PoliticsRe: More Pictures Of Nnamdi Kanu Inside European Union Headquarters by BluntBoy(m): 12:57pm On Sep 13, 2019
Ikeg1:
Okay I'll "stop decieving ourselves" when you go to EU Parliament as a civilian, enter the building, go directly to the chambers where the MEPs meet while the MEPs are having a meeting there, sit down in one of the chairs, and take a picture. Then I'll "stop deceiving ourselves".

I don't live in EU but I live in USA so I'll use the equivalency of it to explain the difficulty of such task. The UN building can equally be visited by a tourist anydsy but, there are destinations meant specifically for tourist. The chambers were officials meet isn't one of it unless empty likewise, the same with the white house. The white house can be visited by everybody no matter how but, there are areas not allowed to tourist unless occupied by a tour guide and can only be visited if only no official is present such as the presidential office, dinning room, etc.

Therefore, you have to be highly gullible if you believe civilians are allowed to walk in to a political chambers without invitation, sit at the chambers seats right next to the political figures without any protection around, and start having conversations with them. Extremely foolish. Repeat those steps and I'll stop "decieving ourselves".

They should prove themselves by exposing their discussion to a nation that's murdering them for what they are discussing about. You are clearly not sane
You can attend an EU meeting and not participate. Farmers, businessmen, students, have all attended this meetings which of course is not the Council meeting which are highly secure. To get into such an EU meeting that is not a Council meeting of heads of states, all you need is a pass.

If you are not participating, you would be put in a corner of the hall.

Kanu's seat does not even have his name to it. This shows that he just made an appearance. He was not there to participate in the meeting. More like an excursion trip to an EU meeting.

Honestly after reading my post and you tell me am having illiterate mindset" really shows ignorance and lack of proper education on your part... Literacy means ability to read and write...

Now to answer you how entertainment boost productivity, if you were any knowledgeable, you would know why top firms take staffs on resort and paid vacation, you would know why in the civil service l you are entitled to anual paid vacation or a 13 month salary if you defer it... i suggest you check the HR model of a firm like Google or its parent company ABC..

And for concrete study read or google Schiens classification of human motivation to work.,

Check Marslow hierachy of needs and Mc gregors theory X and Y

This are standards in HR management, so read and dont die ignorant with dogma of money controlling life

Is it the money spent on vacation that triggers productivity or the vacation itself?

You are obviously not very bright.

Its okay OOOOO

Stop arguing with them

Yes we know ,voters are still the biggest losers in BBN

But its for the game's sake ,its all fun

Sometimes opportunity comes from there too

I remember during uti's time ,I made a few tight heavily loaded friends ,got on some business (construction) deals and if I tell you how much I got ,you'd be surprised

So BB is not entirely unproductive and useless
OK, in that case, not all the voters.

And mind you, I never said it is unproductive and useless.

I only said when comparing gainers and losers, voters are the biggest losers.

The keyword is biggest

I know people with your kind of mindset, thinking overly frugal and extra careful over a life which truly isn't gurranteed, perhaps its your background or your personalty..

But look, fact remains if you don't spend to entertain yourself you can never be productive in life, top HR executives know this theory

But i.guess you still have a lot to learn, the best of the top CEO dont joke with 8 hours sleep, or their annual vacation and Their Favourite entertainment , for some its sport like buying football teams for fun, hosting golf tournaments, sex with the top models with high cost escort fees and for others its adrenaline they get from skydiving, fast cars etc

So in writting your life plan ( similar to business plan) make your life run around what makes you happy rather than money money money...

.
You are still missing a lot.

Imagine someone saying "if you don't spend to entertain yourself, you will never be productive"

Such an illiterate mindset cheesy

Entertainment is great, but show me a reliable study that established a correlation between getting entertained and productivity?

Since such things as entertainment and productivity are relative, I will like you to tell me how BBN entertainment makes you (you, in particular) productive?

And supposing BBN entertainment pushes you in one way or the other to be productive, can you honestly establish a correlation between money paid for entertainment and productivity you get from the entertainment?

Let me break it down. Perhaps, you get motivated to do something by watching an arena game. Can you honestly say that the money you spent on voting was what triggered the motivation?

If Dangote decides to see a movie for 10k dollars which he would ordinarily see for 10k naira, what is the assurance that Dangote paid for the immediate entertainment he gets from the movie and not that he went to do business with associates in the guise of seeing a movie?

After all, I have been to a movie just so I could sell a plan to someone. I spent 5k, but the business plan that I sold was worth far more.

Once again, let me reiterate that I am not condemning the show. I have hustled votes for my Seyi. I am merely wondering at the business acumen of the show organizers.

May God uplift you so that you can entertain yourself with money, so you can control your money and not serve money or let money control you.... i really do thank God for changing my mindset after seeing how the emarati's live..

So my friend fans are not loosing anything, its part of the entertainment.. remember you are alive to live to the fullest, and not living merely to be alive..

800k is less than £4k that some pay to sleep a night in an hotel

...
Your mindset has obviously changed for the worse because you now live blindly by other people's terms.

