Use conference call any phone can do it.

Give them options:

Suggest you all donate for Mama to get a new accommodation, a help will be gotten for her and you all will take turns to spend a day or two or weekend in her house.

But she needs to leave your home.
Say it to their hearing.

OR

Every one takes turn housing Mama.
One person has done it already.
You have done your round, the next person must now take over from you.

Then keep quiet and let them contribute.
The next person must be picked before that call ends or the meeting closes.

If they drag their foot,
Take your wife and the kids and take time off to a place where you all can just breathe.

The guy living in one bedroom has no excuse except he is not in good terms with Mama.

The last child who happens to live in a one bedroom self contained apartment is the only make among them. He comes around at least twice a week and he's the one in charge of their mother's account and spendings.

He gives my wife money for upkeeps and buys necessary things mama needs.

His only complain is that his apartment is too small to accommodate mama and his family of three. He got married last year.

I understand Ur plight. I feel for you. However I am one who has soft spot for anything 'mother'. I will suggest that you endure in as much as she's not giving other issues.

No any other issue except my wife bathing her and doing some other things.

Her staying with us isn't the issue but I am fighting for my wife's health . Mymaternal grandmother lived us while growing for more than 20 years. I even left her in my dad's house after I got married. She died in our house and wake keep and other things done in my father's house but grandma was buried in her church cemetery.

Yes, she's battling from ulcer. We have done that already. We have a lot finding permanent cure to this ailment. My wife is also in medical line.

Recently, she took in intravenous injection which costs over #40k with drugs. She's feeling better now and isn't feeling the ulcer pain for now.

I am just a little bit relieved but I am afraid cos this isn't our first time spending so much on the deadly ailment.

Considering the situation of things, you can engage the kids to also help with a thing or two since someone already comes to help with some other house duties.

I do help a lot. This is funny at all. I do a lot ve-in f house chores which I can't mention here.

The children do help in their own capacity but remember the eldest among them is barely 7yo.

Wifey does the bathing and MIL is so lean, weak and frail she can't stand on her own without support. We have spent a lot in private hospitals, FMC, Unimed, Akure and other sources of bringing her back to life. Allo no avail. They saw nothing wrong with MIL who's just 66yo.

Even first class laboratories in the city we live in saw no abnormalities in her.

We are just looking up to miracle to happen.

I'm sure mama appreciates being part of a family. Try to take the weight off your wife by getting hands to help out.

Cmon bro, are you for real? These are entirely two different nd opposite issues and you should thread with caution here. Though I understand your concern over your wife's health but you still sound tired of your MIL presence in your home. Mothers have favorite daughters who share the same amount of feelings towards each other and from your narration, your wife and her mother are each other's favorite and that's why she's comfortable with her than the rest. You could see from your wife's effort despite her health condition that she truly love and care about her mother and will stand by her no matter what. It might give her joy and contentment helping her hailing mother as a repay for raising her and you want to take that away from her? Pls don't be the villain here!!
These are some of the sacrifices that comes with marriage and that the brother is always sending in upkeep and checking up on her should be some sort of relief on you. You should be glad your MIL choose your wife and there's a lot of blessings for those who stand by their parents when they become old. You see now, that is the problem with relationships this days. Instead of you to make your position immediately, your lovey dovey will just keep you from taking your stand. Look at how your wife took her stand by telling you not to interfere in her family issue. Why can't you take your own stand from the onset. By now she would have known you to be a man of your word.

My eldest bro sent our 4th born from his house because he refused working, only lazing around home after he has gone to work.

I am also in this dilemma. Wifey has been very sick and managing so CE over six years now. Though she goes to work (health officer).

My wifey the third born has been battling with ulcer since over six years and has grown lean. We are family of five living in two bedroom rented apartment. Gave one to mama.
Despite the fact that someone comes around to clean and help and goes back when done, wifey still does a lot of work taking care of her. At times I feel pity for her, with her health condition.

Last born who's ismale also lives in the same with us but claims he can't accommodate mama cos he lives in a room and parlor self contained apartment. He's been so supportive ensuring we lack nothing. He's in charge of Mama's account and drops money regularly for upkeeps. He also comes around at least thrice a week to check mama.

My problem is my wifey's health. She isn't fine and still takes care of her ailing mother.
