Uncle , Please can you kindly wash the engine and report the pix. that may help.....are the parts in the market? |
Autolord:Holier than thou is the name of this attitude. The president visited the victims and issued a statement.......... Even when a loved one dies ................you dont smile at all again abi?....... I beg carry your holier than thou attitude go front! |
rozayx5:Likely you stay in Australia in solitary confinement...call all the enumerated phantom and you probably dont exist |
OZAOEKPE:I beg you o , I like the man emptyman who can help stabilise power......reduce insurgency ...arrest thieves..increase external reserves and reduce government waste within 4 months. I prefer this to a fool man who squandered all our collective wealth in 1 term and two years with little to show other than corruption galore! |
adconline: |
kettykin:It is clear the government is trying to save the foreign reserves and reduce the artificial and arbitrary pricing of the naira exchange rate caused by the demand for imports. Its a very aggressive attempt to reduce imports.....the only down side is that they should aggresively be stimulating local industries and they are not just doing that Also, they are trying to make sure financial transactions are all done within the banking system. Carrying cash above a limit is an offence in any country of the world. Does this make sense? |
OZAOEKPE:No sir......not only in Nigeria. The rupturing of Pipelines is a matter of Internal security and could distabilise the economy and raise Militia. Any Security outfit saddled with the responsibility the DSS of Nigeria is saddled with shall perform the same operation of guarding pipelines. Do not compare the DSS with the US secret service.....I see this happen often. |
Sahara Reporters WAS credible and Upright but like the Nigerian Political class , I think they have lost it? The story is laced with personal vendetta What does the Uniform of a driver have to do with the Business of growing our economy and building a virile nation? Shame on Sahara lets face the real issues and stop farting around |
...Yep ..Good news! another Rapist, robber , street orchin off the radar, please kill yourselves some more ...let the rest of us have peace. |
.Make up your mind poster...is it the police or DSS? If you want to split a nation its not a tea party. Felony and treason are very serious offences...if you joke with these offenses the state will not Joke with you. Face the music and don't be a weakling! |
I am very worried to hear this story. There are some key questions that need to be asked; Where are his children? did he not train and empower them? Does he not earn pension? Cant he go back to his village? Over 40 years in service and he did not build one house for himself? What could have befallen him that set him back so badly? It has nothing to do with stealing or not stealing? |
These type of people will do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING for money and power. I hope Buhari is aware that he should not listen to the counsel of such unstable and unprincipled people. I respect Onyeka as a singer and actress, but as a politician? .....her hustle is AGIP..I don't respect that |
Fastfingers:Wow....I apologise for addressing you as a guy...well you have done what many men will have failed to do! Kudos and I salute your courage. remember Fashola's words ..." when you wrestle with a PIG, the pig gets happy and you get dirty" ignore the half wits insulting you.......Most reasonable people will ask questions before castigating...........from my experience , 90% of posters on Nairaland are here because of FREE MB or CHEAP MB. When I joined Nairaland, internet services were still exclusive and we had meaningful and intellectual discussions because of the CALIBER of people who had access. Now cheap internet access means people with no wits now have a chance to post on Nairaland...well, in a democracy we need to accommodate everyone but you can refuse to allow a PIG get you dirty. Not worth it , dont respond, if you notice they only post one liners of insult...most of them cannot construct a full paragraph or sentence that makes sense. |
Well done Bro ...you did well by not responding to the many insults from people who sit in their comfort zones and post. Sad to hear that quite sad. Another problem is the attitude of the POLICE and out healthcare workers. Our NGO once helped a victim, he died on the way to the hospital , I was in detention for some hours and charged for MURDER until I started pulling strings. Medical workers are worse than demons in hell...especially public facilities ..they simply dont care and they have NO empathy for victims or patients. Well done bro ...what you have done is better that doing nothing ........I pray good deeds will come your way and anyone who curses you will have cursed himself |
