uuzba: So can you layout topography of an area? Can you force the government to use the data? . In the absence of Government action, people just build house and live their life ... We can't be waiting for government. Where I live, everyone dug borehole to get water What again?! If I can afford a small caterpillar, I'll buy it and clear the road If you read in between lines, you'll have an understanding that the government owns all the blames because they've failed in been proactive. |

On the second thought ask her to relocate to Nigeria with you as well and forget her Thailand citizenship and get a Nigerian one. Both of you should then travel back to Thailand and live like a foreigner and permanent resident |

Government, build drainage and clear the existing ones frequently, NO, na to dey release official statement sending their deep regrets to the victims.
Naija Who told you it is just about dirt in the drainage that causes a flood. Start by asking if there is a professional laid out drainage system in place. Was the topography considered before the erection of structures? All this question begs to know the kind of government we have. |

Buhari & warmongering politicians have failed us. They continue to escalate tensions and the institutions are joining in this madness. Did you notice also. that PDP senators were offered juicy Senate committees' as Chairs. Taa! They have conspired to share our MONEY again. I will SHOUT O! Nonsense. What do you mean nobody has time. That's just the simple truth, there's a video online of a man in the USA that was shot in the head inside a car, the man even after about 10 to 15 minutes before medics came, bottom line he survived it. Battled his life but survived it.... But Nigeria here, after he got home, well as usual we won't say anything or face reality, we would just say " THAT'S HOW GOD WANTS IT TO BE". Virginnn: Bizarre! Tall Palm Tree Growing Inside A High Tension Electric Pole In Delta
Wonder will never end. So I traveled to my country home with my parents in Delta State. The other day, was going to the farm with my grandmother. There I saw it. A disaster waiting to happen. What tickled my fancy was the fact that the electric pole is right in the middle of tbhe town. not some far away forest.
Furthermore, there is usually this annual maintenance programme by whichever agency is in charge. How come they have been missing this?
That an important electricity facility like this one can be ignored speaks volume about our mentality as a people.
Here, calling on bloggers and the various news agencies to publicise this till it gets to the authorities in charge.
Note: this eyesore is located at the end of Ikpamaku Street, Adeje Town in Okpe LGA of Delta State. Wadoooo... Whoever is responsible for this maintenance is doomed |

Jakumo: Jogging is a pastime of the well-fed and the rich. By jogging down the street of ANY Nigerian city, one is advertising the fact that one is so well fed, as to seek weight loss via exercise. That is the sound of a cash register, to kidnappers and ritual murderers.
If you can afford to jog, then you can afford to buy a treadmill to use for exercise in the privacy of your home, so as not to wind up in the kidnapper's den after being spotted doing what only the rich do - jogging. What sick analysis is this. So because you are jogging then you can buy a treadmill. How much is sneakers or joggers, or bottle water. Protest to your security operatives and town planners to step up and stop being corrupt mediocres. Tell your government to bring about a balance in the society, protest that values be changed. You are hear blaming someone for jogging in an atmosphere of fresh air compared to a stuffy room |

I'm not condoning any behavior but if one has ever been at the receiving end of a thief drugged out and willing to kill over "just a phone" one won't hesitate if the tables are turned, because it might be you next week staring at a cutlass or gun in your direction.

I would like to know if I would be required to present my Nigerian passport at Muritala Mohammed Intl Airport in Lagos, before I can board, since there's no Nigerian visa on my new UK passport.
I am currently processing another Nigerian passport after I lost the former but I still possess an older one.
Advise from those familiar with this situation would be greatly appreciated! Go to British airways, with your British passport and buy your ticket, off you go |
