SportsRe: Andy Ruiz Accuses Tyson Fury Of Fat-shaming Him Ahead Of Rematch With A. Joshua by BluntBoy(m): 6:48pm On Sep 07, 2019
The reason why I have a lot of respect for Anthony Joshua is how he takes everything that comes his way like a man. No excuses, no blame sharing, no looking for scapegoats.

Hopefully, he bounces back and takes some vital lesson(s) from Ruiz. I have said it countless times that AJ is too one-dimensional. If he hopes to beat Ruiz in December, he must relearn his foot works and loosen up considerably.

AJ coach is the cause of his lose to Ruiz....
At the beginning , AJ has some advantages over him but when the match turned, the coach suppose to lemmme him know what to do... that is the work of the coach ....but the coach failed in his responsibility...so, AJ lost the match.... it's was so unfortunate....
I think AJ shld train and over train on his different lapses ....he has done it before and he can still do it again....
I did mention that a concussive punch from Ruiz began the end of Joshua's unbeaten run, didn't I?

Anyway, here is how Joshua himself described that punch:

"I was 50 percent of the way towards getting a win, just got caught. That’s why I said it was a punch from the gods. It wasn’t a lucky punch from him, but I train to defend that. It was a shot which just caught me on the head and I couldn’t recover. It was pitch perfect.”

Okay... Let's omit the "luck". That still leaves him as little...and yes FAT!!!... That's not body-shaming when you state the obvious.

Is calling a 6'5 man "tallest" also body-shaming??! If your champ is sensitive about his weight, he should make better use of his gym, or ask A.J for shredding tips.
I have explained that calling someone fat is not ordinarily body or fat shaming. The motive is what matters.

For instance, calling someone fat to point out their inadequacies is fat shaming.

For example, if you tell someone that they are too fat to kick a ball, you are fat shaming them.

And as for shredding tips, Andy Ruiz has obviously shown that it doesn't matter. He doesn't need it. Just this year alone, he beat two tall and muscular guys in a space of less than three months. He knocked one out and scored four knockdowns against AJ.

What's the fuss about? You are a "little fat guy" who got lucky to drop a celebrity albeit untested champion.

...And did he just talk up fighting Fury? The punishment that day will be ridiculous. Fury will not only knock him flat, but also trim off some pounds off that flab. grin
This is the problem I have with many Nigerians. Always bringing seemingly impossible events down to luck.

Did you not follow events in the buildup towards the fight? A lot of hard work went into Ruiz's camp. He fought hard and earned that victory. It was not luck.

He knocked AJ down 4 times. Even if you call one knockdown luck. How can you call 4 knockdowns luck? How many people has AJ knocked down four times in a match?

You people keep fat shaming this hardworking dude. It is not fair. He beat AJ emphatically. There was no element of luck there.

You can't blame the coach.

Joshua received a concussive punch to the temple and was never the same. He was beaten black and blue, and not even the best coach in the world could have saved him.

Do you know that at a point in the match, Joshua lost all sense of time and couldn't even tell one round from the other? That was a result of that concussive punch he received in the 3rd round.

Is it fat shaming if you call an obvious fat person fat?
Yes, there might be elements of fat-shaming when you call someone fat.

For instance, if you hint at someone's lack of ability when you call them fat, you are fat shaming them.

People fat shamed Andy Ruiz in the buildup to Joshua-Ruiz 1. Even though everyone knew Ruiz had potentials, they still underrated him based solely on the fact that he struggles with his weight. That is a very unfair way to judge a boxer like Ruiz who has only had one loss in his entire career, and what a controversial loss it was.

But, I don't see any fat shaming in Fury's interview because Fury simply highlighted the fat-shaming that Ruiz suffered during the buildup to the match against Joshua.

have u seen mercy's throwback pic? If no, i can send it to you. Have u seen her siblings? they are fair too. So stop comparing Mercy with Tacha.
But her legs are multicolored.

Perhaps, she is naturally light-skinned, but it is evident that she had or still uses bleaching creams.

The problem with some light-skinned people is that they don't understand the connection between melanin and skin color. When we spend a lot of time in the sun, our bodies produce any of two types of melanin which considerably/significantly darkens our skins.

When someone does a lot of her hustles in the sun, and she begins to get dark, she begins to worry. Rather than embrace natural lightening options like exfoliation, and healthy moisturization, they start looking for skin brightening creams many of which are bleaching creams with deadly chemicals like mercury and hydroquinone. The effects are those multicolored skin you have on someone like Mercy.

Moreover, both of them ranted at each other few days ago thus I don't know what you are talking about. Khafi, the parrot doesn't even keep quiet in the face of confrontations. She was quiet cos she knew they all left Tacha to do the work all alone hence admitted her wrong.

Mike though if he supports 'Nigerian Athlete' cos they gave him credit and does not run back to britain, may also get good deals especially with his already established business.
Perhaps, if they take your advice, they should get offers.

And even at that, they look like they would have to work for the endorsements. And they both look lazy to me, especially Mike.

Your howlers were too many, so I decided that you weren't mentally fit for a healthy argument.

And when you made the last howler, I decided I should leave you. I mean, how could you have imagined that anyone against your praising of Goodluck Jonathan supports today's pains? This claim fails the test of logical thinking. It would mean that anyone who criticizes Goodluck or his administration supports Buhari or supports what you ambiguously term "today's pains".

Then, when I decided to let you be since it is very difficult to argue with a close-minded person, you made another howler, misjudging my parting shot as a show of submission. Submission to what exactly?

Tacha has a lot of personal resources, especially her makeup skills. Seyi has done a few advertisements before the house, so he is a finished product with the bonus of much better offers. Mercy, I haven't really paid much attention to, but I strongly believe she has clout now, and would get endorsements anyhow.

I don't know what to really say about Mike and Frodd.

There is something about Jonathan,an aura of wonders. As a human , no one is perfect but this man is visionary. An epitome of greatness. He is not foolish per se but a man filled with wisdom. So many people who worked in favour of voting this gentleman out, cry silently
As for the bold, one would wonder how you knew this.

And you called Jonathan a visionary. I wonder what he did differently either as a state governor or president that made you feel so. He couldn't see a recession coming, and when the Economist warned him about it, he still couldn't will himself to combat corruption, nor find a wise way to encourage savings.

And you also feel he is filled with wisdom? Wisdom that couldn't translate into good governance. His many blunders are an obvious evidence of his lack of wisdom.
