akeredolu May have prostate cancer and he doesn’t know yet because he hasn’t gone for checks . He doesn’t even know how his own wife will react to secure the bag despite his wife being Yoruba . Like I said earlier , stop making foolish people famous . |
Ibime:Na wa o, I no know say e reach this level . Na make she just divorce him and go back to the UK then; cos the man now has executive power and can do/undo in Nigerian settings |
Ibime:It was actually a woman rights group that accused him of beating his wife and he denied it claiming it was the figment of their imagination. They claimed he beats his wife but he denied t and the wife never came it publicly to accuse him herself . I think the wife resides in the UK sef , she’s not based in Nigeria . I guess that was why nothing really came out of the accusation . |
germaphobe:Most likely he just doesn’t like those players . If u go to Chelsea thread u will see people coveting those same 3 players he’s denigrating . Even pundits who are fans of other clubs can’t hide their admiration for those players . It’s only a person who don’t know ball that will leave assists and goals and say he’s looking for one personal attribute to judge an attacker . |
Hausa:How do u measure “High technical football IQ ? “ . What metrics is acceptable to u for a player to be regarded as highly technical ? Let’s start from there |
![]() Hleb, Nasri and Song grow but Saka ,Martinelli and Odegaard no grow ![]() Just dey play! Just say u don't like young players doing great for the club under a young manager and we will all understand. Except u know more than English national team, Brazil national team, Norwegian national team, the EPL and everybody within and outside the club that has appreciated the talent and professionalism of those young boys doing exploit not only at club level but at national team level. |
