mamatwiny: Sometimes, it is not just luck, but ppl don't know where to look . Some ppl limit themselves to Nigeria job market whereas there are tons of foreign recruiters looking for such skills,For example, there is a recruiter in Canada that is sourcing for programmers. They arrange interview for you on Skype as soon as you apply with a programming skill set . And when they hire you, you are on your way to Canadian PR. They will prepare your working permit and travel docs in less than 2 weeks. Another country is Germany. If you have good IT skills, you look for jobs on one website like that ( i have forgotten the name) the website is in German so you will have to open with chrome and translate to English to apply. They give you employment visa even without the A2 German language which they usually require from other ppl from other occupations. So with UK, getting a global talent visa as an experienced IT person is easy. I can go on and on.
The person I pity most is my son. He must start coding b4 8years.Each time I look at him,he doesn't know why? I will so mentor him that his peers will be no where close, God willing . I also pray for good health and finance to be able to send him to all the trainings that will shoot him fast. Can I DM you? |

staga: Trying to pity someone who was ready to pay you 28,000 British pounds (not even dollars) per year as a remote worker?
Your village people got you real good. Listen.
I knew Akin Alabi of Nairabet from years back before he even hammered. He told me one thing I will never forget: never cheapen the value of your product!
Ever since that day, I charge clients premium rates. You could have been the work hub coordinator setting the rates paid for accommodation and other expenses.
That's why God said that His people are destroyed not for lack of prayer and fasting, but KNOWLEDGE!
Oh! Na wa! He mentioned the bolded... I think I undervalued myself... He kept asking me if 28k was base without allowance or not. I later found out that fresh college graduates earn that amount. And the role I applied for was senior developer... He expected me to say something like 60k |

staga: Why did you not source an office accommodation and bill them for it? I was trying to pity them. They offered to rent one for me. They asked me to find one. I told them my place was comfortable. I'm sure they felt I was not a serious person. |

KillerBeauty: Yeah I use wework. Always get regret mails for all my applications. I've seen jobs for 18$ per hour job but that doesn't translate to 80k a month. Even crossover for work pay 30k dollars a year for software support engineer position.
80k CAD a month is over stretching it. Did you get crossover? I haven't been able to pass the ccat |

CokeBar: Share your experience with us if you have ever been fired. It would be better if we can share:
1. Why we were fired? 2. How did the firing process happen? 3. Aftermath of being fired… how did you feel, have you recovered, did you get something better?
So, I’ll start:
Sometimes last year, I got an unbelievable offer (well above #750k) at a remote company. I bought a PC, subscribed for large data and set-up a workspace. On Monday which was resumption day, I turned on my PC, logged in and started the online meeting… everything went well for the first day and I got introduced to my colleagues. My friend and I actually got employed for same position, so we usually chatted while working. To be onboarded, we had to install a productivity monitoring tool on our PCs, we were told everything we did on the PC would be captured if the tool was turned ON but I really don’t know why I cared less.
On Wednesday same week, we had a short and simple test, during the test, I asked my friend for an answer as I wasn’t so sure, he responded and that was it.
On Thursday, I had a quick one-on-one call with my manager, I was fired. Apparently, I wasn’t supposed to ask for assistance while taking the test. I apologized but the answer was a straight NO (you sabi how oyinbo people strict). So in other words, I was sacked because I cheated ☹.
Well, they paid me for the few days I worked
I have experienced other sad situations, but this has to be the worst. I was so depressed, the following Sunday, I went to Church and it was while Pastor asked us to greet our neighbor, I remembered I didn’t brush… LMAO.
Now, I got something with abit lesser pay but still very chilled I got a remote too but the guy told me to find a hub they can pay for. I told him my house was comfortable. That was how I lost it.. 28k pounds |

McCoy662: Good evening my good people. Our result just came out today and my worst imagination has happened. I saw my name in 2:2 division, what I have always tried to avoid since my year 1. I know it's my project supervisor that fvcked me up cause he has been hostile to me for no reason. I feel really bad, but that did has been done.
So, I just want to know how bad is 2:2 in Nigerian market? Is it something to count on or should I just move on like I never went to the university??
I need answers please!! ' i dont think your project supervisor was the problem. |
Travel › Re: How Has The Ban On Keke And Okada In Lagos Affected You? by boiz2men(m): 10:28pm On Feb 01, 2020 |
qtx: Not so easy, however, if you drive in Lagos, you won't mind whatever consequences emanate from the ban. Those guys(both Okada and keke) are a nuisance. Someone will just dive into your front and expect you to match breaks in a flash and apologize to him.
Most times they brush your ride and still come and harass you. flying at the center of the express trying to compete with cars yet carrying passengers. Most times cause an accident and escape while people are dying in the process. They rob people early in the morning and evenings using guns and knives.
Their crimes are too much. See what keke did to me From nowhere.

My dear favoryte33, ignore this rancorous element.
I'm really speechless right now as I just woke to this now and seeing someone attacking my admirer. Thanks faroryte33. I admire your courage to say this before the thousands of people here. Noted. Martinez39: Ignorance is a disease. Have a wonderful day. I like how differing opinion is ignorance to you. As knowledgeable as you are (since everyone but you is ignorant) , hope you have millions in your account and you have vehicles because some of us you call ignoramus have these things. It will be a shame if you don't. I mean with all that knowledge you think you have. |
Romance › Re: The Alarming Rate Of Paternity Fraud Going On In The Society by boiz2men(m): 1:57pm On Jan 19, 2020 |
Martinez39: Don't try to cover up. There was no sarcasm, you all were basking and masturbating with the supposed information on Ubunja. By the way, I have always been open about me being a virgin. I am what is called a mgtow monk (men who refrain from marriage, sex, and children). From an early age of thirteen, I decided not to get married. On a thread of mine titled What Is Wrong With This Set Of Married Women? I clashed the renowned idi0t called Lilwetdick and I openly declared that I was a virgin even though I have had many green light from ladies. He tried to shame me for being a virgin but when I asked him what's wrong in being a virgin, he could answer as expected. We later clashed again on another thread. This time he insisted I was a virgin, gay man, and porn addict. I asked him again what is wrong in being a virgin, he still couldn't answer. No one can answer reasonable without resorting to sentiments, emotions, and subjectivity.
The only thing I can change is my decision to have children. In such case, I will go for a surrogate mum.
When it comes to the red pill, sensible people will focus on the message instead of the messenger. Even if Ubunja is the poorest man alive, it won't have any bearing on the truthfulness his message. Gosh! SMH Actually a true alpha male or redpiller is player and fucvks women as he pleases... if you are a virgin, you are no alpha male and you have no game... No offense intended |