How can you be sure that those who pay 800k for a night in a hotel would not recoup their money in tenfolds before morning?

My brother, stop living by other people's terms. There is nothing bad in appreciating money, and there is nothing demeaning in putting money to good use.

And mind you, I never said the voters are losers. Rather, I wrote that the voters are the biggest losers.

And I also wrote that in the end

Which means the present excitement and entertainment would end, but with nothing concrete to hold on to after the investment.

These are questions u will ask your self if truly u want to be constructive with criticism.

Joy, fun and happiness comes in different ways.. In addition to relief from stress. Nothing is given free even in Freetown.
Why are you misunderstanding a simple matter?

Does your post refute my claim that the voters are the biggest losers? Does it?

I am not against this show. I have been hustling votes for Seyi all afternoon. But it doesn't mean I am incapable of seeing the reality of things. At first, it was when Jackye's boyfriend said he spent over a million naira on votes, and then today when Three.bear mentioned 800k. All these things got me thinking.

I began to wonder about things like profits and operating costs, and how sponsorship and adverts would be enough to sufficiently cover operating costs. And how, at the end of the day, everyone, including every housemate, smiles to the bank, while only the voters go home empty-handed.

It is just me reflecting on things. I am not condemning.

From reliable source, MunchIT alone gave them 30m as one of the co-sponsors

Do the maths with others
And that is MunchIT alone. And there are others as well.

Now, all the housemates have won at least 200,000 naira if I am not mistaken. The only losers so far are the voters. At the end of the show, every housemate would have a platform upon which to push themselves far. The winner gets the lion's share, and everyone is happy. The voters whose favorite won are happy. Very soon, everyone moves on. Only the voter has nothing to show for everything. Even bragging rights would vanish into thin air in a matter of days.

there are no losers, the organisers will spend at 100m + the cash price 30m, the remaining 30m prices are being paid for by others sponsors, the main show sponsor bet9ja will pay like 50 to 150m to be the main sponsor, the other sponsors will pay like 20 to 70 for adverts and other placements, dstv subscription will spike by like 15%

if they spent 150 they are making close to 400m with sponsors alone

sms votes is just icing on their cake and a way to give u the power to financially keep someone there, everybody can vote online but its wouldnt be effective like paying many people to load their phones and vote, thats why online votes have more options are than sms votes, do u know that sms votes are only for nigerians?

online votes the whole africa can vote, the fans can tune in and use their money to invest in their favorites as they please, i believed that jacky boyfriend spent that money cause the longer she stayed the more money should would have won from tasks
You tried explaining how operating costs would run down profits for the organizers. Your explanation had a lot of holes, but that is not the point.

You failed to explain to me why there would be no losers.

No matter how huge operating costs are, organizers would recoup their investments. It is very obvious. But what is the gain of the voters? If you say, entertainment, then I can confidently tell you that entertainment shouldn't be that expensive. Even with a GOTV Plus subscription, you get a channel dedicated to the show.

What a waste of money. Money ought not to forgive anyone who wastes it that way, except he is well placed to recoup it like Jackye's boyfriend whose girlfriend brought home some cash, and also now has a platform to project herself to the world.

Honestly, the person that thought up this game is a genius. Damn, the organizers have more than recouped their investments. Operating costs would pale beside the profits at the end of the show.

In all, the voters are the biggest losers.

I am not in a position to check right now but I don’t think ministers need a degree. Don’t fall into the mistake Atikus supporters are making of thinking that because everybody submits certificate, that the law actually asks for certificate.
I think a minister needs certificate (degrees). As a matter of fact, a minister ought to be an expert in a field from which he is then drafted into a cabinet to head a ministry.

For instance, a minister of power ought to be an expert in any of fields like energy or physics. The president depends excessively on the ministries and these ministeries depend excessively on the expertise of the ministers heading them.

It is in Nigeria that you find a lawyer heading a ministry of power or a lawyer heading the ministry of aviation.

edlion57:
We should as well apply for any federal job without certificate... See it is useless in Nigeria
If the jobs don't demand certificates, you can apply.

The Constitution demands only proof of education up to secondary school level (not even a certificate), so Buhari is well-qualified for that post.

However, to be a minister, you must have had a career (an illustrious career is a plus), and careers demand degrees. So, to be a minister, you need degrees. For instance, you cannot be a minister with just proof of education up to secondary school level. You cannot be a minister of finance with just a school cert. but you can become a president with just a school cert. as far as the Nigerian constitution is concerned.

So, for every job, there are guidelines. Some jobs ask for a minimum of OND, some ask for a minimum of BSc. For the presidential job, the constitution asks for at least a proof of education up to secondary school level.

So, tell me where the problem is, or what you and Yul don't still understand?

In my own opinion, Adekunle Gold has only minimal talent as far as music is concerned. He is the sort of singer who would be unable to think up a song quickly even with all the inspiration in this world. But once in a while, he composes a fine song or rehashes one of his old tunes and knocks them up into another song.

As for Simi, I think she does more of studio engineering, backups, and songwriting than composition.

And the fact that the genre of music both husband and wife have chosen is relatively unpopular in Nigeria, it is not very encouraging.