TolaOluwatosin:Wow , this is good and I wonder why the Administration could not come up with this list , I guess they were too incompetent to sell themselves. The issue you have with APC is that they know how to sell themsleves. Dont blame APC for the inability of PDP to sell itself. I am not competent to speak for all the states but I can see that there are a couple of lies in there? [/code]The farmers e wallet scheme is a scamSure P was a scam though benefited a few non connected persons Lagos: Lagos – Kano Rail Revival Commissioning of New Air Conditioned Train Coaches and other rail way Services in Lagos - This is Partially true ■SURE – P Projects on Primary Health Centre. Where?...lie from the pits of hell ■e – Wallet System in the distribution of the agricultural inputs to the Farmers and the Dry Season Farming Projects. A big scam ■Third Mainland Bridge phase 2 The bridge was only painted.......portholes shabbily patched...no relaying of alsphalt all at the cost of 1billion! ■Lagos – Sagamu road rehabilitated lie from the pits of HELL ■Installation of 1000 Close Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras to boost security of lives and property white elephant project I can also see a couple of lies in Kwara and Osun but he did something , it cannot be correct to say the guy was useless. |
naijaFrank:You are one of the few reasonable ones left; but diminishing fast....for those few like yourselves , there will be hope for the country and Buhari has proven that if you have a focused and honest leader , the populace will fall in line. My parents told me early in life that I MUST NOT allow another man's money to mix with my money. I have trained my mind to grow up like that. Many people these days lack parental guidance and hence live like animals....simple! In the words of my mentor Fashola BRF" when you wrestle a pig , the pig gets happy and you get dirty"...The people who feel the guy should hold the money should not be fought but should be pitied and given sympathy! Cheers |
Hmmm...As a people, we are quick to Judge and to abuse! How many of you condemning the poster have actually taken time to use the emergency lines when you saw a body on the street? an accident, a breakdown? a crime going on? when you see a threat to the generality of others etc etc? ..usually most will just move along and "THANK GOD FOR NOT BEING THE VICTIM OR PRAY AGAINST BEING THE VICTIM"!......If you fall in into this category , you are worse than the onlookers or picture takers!! For those who have called a few times or often...well done but ...How many of you have taken time to write the authorities over the slow response or non response by the emergency services? or the clumsy coordination on most occasions or the inter agency rivalry? I laugh when I see road safety at aircrash scenes and they do not show up when a young man like this gets knocked over. I say the foregoing , because I preside over an NGO that helps such victims. Having said this; The poster has done a bit to help the relatives of the victim if they are available online to trace him. Finally , I must say that the younger generation have NO REGARD and FEAR of vehicles, you see people strolling carelessly on the roads as if the vehicle will suffer damage when it hits them. Many of the accidents involving pedestrians result from lack of attention with the use of ear phone and use of electronic gadgets, out right stupidity and the new craze to pose with cars. I am a village boy and I =RUN from cars because I have no control over the cars and the people who drive them (many are mentally impaired). Why risk my life? If you look at the pix very well the victim was on the road , I suspect he was strolling carelessly without regard for vehicles. My own opinion and penny for my thoughts! No harm intended |
Just out of curiosity ...i am trying to follow this case but seems it has gone cold, does anyone know what has become of this matter?? |
Those commercial bus drivers on that route are demon possessed..those Hiace drivers believe they are invincible. I hope the driver of the Agofure survives to learn a good lesson about not driving against traffic ...and patience |
richardjemedafe1:Evidence of total moral decadence! |
I strongly feel , whoever is the principal officer of the university who has the responsibility to provide a conducive learning environment but failed to...should be charged with manslaughter! Until the government officials are held accountable for their negligence and corruption we would not make progress as a Nation |
drss:You are just a Goodluck Jonathan!...defined as an epitome of cluelessness, corruption and stealing and outright intellectual bankruptcy! |
Small Immature boy...a man should keep quiet in the face of such provocation. |
Stolen wealth ....easy come easy go! |
jammani:I noticed a trnd these days where pedestrians take all forms of vehicles for granted ...you see people strolling carelessly on the wrong side of the road , when you horn , they look at you with disdain as if to say "im I supposed to leave the road for you". These days when you drive , you have to be careful with Pedestrians, bikes, kekes, and bus drivers. Would you call an accident resulting from an act of carelessness DESTINY?. I feel its a problem with the Psyche of our people. When I was growing up, I was taught how to avoid traffic and walk on the right side of the road. |
