@ thank you ma for waking up and shitting. Well, those in support that the OP should have said thank you to the MIL are mostly the igbos because that's how they do it there. But to me that's nonsense as it doesn't make any sense except it was the MIL that cooked or served the meal. Thanking the wife for a well prepared meal is in order or for serving him but for the MIL, that's nonsense.