AreaFada2:Sir , I was a witness to the former NSO and the early days SSS under Babanginda. I never saw the NSO issuing press statements , accusing opposition , flauting their capabilities on the streets or OPENLY aligning with ruling parties. We all know they had a hand in some high profile assassinations but did they not do their thing covertly? Even under Abacha when this aggressiveness of govt started, the SSS did not jump into the fray. SSS under Obasanjo was politicised but not as brazen and careless as under Jona. Sir, it is normal for the SSS to align with the president as they work directly with the president . The SSS is meant to protect the president and key officials and also work with the president to preserve internal security.....Hence they will always be partial to the ideals of Mr President. However, they should know when to draw the line as a professional organisation. It is not supposed to be a private army for My President. Finally, whether we like it or not, we have failed the in your words FACE BOOK GENERATION and it is not a bad thing for them to be a face book generation. I hope they will do better than our own generation. Ask, have we given them the chance and opportunities we had? |
Rawani:I agree with you totally....its very difficult to be Political and Professional! In the hey days of NSO (now DSS) they were completely invincible and they had intelligence real time. They were quietly embedded EVERYWHERE and they were effective. They would have provided the intelligence on the Boko haram threat before it started and would have people within the sect.......fast forward to 2011 - 2015 1. They intimidate Opposition or perceived opposition openly .....they became the armed youth wing of PDP carrying out immoral and borderline illegal acts under the protection of national security 2. They became very visible wearing the shirt and logos shamelessly at a time when even the SARs (state antirobbery squads) of the police went to working covertly. i never imagined in my lifetime that the revered DSS will be conducting press conferences to parade criminals...they should hand them over to the relevant prosecuting agencies. 3. they aligned with the President without focus and ultimately lost their focus on preserving internal security. This is what you get when you appoint people based on sentiments. The Director General and the management of the DSS destroyed the REPUTATION of a fine and professional organisation that had the respect of the local and international community. There are fine officers in the service and dedicated and honest law enforcers. the misdemeanor of the DSS management has splashed mud all over these fine officers. I hope the erring Management staff get punished severely for their misdemeanors and not only loss of office. |
Why are people blindly blaming the police? I think we love sensationalism so much and we all pretend to be saints . If you know the antecedents of the Danfo drivers you will rejoice that they have finally met their match They have contempt for other road users , they deliberately bash peoples vehicles and they think they are invincible. Even for pedestrians they have no regard. Left to me they should be off the streets. They are what you can call necessary evil Just yesterday morning I saw an accident where the danfo hit the back side of a car at an intersection. Obviously the danfo man did it deliberately; they are wicked souls. They actually hate private vehicle owners . When they hit a car , they gather and use begging to harass you knowing fully well that you may not have the time and patience to follow them to the repairers. They are so unruly that they instinctively break order and road rules and they are first to escape, they defy police, lastma and all traffic regulatory agencies , who have given up on them, only the military forces can contain them. Its good to know that they can be sliced and diced in their own sauce..........while its not the best way to deal with them at least its good thy are getting some payback. Danfo drivers do not know the language of civility and law and order.......why is everyone then blaming the police? Good for the danfo man! I doubt if anyone who has a good car in Lagos will not smile at this |
i believe the sanitary conditions of your compound or the next needs improvement.......rid the area of hiding places for snakes and other reptiles....however indeed you are very brave! |
At least they now have an idea that they are not invincible! |
kromoto:very reasonable post.....kudos bro Sensationalism is killing us as a people.......Nigerians behave like goats and we want to be treated like lambs. Why did he not stop for the police officer, if he had killed the officer he would definitely not have stopped. He looks like one of those cab drivers who have no regards for traffic laws and other road users yet quick to beg after scratching ones vehicle. I think Nigerians require force to make them comply and respect constituted authority. Its a reflection of our national life. |
there is a gun called PUMP ACTION.....tell your dad to protect his family with it! |
get off nairaland and check news sites and the cbn website sheck the official and blackmarket rates from MAy to date and tell me if it is stable , lower or higher based on FACTS not what some grumpy , disgruntled person has told you .....not reading is a big problem for blacks
